My dad was the expert in identifying them. Lambs lettuce which is delicious snd expensive to buy in the stores grows wild there. "They taste like skin" 😅 Learned from an Ologies podcast the other day that there are no poisonous compound berries in the US. (Maybe in North America?) Doesn't mean they all taste good, but you can snack with confidence.
Looking in my herb book(Therapeutic Herb Manual) Marshmallow root is “very mucilaginous and demulcent (soothing), a mild astringent. Good for inflammation and irritation of membranes of the urinary tract. Also, enhances immune response”. Hope you can find some to purchase. I buy the powder from Amazon and stir into water. MULLEIN is a”soothing diuretic and is for cystitis and burning urine”. The book recommends 30 to 60 drops of tincture (HERB FARM), 2 to 5 times per day. Cautions: None known. The MARSHMALLOW ROOT can also be taken at the same dosage in tincture form and has no know cautions Hope this helps. Thank you for sharing your adventure! You look beautiful!
