I haven't sewn two pieces of fabric together in years using the diagonal method and I wanted to do this for a binding for a wallhanging. Went straight to your video and had it sewn together in less than 5 minutes!! Thanks for a good video!
Love the colors you used and the straightforward explanation of how to sew the strips together. So glad I found your channel and hope you're still making videos for us. TYSM for sharing your techniques.
Just let me say that I have searched and searched and I finally found a site that helped learned how to do this. Thank you so very much for how you showed and told me this was easy...I don't know why I was making it so hard, again thank you!!!
Thank you..Soo much easier. Than the cutting the fabric on a diagonal and then sewing together. I had a Miss trying to cut that fabric and then sew it. Somehow I kept flip-flopping the Fabrics so I had a seam on both sides in some cases.
I've done it before with mixed results because of my poor mountain internet service. Now that I've moved and have a stronger signal I'll be trying it again - probably later this month or in March. Sign up for the newsletter if you want to be notified when they'll be. :-) eepurl.com/-gx9L

Thank you so much! I like the look of this much better than just a straight line. It gives it streamlined appearance.

Thank you ma'am ..
you make it look so easy. I have a new Bernina 770 QE but am wondering how you can sew precisely corner to corner without marking a line?
How to measure strips when sewn together on diagonal?
I always sew them all together then measure what I need. :-)
You stitch on the diagonal, even though the strips are at a 45°?
Joining strips with a diagonal seam spreads out the bulk of that seam, whether the strips are cut on the bias or straight grain.

Thank you!
