Fluffiest No Knead Milk Bread You Can Make At Home

  • How to make the fluffiest and the lightest Milk Bread at home without machine. I hope you like watching and baking along with me.
    Here's what you'll need:
    1 cup warm milk (250ml)
    1 large egg (room temp)
    1/4 cup sugar (50g)
    3 cups all purpose flour (375g)
    2 and 1/4 tsp instant yeast (7g)
    1 tsp salt (5g)
    1/4 cup unsalted butter (55g) melted
    Eggwash: 1 egg + 2 tbsp milk

      There is a part in the video that is not clear. After the 40 minutes of resting the dough it said "Remove the gas as shown" Although indeed it was shown but it seems that the dough was again folded and "kneaded" for several times. How long did you do it? This looks like an important part but it seems that the video was cut and the next scene is when it was flattened on the table and rolled. The instructions between 2:22 - 2:52 is not very clear. Can you clarify this if you have made it. i appreciate it!

    I made this about 3 hours ago and I just want to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! It is fantastic and will now become a staple recipe in our home. Everyone loved it!!     I didn't think I could do it like the video. The dough seemed sticky. But I followed it step by step. Wow!!! It is the lightest, sweetest, fluffiest bread. I even toasted it and put butter on it. Sweet! What a keeper!! If you're after a bread with chew, this is not it. Delicious; Who needs store bought or a bread machine?

    I tried baking bread in the past but was unsuccessful. I gave this recipe a try since it's easy without kneading and it's really good. Though it didn't rise that much(for reasons I don't know), it came out pretty well. Delicious and fluffy my husband loved it!

      @@Blue-gl7jn homemade bread does have a more yeasty taste. At least I. My opinion. I love that flavor though.

      @@Blue-gl7jn I reduced the yeast to a little over 1 tsp and let it sit longer near the warm stove each time. Mine doesn’t have any strong yeast flavor and it turned out delicious. Love this simple recipe.

    This is simply the best. For the first time I was able to make bread successfully at home. I was so excited that it turned out perfect.     I have issues with both my wrists so kneading is very hard for me, This recipe is easy enough that my 8yo can help me and it was so good he even made a loaf for the teachers in the staffroom, they didnt believe he made it himself till i showed them pictures of him making it. Thank you for this. its not just a Recipe it was a bonding moment between me and my son.

    Omg! I've been making bread for awhile now. This is by far the best bread I've ever made!! It's just what I wanted when I started. Thank you so much!! It was a bit wet and sticky at first so I added more flour and then I used a little less butter then it was perfect. Awesome recipe!!

    I’ve been dying to try making bread, but I happen to have arthritis in my hands so eliminating the kneading aspect, and how soft & fluffy & moist this turned out genuinely gives me hope that I can finally do it! This is one of the best cooking channels I have come across, keep up the excellent work!

      Yes, I also have severe arthritis in my hands and wrist and this was very easy for me to make. Give it a go! You'll be surprised at how easily the dough comes together on its own! Wishing you well.

      Totally agree with your "arthritis" assessment of this recipe. I have PSA and I have trouble with kneading also. I am so happy that I found this recipe. Not an everyday treat for me but definitely on my CHEAT DAY list.👍🏻

      I'm going to try this in a bread machine.. will use quick bread mode. I use my machine for bread,rolls, buns,kolache. Then I eat all I want. Best machine price at thrift store .

    I made this the first time yesterday, it came out pretty good. The bread wasn’t quiet as fluffy but still good. I’m making my second batch now. This is definitely a go to easy recipe for bread. Oh by the way, cut in thick slices it makes the best cinnamon French toast we’ve ever ate!

      Could you please let me know about how long you ended up lifting and folding after taking out the gas? The vid cuts out and then back with a smooth ball sitting there so there's no indication of the amount of time it took...thx!

      I too found the dough very sticky. I googled 3 cups equals 375 gm. Instead of lifting, i kneaded the dough and added more flour while kneading, not as. 4:50 sticky.

    I've tried making bread more than a couple of times and each time it was a failure. This is the first recipe that I followed and got the perfect result. Such soft beautiful bread made by my own hands! I'm so thrilled and grateful! Thank you for this beautiful recipe, it's perfect! No kneading, no hassles, yet soft, fluffy and tasty bread.       I remember that I didn't knead it but kept doing what she's doing to the dough for a good 10 mins after adding the butter to get the non sticky consistency that she has obtained before the "40 mins" proofing time. If you knead at that time and it has proofed well and risen then I guess the bread will turn out right even if you don't knead it much after the 40 mins proofing. Infact, over kneading the dough also tends to make the bread kind of dense I've been told. Maybe you should give this a try.

