13 years for killing a young girl who had her life ahead... 13 years for him when the victim's families got life of sufferings... 13 years is such a lack of respect for the victim and her loved ones... 13 years is just shameful and he'll be out in 10 years and still young enough to build a new life for himself.
    It's disgusting

What he suggested was that he can’t prove that it was murder, and that he truly believed he would continue to wind at deadlock, he certainly gave testimony to what he believed were the worst parts of the case. The judge could’ve chose a higher sentence, but did not, I would argue 13 years to an 18-year-old is like 22 years to a 40-year-old. We see time VERY differently. Heck that’s how he got here!

He knows as does the family, he wouldn’t have gotten a conviction & states that multiple times in his continued speaking. They both were guilty of frequently playing with firearms, posting it online, & Kaylee & Zack were both known to play Russian roulette on a live. I don’t understand how the gun safe owner didn’t see any of this on their social media accounts as it went on for months and months of these gun play times, & often. They were living in the basement and playing with the guns daily, including putting the gun in her own mouth online. I don’t believe that this boy killed her, I believe she did it herself when she was in a hurry to get downstairs to play with her gun and boyfriend & she had to babysit. Neither of them thought the gun was loaded as it hadn’t been in the past when they had physically shot the gun. If she was going downstairs to just grab a ball and come back up & then she doesn’t come right back up for more than 30 minutes, she was playing with the gun & somehow was killed while playing. The prosecutor would have never got a conviction on Zach & knew that. His defense atty should have taken it to a jury trial but Zach didn’t want to, her took responsibility for his part in her passing & should’ve been given way less time then he got.

I get mad with these prosecutors he got 13 years for killing somebody’s daughter they did not work hard they did not work for the victims. They work for the for the young man who committed the murder 13 years for killing somebody in cold blood. This is why these prosecutors need to be prosecuted. You don’t wanna do your job step down from doing it and let somebody else that has more morals then this guy did you guys do not care about that girl who was killed all you cared about was the killer and I’m saying that you as a prosecutor do you not do your job you should be terminated immediately that family will never get to see their daughter again because huge prosecutors would not give him either a death penalty or 100 years behind bars you should be ashamed of yourself for being called a prosecutor you did not do your damn job

Our system of "justice" has been broken for a long time. I was stabbed in the chest in the early 80's and the perp was given probation. The reason? Because at their arraignment, I was fighting for my life in the hospital. I suffered complications for many years afterward. The system is set up to protect the criminals and with these Soros backed DA's, it's gotten much worse.

This is the first I heard of this. He described them as children playing with a gun. Living together and in love are not children. They were both at fault.

Saying he's going to be in prison getting a college degree while she's laying in the ground and her family grieves over her at the grave makes me mad and sad for the victims family He got off easy.

This kid gets 12 yrs???? What a disgrace. He killed a beautiful young girl. And his actions and statements afterward showed no remorse just self preservation! Even his statements at sentencing were so self serving! IVE been thru so much!!??? Give me a break. He deserves much more time on my opinion. But I do believe he will continue to be in and out of jail for most of his life

This young man is selfish and has no regard for the dead young lady or her family. He does not state exactly what happened but goes into defend his character. He talks about checking on her family’s social media status and is not happy that they never spoke about this sad and deadly incident. His self harm struggles are for selfish reasons that he was incarcerated and not for his deadly behaviour.

Just looking at that pathetic lump, he screams of the phrase.."prison b*tch".
Do you know, when you hope the person who took a life of a beautiful young thing, because they're having their own issues indulged or ignored, or unnoticed, whifh is worse, and you hope they don't have it easy? This guy won't.
    I wonder if he knows?
Seems to me, domestic abuse is starting earlier and tolerated vy too many.
Imagine if you stopped your 6ft2in bro, from smacking his 5ft partner full on in the face, instead of watchung and turning away... cos that's theur business... then i don't call you a friend to either party.
Imagine it wasnt OK to do thus in full view of people, when the perp knows no one will ever defend her?
If you can watch a fri3nd do this shit to their partners, and dont judge them for it? You're not their friend.
Becayse yiur friend, is defec6ive. And it goes any way around. Whoever does the abuse, to anyone, it's bad enough in private. If youre comfortable with watching someone treat someone like that and still say they're a friend?
We've lost that. And these fuys just kept getting kore aggressive and more emboldened.
    Yay. Evolution.
P.s. forgive the typos, I'm going blind because of one man's inability to control his temper. :/

So if you’re arguing with your girlfriend all day in a basement, and you shoot her in the face (accidentally of course), and there are no cameras or witnesses, then it will be an accident 100% of the time? Did she attempt to leave? Couldn’t there have been some kidnapping? Could someone kidnap someone else and repeat this crime and get this lite sentence? I’m kinda shocked he didn’t get 30 years. Did they get all the jurors from the O.J. Trial?!?! Did A.I. Johnnie Cochran appear on Zoom and tell the jury “It doesn’t fit!”??
