I love it! I was going to say one of things I really like about your channel is that you don't do stuff for clicks or likes. It's very refreshing and informative
Funny how used SUV's, jeeps, trucks are so much more expensive in places like the NW and Rocky Mountains than more urban areas where there is not a lot of overlanding etc being done, you can get one of those for far less in one of those type areas, supply and demand I guess. Nice rig.
Wow you got a pretty good starter kit. Already has a lift and 34 inch tires. I'm currently building my 2002 Sequoia.. I put my effort and energy into having 170 amp hours onboard. Lithium batteries. With a 100 watt solar panel. Can't wait to see more of your build I need to do an update video of my build.
These are bulletproof rigs if maintained properly. I need upper/lower ball joints (very common issue for the 1st gens) and a few other more minor things, but for a 21-year-old rig it’s in pretty good shape. I just watched your rear hatch video, and I’m going to be ripping mine apart as well. Rare design flaw by Toyota. I ordered a similar custom part that I saw on the Wasatch Moto Overland channel. I’m also replacing my lock actuator back there. Like owning an old house...
@@ThisLandHasMrE oh nice yeah I got watcstach handle on mine. Somehow I thought I had the Bennett and half to make it fit so mine's a little mangled but it works great... . Yeah I plan to get the aftermarket lower control arms. And of course the factory ball joints go with them. I think they were solo motorsports. They will move your front wheels one in forward. I've already bought the power steering rack bushings. But nothing else yet,.
Have a 2001 four runner love this vehicle and would be happy to have it as my sole vehicle till I die ( hopefully another 10 years )… BUT Videos like yours of Sienna camper vans has me flirting with making a switch . I never go off road . If anyone looking for used TRUCKS and Range Rovers come to NJ . Pretty much flat state , gas is usually lower than elsewhere , and a lot of folks with money that like status🙄🙄 . I cannot tell you how many big Trucks that never see a lick of work or dirt are driving around !!! They are Always shine clean . And we have a Range Rover dealer in south Jersey … flattest part of the state 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️ The world is 🙃

Thanks, I feel the same way about the several nomad channels here on YT that I watch.
Well-done my friend. It like a movie. This is certainly the most underrated SUV

NJ … big trucks that never see work are an epidemic here with the affluent boomers 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Nice one!
Toyotas are built to last.
I look forward to seeing the end result!
Me too!
Thanks for sharing your newest adventure. And your Mr. E mobile.
I’m amazed at the notion that if something goes wrong, you will fix it.
Really enjoyed watching this! Your Sequoia looks great! I had no idea it had all the 5 vowels until you said so, cool fact😆
I LOVE THIS VIDEO SO MUCH!!! IM A 02 SEQUOIA DRIVER AND THIS WAS SO ENTERTAINING !!!! 🤣
Hey welcome to my neck of woods in Wa State! Great rig Mr E👌🏼I am looking forward to your creative approach to turning it into a cozy living space😊
That's awesome! Those are hard to find and not that cheap because they hold their value so well. I gave up and got a Sienna. Wish I would've waited.
Very much enjoyed your take on van life, loved the humour! Looking forward to see what you do with the new to you rig! 😀🇨🇦
Nice rig....good year...timing belt and interference....keep an eye out....DDL
Replace lower ball joints, check last time timing belt was replaced

Did you install a diff drop kit, extended sway bar links for the 2.5in lift?
I bought it with the lift already done, but it’s got no extended sway bar links or diff drop kit.
@@ThisLandHasMrE thank you very much
its def a great platform. i have an 03, they are great rigs. excited to see a roof deck!
Great find! I'm from Western Washington and been looking for a Sequoia for a while now but can't find one under $6000 lol
What's the paint material on the exterior? cost? Looks really cool

Nice!
Whats the matte black raptor wrap? I can't find it online, looks sick!
Yeah, the guy I bought it from did the liner and he did a really good job with it. This is the stuff: www.raptorliner.com/
Is that ‘skin’ covering radar-stealthy? Not that you’d need that…
🤔I don't know, but it would be nice since the speedometer is not calibrated properly for the oversized tires.
