This exercise... THIS is the one that gave me a breakthrough. One of your most underrated videos imo. I could belt and shout and strain up to an A4 before, but THIS is what helped me unlock my C5 and connect everything. I appreciate what you do man

This is a good one. You touched on this kind-a thing in the private I did with you. Since then, I've used that nasal occlusion thing pretty often. I've got a long long long way to go, but the other day another musician commented after he heard me doing a solo gig: "Your voice has changed a lot, a lot more resonance." I think we're too close to it, aren't we? Progress is subtle. So it felt good for someone else to bring it up out of the blue. Slow-and-steady progress with your Four Laws course and the Mixed MasterClass. Thanks for your teaching buddy!

Hi Tyler! This is a so very good tip. This exercise is very efficient; cause as i was trying to do a little exercise with you i could feel the effects around my vocal muscle. Keep it up.

Mate you're really good at this ! It really good to visualize the spot where my voice resonate. Dunno if that makes sense. But thanks :)

Hey Tyler- been following your videos for over a month now. Very helpful approaches to getting into mix. I’m a high school music teacher who is trying to learn this approach so I can teach it to my vocal class. My challenge is I need to model the technique for the students and to do that, I have to be confident. I’m only confident when I’ve been doing the exercises in the car on my way to the school. Now in the morning, my voice it totally different than it is in the afternoon. I need some great vocal exercises for bringing my voice to it’s afternoon glory when it’s 7:30am. For instance, there is a wall that I feel I hit with mix in the morning that is totally not there in the afternoon. Any exercises to help this process get there quicker?

I can’t even sound right doing a scale. It doesn’t sound flowy and that vibrato at the end. It just seems like a bird. It sounds musical. Mine is done almost like a talking voice. What am I hearing that I am not doing? Like. Even 1 sustained note you do sounds beautiful. Me, nope lol dead sounding.