    Best milk bread recipe ever! But as someone else mentioned in the comments , if you go with the given recipe then the dough is very wet and sticky. I added an extra 1/4 cup of flour and the result was soft , fluffy and well risen sweet bread. My family loved it. Thank you for this recipe ☺️

    Baked this a couple of days of go. My husband said best bread I made so far. It was very easy to make.
    I did do something a bit different after spreading the butter it seemed like it was too much butter.
    I thought I messed up. I just let the dough soak up the butter.. and then I pulled and folded only a few times. It turned out delicious.

    I just made this bread tonight and it was a success!! It’s so much like the white bread we used to buy at the store before changing to wheat bread!! Thank you soo much to this channel!! I learned a lot from you. It was soft and delish lol..also for people who are new to bread making. You should cut in the middle or center of the bread 🍞 and then put it in plastic or foil to retain its softness. If you are not going to finish this whole bread in a day, freeze it! 👌🏽😀

    I use this recipe but use some whole wheat flour with plain flour and sometimes I add ground up flaxseeds or ground LSA mix. It is now my go-to bread recipe. It is easy to adjust the amount of flour needed to get dough that looks like that in the video.

    I made this bread today.
    Instead of 1 loaf i divided the dough into 2 parts. I know this bread needs lots of proofing time but it turns out excellent even the dough was sticky it got stucked on the rolling pin..but is ok. Im happy with the result. Thank you very much.

    Thank you so much for an excellent and easy recipe. I am now making bread at home following your recipe only. Of course with a little bit of tweaking. I make two loaves at a time. I use a stand mixer for making dough. And I found if 14 gms of yeast is added then the top of bread develops cracks. So I use only 5 gms of instant dry active yeast.
    I have now made bread six times with your recipe and every time it came out beautifully soft and fluffy. Lots of thanks to you again. May god bless you.

    It was just perfect…soft n moist n even better than other bread. Put exactly d same ingredient. Very sticky at first but when I let d bread rest for about 30 minutes n fold again w a little spread of flour… it’s so much better ❤ Thank you for sharing

    2nd time making the bread and it has never disappointed. The taste is awesome,even hubby who tries to avoid anything I bake 😀 since he says he ain't a guinea pig,eats half the loaf by himself. Pls make a video on cinnamon rolls, dinner buns,scones and the like.. Great recipe and thank you for sharing with us your honest,true way of baking.

      @@anthonyperkins5856 I've discovered that each time my bread turned out "like a brick", it was because of the yeast I was using. Since I've switched up my yeast (and follow this recipe), light and fluffy every time.

      This is my goal. Bread is so expensive in the store. Counting the butter and the electricity it has to be better than store bought without any preservative and what other junk is added in the store bread.

    I recently made a lazy bread. Was to tired to knead.And it turned out great. Then i came across this videa and the method was so similar to the one i formulated, except dt i used veggie oil and i let it rest for just about 5mins..and i was like wow! Am gooood!!

    I’ve made the bread, very nice but a bit sweet. Next loaf I will halve the amount of sugar or add sultanas to make a fruit loaf. But it’s beautiful and soft.

    I have tried your same recipe with same quantity of ingredients and look , taste and flavour was such a delicious ,,,,,,,, my dough was not like yours ,it was too much sticky and loose dough ,I don't know why but when I baked ,its was just an awesome tasty bread with perfect taxture,,,,, thnq for sharing 👏👏👌👍

      I’ve heard that after baking your bread you should let it cool completely before cutting it :) If you cut it immediately the dough would still be a bit gooey if I’m not wrong

      In the instructions, indicated 3 cups of flour bracketed 375g. If we use standard 1 cup =250g, the portion will be off. Need to read carefully

      i’ve never used yeast before, and the different options have been confusing me. is there a big difference between instant and regular active yeast? can you use them interchangeably in a recipe?

    Okay, I made this and using these measurements mine was too wet so if you live in a very humid climate I would add at least another quarter cup of flour.

      Mine didnt turn out right. It was wet..i added flour and took longer time to bake. At last it turns out hard on the surface and the middle still not cook.
      Im not going to try again

    I just baked this bread recipe and I really love it. The texture is just what I want. I bake one bread using all purpose flour and the other with bread flour and both are superb though the one with bread flour has a firmer texture and a bit bigger. Thanks for the recipe 😍

    Made these just now....I tried two other recipes but they Didn't work....This one was kinda wet at the start so i had low hopes....But it turned out perfectly fine in the end(i baked for 190°C for 35 mins)....It was down to earth perfect.... 10/10

      I think if you are using salted butter, you should not add salt in the flour

After the 40 minutes of resting the dough it said "Remove the gas as shown" Although indeed it was shown but it seems that the dough was again folded and "kneaded" for several times. How long did you do it? This looks like an important part but it seems that the video was cut and the next scene is when it was flattened on the table and rolled. The instructions between 2:22 - 2:52 is not very clear. Can you clarify this if you have made it. i appreciate it!
