GENIUS!!!! I'm inventing my own solutions at the moment too. This is a brilliant idea. I need mine to be solid at the top. The cheapest idea I've come up with is to buy wood fence panels 8' L x 6' W and flip them over making an 8' horizontal fence attached to my existing 6ft wood fence. If I use lattice I have to sandwich 2 panel with privacy fabric in between so the price keeps going up plus more work.😂
I was searching for such an economical idea for my wall great to see that .Can you put more videos , really interested to see more installation.🧡🧡🧡🧡 You grandpa....

I originally wanted 8' when I had my wood privacy fence installed (1998), but Sears Home Improvement only offered 6' & 4'. They ended up hiring some 3rd party contractors anyway, I guess who used Sears wood, idk. I got 6', but I really need 8' like I wanted, especially with how the open borders neighborhood has become. Your extension looks more like 1'(I'm sure it's in meters there wtf ever) than 2' and I'm not wanting Lattice but a solid sheet of something not see through. Heck, I wish I could have a 30' block or steel wall with double razor wire on top or a force shield to keep these criminal a hos out. Thanks for the idea though. I'll probably rig something up using your general concept. I'm wanting to make it board on board now as well. Maybe I'll have to add some more concrete and steel poles and beams if wind can't get through anymore and may lead to leaning otherwise or what not.

Not difficult when you are adding height to a properly constructed fence--which are few and far between. Also, at the height you installed the addition, where I live, code enforcement would be citing you. There are always too many neighbors will to dime you out for ignoring such ridiculous codes. Can't tell you the number of fences I've had to modify because some busybody neighbor complained about someone's fence!
