The lead singer, Vessel, does all of the songwriting, singing, recording, and a bit of the production except for the drums. II does the drums. III and IV step in for tours only. The lyrics are very deep in all of their songs. I would recommend for future videos to pause more often, keep the lyrics up and on hand, and really dig into them. The lyrics are unlike anything I've ever seen before. Vessel's ability to play with words can paint a vivid image in your head.
I’m not sure if you’ve been told this but this album is the end of a trilogy of albums that is an expression of sleep tokens lore. The trilogy starts with sundowning. Vessel so the vocalist and all guitars and piano the creator basically II is all percussion III and IV are the bass and guitar for live performances. The lore is interesting I encourage you to look it up and take the journey. You won’t regret it and you will appreciate the artistic ability of Vessel. Worship 🖤

Sleep Token is a band from England, and they're anonymous. This song is from their third album. They dont really have a set genre and really do such unique and great songwriting, which highly recommend to look up the lyrics if you do another reaction. Vessel, ii, iii, and iv are the members of the band, they wear masks during live performances. Vessel has only done one interview years ago for a magazine. ii did an interview and drumming performance on the Drumeo channel, which is very insightful to his drumming and creative method.
Definitely dopeness for sure 😊. Vessel is the songwriter/composer of all instruments on the albums except for the drums, which is II. Vessel is a musical prodigy and insane lyrasist as well. He puts emotions in words that most people don't know how to say. His voice is too good! He has mesmerized the masses with his voice and music. Technically ST are a band, anonymous but only Vessel and II record the albums, but they have a bass player (III) and guitar player (IV) for their live shows. I can't wait to see them May 6th in Tampa. I'm so excited I feel like a teenager again! That's the power of Sleep Token 😅....

@@jenzki657 yes, it's not cool to call out his before Vessel name. I found out accidentally but it doesn't matter because I only know him as Vessel. He's hella talented and I enjoy everything he's made with Sleep Token. His pain is so palpable in voice, and I feel like that's why so many find his music relatable.

If you'd like to see Vessel, check out Alkaline's music video next. Not only is it a banger, but it's one of the few songs with a video, better yet with vessel in it. I think the only others with Vessel in it are The love you want, the way you were, and thread the needle?

This song was actually my introduction to Sleep Token. Someone I love very much sent it to me and Ive jammed to it ever since. When I am feeling a certain way or want to feel a certain way I put this track on.
This was also my first ST song. I remember it catching my ear because I was trying to figure out “is this rap/r&b/electronica?” After this, I heard the Summoning, but it didn’t catch on for me AT FIRST. Then I saw ii’s interview on Drumeo and that opened up the flood gates. Dammmmnn I was hooked. Still listen to them every day.
