Dr. John, aka Dog Doc, Thank You. I can't afford to take our J-Lynn to get these tests done. I thought, like most, that it was hip dysplasia; but then it got worse w the knuckling. Then falling and dragging. I JUST found your channel. Now I KNOW, w/out a doubt, it's DM. She's definitely in stage 3 closing in on stage 4. I'm SO glad to know that it's painless. I've been giving her a combo of gabapentin and tramadol when I can find it. Thank you so much for your vids. God bless you and your team. Now I get to figure out how to make her a wheelchair...
How do you slow it down?
My dog was diagnosed at stage 1 which was a year ago, my dog is reactive and doesn't like being touched by anyone but me so my vet just advised to keep him active to keep his muscles built up and get weight off so he isn't fat x I'm pretty sure we are in stage 3, he isn't incontinent yet, we won't be waiting untill stage 5 before euthanasia! When he can't walk then that's when we decide
