Thanks Jim! I recently purchased a new wheel for my 2020 Raptor and got to say your video here was by far the best out there. I went back and rewatched portions of it at least 5 times while installing. Took me an hour in total to do the job. Best by far! Thanks.
I just purchased a 2019 gen 2 ford Raptor super crew with the carbon fiber package 802a love it has corsa dual mufflers and Cobb tune and turbo smart blow off valve it’s quick !! Love it so far got it September 16th!!!
@kart_racing8566 sup dude! I already ordered a intake and BOV which should arrive tomorrow! Getting a Exhaust installed Thursday also 😂 wasting no time, next is oil catch cans lol
Great video! I was looking at this exact one and while I have a lariat with heated functionally and no paddle shifters, I was wondering if this came with the paddle shifter cover inserts to hide the holes on the back of the steering wheel?
@@f1fiftyjimmy Yes, however you completely loose functionality of the heated steering wheel! Or you can but the raptor one like you got but I don't know if it works in the F150's and you'll have the paddle shift cut outs (holes) which doesn't look good. That's my dilemma.
@@IanRitter-f1q Ya wasn't thinking about that. Might look a little tacky without the paddle shifters. Just buy the carbon fiber paddle shifters and they just wont be useable.
Not sure, I have the Ford ESP warranty and I would like to think it wouldn't. I suppose if I had an issues with controls I would just swap my stock back in, only takes around 20 mins.
Hey Jim i’ve been watching all your videos about the raptor the pros the cons and the upgrades i’ve been looking at a ford raptor in MN I live in SD so right next to Iowa but it’s listed for 49,900 it has 49k miles carbon fiber package all the bells and whistles it doesn’t have the raptor decals on it which I could throw on later down the road but idk if it’s a good deal or not and it also has been in an accident but the dealership got the story of what happened and they explained everything thru to me I just don’t know what to do what’s your opinion!
My 2019 had 59k and I paid $49 before taxes. The wrecked part I would probably overlook if it was minor and there's nothing bad on the Carfax (branded/salvage or total loss vehicle). To be honest I always think about removing my raptor decals. As long as the wreck was minor price seems around the ballpark I've been seeing them go for lately.

Great to hear! I noticed a lot of other install vids were lacking the small details!
Great videos dude. I just bought my 2019 Raptor three weeks ago. Kinda nice to have these videos for beginners.
Thanks man! Glad they help!
So I have a 2024 STX--\-same situation? Good to go? Or is 2024 a tipping point needing a an also 2024 wheel?
Catch can video on those turbos next. Unless it would void your warranty?
Great video!
Love the videos. (Have you considered doing minor engine mods like a Catch can and cold air intake or exhaust videos 🤷🏼♂️
Thanks!! Ya I might throw something in!
Had to pick one up myself!
Hey Jim thanks for the video. Just got me a 2015 platinum F150 and was wondering if this would work for my truck. Thanks bro
No prob! Not gonna lie I didn’t think I would care to have a carbon wheel, ya I was wrong, it’s worth it!
@@f1fiftyjimmy thanks a lot bro.
Dude been watching your vids for a little while now. Trading in my 2013 fx4 for a 2020 raptor today and im so excited to start this new project!
Hell ya man! Ain’t nothing like driving around in the Gen 2. Congrats on the purchase!

You can order one without the paddle shifter option!

Anyone know if they make this in an orange stripe?
Do you think it will void the warranty, if I installed it on my 2018 f150?
Not sure, I have the Ford ESP warranty and I would like to think it wouldn't. I suppose if I had an issues with controls I would just swap my stock back in, only takes around 20 mins.
@f1fiftyjimmy yeah I have the esp too. I really just got it for the 10 speed transmission.
Will this fit a 2016 f150
Does the raptor logo come factory with the raptor stamp on steering wheel?
Yes on the 2019 and 2020's. The 17 and 18's don't have that.
How does it feel in direct sunlight? Hotter or cool than the factory wheel?
@@alexchen2408 I haven’t noticed any differnece but it’s only been 80s here. I don’t think there will be any issue.
It's definitely hotter, but not bad.
6:19 absolute no shot.
You selling your oem one?
