I don't remember exactly how Vessel worded it out but he said smtg really cool on an interview it was along the lines of "Don't think in genres, it'll only confuse you. Music is for everyone"
Dude, there's something so unique about this one. The more I listen to the four songs, the more I fall in love with this one. The way it builds in the end and comes together is very overwhelming. Lyrically and instrumentally it just feels like a massive weight pressing down on you in the best way possible.
the summoning is incredible and unique in its own way, but this is more cohesive i could listen to this on repeat, the summoning i couldn't, its more of a journey. This is deffo my favourite of the releases :)
his vocals are so clean and even for most of the song, but the last chorus, especially the last "but I am", is injected with so much emotion, yet u kinda don't hear it at first. like u said, deceptive complexity. worship
Same. Sleep Token's songs have mostly been slow burns for me - but I agree Granite is my favorite - its the perfect blend of R&B and metal and I didn't even think that was possible to pull off without cringe :)
We are truly in the presence of a great artist. I hope they keep it up in my opinion they are on the same level of fan base of what tool was in their time. Every song is a different genre, and I am here for it.
Greetings from Canada! Just subscribed to your channel! So impressed with your reaction videos. Great vibes and very eloquent commentary. Looking forward to discovering more new music with you as the host.
The vocal control is incredible on this track. The faint, but distinct vibrato Vessel employs on the first verse is ridiculous. Then that second verse hits and the intensity builds… just wow. The Summoning is great, but this is the song that gets stuck in my head all day.
This is now my favorite song from them. Jaws got dethroned by The Summoning, and as great as that song is, it didn't reign long as my fav, though it's still very close. Who knows what's next though!
Out of all the singles ST have released so far ranked from greatest to least would be The Summoning, Chokehold, Granite then Aqua Regia. This song has very catchy sing along vibes and the heavy part at the end love it! I am so looking forward to this album \m/
Great reaction! You got a new subscriber! Sleep Token is very unique. I found them about 2 months back when I saw Will Ramos, the vocalist of Lorna Shore, do a cover to Alkaline. ( he also did a cover of Chokehold I think a week or two back) I was intrigued by the lyrics and I’ve been on this journey of a musical experience with Sleep Token! Songs like The Summoning take you on an experience of pushing you back but swooning you in. Granite, Aqua Regia, Dark Signs have that sweet R& b feel to it. Elements of shoegaze, R&B, Prog Metal. I’ve never listened to a band that had such unique sounds. I’d recommend a reaction to Will Ramos’ covers to Sleep Token! WORSHIP

I feel the exact same way! There’s something special about this song that really captures Sleep Token as a band.

YEEEAAAAHHHHHH. This song might be my favourite of their new releases
My favourite the singles so far. The chorus just sticks in my head.
Love this one. I think I’ve listened to it the most of the new 4.
The vocal control is incredible on this track. The faint, but distinct vibrato Vessel employs on the first verse is ridiculous. Then that second verse hits and the intensity builds… just wow. The Summoning is great, but this is the song that gets stuck in my head all day.
Sleep Token is BabyMakingCore change my mind
This one definitely evolved into my favorite of the 4 so far. Also, I'm drinking the same monster as I watching this during my workday lol

Takes me straight back to "Sundowning"
Hearing their new album makes me upset that Twelve Foot Ninja Called it a day. Taking and excelling in the space that they left.
Bloody Brilliant!! Everything they do!!
Has anyone ever said you look like Michael Clarke?
