Every metal vocalist screams and growls but for some reason I believe it more when it's Vessel screaming like that. The last minute of Vore is god mode stuff, unreal.
This one grows on me the more I listen to it. Wasn't as much of a fan the first couple of times, but with every listen there's new layers I can hear in there, it just has so much going on, incredible as always.
This is my favourite character design so far, whoever made them needs to be hired for every game. Love the song, Sleep Token can only produce perfection in my eyes.
It would be cool if Sleep Token teamed up with the dark souls people and as soon as the album comes out, they announce an elden ring dlc with all these as bosses. And when you fight them, the respective song plays
I feel like they have been listening to Deftones and The Atlas Moth. I could never get into Sleep Token but I've loved every single they have released so far.
This fuckin song is the best metal I've heard in foreeeeeeeeeeeeeever. This band is so fuckin fresh and not just the same prog djent bullshit that I've heard over and over and over for years now. I was about to die from lack of something new to be in love with and these boys gave me that back. Them and Greg Puciato's solo albums 🙌🙌🙌🙌
there’s some production differences, but most of the scream change i feel like is when ST went on tour with Architects recently and Vessel maybe got some pointers ? :)
Sleep token has a close relationship with a lot of good screaming vocalists, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s been working on his scream since Gods came out and he realized he couldn’t perform it live
Bro I’m either tripping after watching 100 of your videos or your camera is moving and giving ya boy motion sickness 😂 great reaction bro!!! This band is beyond amazing 🤘
Great song. My only complaint is that the outro felt underwhelming... I really felt like the song was building up to something (breakdown/funk/who the hell knows with this band), but they went back to what they'd already done and faded out. But hey, we got a blegh from Vessel at the end there, so I'm not complaining too much.
Yeah, I don't know why they made the decision to fade out, it's being released as a single, so they will be performing it live. They can't fade out live, so why not end it the way it would end when performed? Unless it being the single version it could have a different transition on the album? Very confusing.
@@thankyoumisterspell I mean he DID tour with Sam Carter whose scream is pretty high, and also this sounds like vessel to me. He’s done the high fry scream live before on the summoning from what I’ve heard
@@Pepper_Jvck I'd love to believe it's him, I just don't see him pushing to be able to scream while also needing to be able to sing the way he does, especially if they have other members in the band who can scream a couple lines here and there. I personally don't think it's Vessel in Vore, but I guess we won't know until the album comes out and we can see liner notes.
@@thankyoumisterspell Vessel and II are the only ones credited in this song, so there's that. Also I believe Vessel did the screaming in this song because he's proven that he can scream like this. He did the screams in the Summoning, and the tone of these screams sound roughly the same minus the effects. I'm also willing to bet that he learned some basic vocal fry and false chord screams from Sam Carter when they toured with Architects.

His growl is as unique as his clean voice. Hard to realize the same guy makes both!

I've had a similar experience. At first it was my second least favorite to aqua but now I think I might actually be favorite so far 😂
Vessel's voice is so perfect. Can't help but hear a little bit of old breaking benjamin and maybe some MIW when I hear his cleans.
I simply can't get over the emotional expression of the vocals (especially the screams)/lyrics.
Just an absolute God teir masterpiece.

@Ashley Booker if anyone could bring them to life, it would be Miyazaki so I'm all in for this idea

I love how aqua regia is before this on the album. You go from a bop to vore being so heavy.
Masterpiece! Worship!!
That chorus is huge!!!! Love this song. Pity I missed out on tickets still. :-(
I already ordered the vinyl. So excited. Worship.
This is my favorite track from the album, GOOSEBUMPS every time!
this fucking track gave me goosebumps

One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard, AOTY for me!
Its like blackmetal/shoegaze
BlackGaze
If he can pull this off live..

Pretty sure the current touring guitarist is supplying the screams as of late
Looks like the snake thing from doom eternal
ah yes, the whiplash.
Glad you noticed that as well.

Lowkey at first believed Jack Bergin was Vessel.

If you want more vessel bleghs, see them play higher live. During the breakdown he always lets out a little blegh

WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT HOW ITS CALLED VORE???
Because we’re actively trying not to think about it
deftones
I really think is IV doing all the screams… from what I heard live, it really sounds like him. 🤷♀️
These are definitely vessel’s screams. Vessel does all the recorded screams in studio, and IV does a few scream parts live.
I think you're right, this is not the way Vessel screams when he does it, unless he really learned some new techniques in the last year.

Umm you're not tall enough to be III the bass player 😂
I’m 6”2 how tall is he???
@Roguenjosh wow he's been reported as 6"2 to 6"5 so you could be him. Do you play the bass? 😂
I'm pretty sure the guitar player is doing the screaming on this.
That is also the singer. There are only 2 people in this band and then they alternate additional live players.
