  • A completely riveting and raw documentary looking into the life of 20 year old Connor Towey who was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) at the age of 3. Connor is a big voice for Duchenne, especially after going viral while dancing to "Home Pussy", a comedy video Connor made and uploaded to social media that gained him millions of views. He since wants to carry on raising awareness for Duchenne.
DMD is a rare muscle disorder affecting approximately 1 in 3,500 male births worldwide. There is currently no cure meaning Duchenne is fatal. However, Connor continues to baffle doctors as to how he is doing remarkably well for his age.
This documentary explores day to day life living with Duchenne, how that effects a person and their family, covering the highs and lows life has to offer.
Connor still continues to be a big voice for DMD and is actively sharing his story online and through public speaking at schools and events.
Myself and Connor made the last minute decision to set up a justing giving page. We feel we are offering valuable information about Duchenne in the documentary, but wondered what more we could do. We want to offer a solution so that those who watch the documentary and feel as though they would like to help, actually have that option there. So please support and fight against this terrible condition, you will not only be supporting Duchenne but also an independent documentary. Any donation no matter how big or small is truly appreciated, thank you: www.justgiving.com/fundraisin...

I just don't quite grasp how he is walking and lifting his arms and able to lift devices etc. Lots of boys I went to school with would walk up on tip toes and get really tired then be full time wheelchair users and I remember playing pool and they had to use tue que upside down and slide it along the pool table. His body shape and gait and listening to the bone density explanation makes me think he has additional conditiona too like brittle bone disease. Drugs must be so much more advanced for him to be so able at his age. Normally they have breathing issues and quite dependant by this point
