Man, this word needs ´more people like Tyler Wysong. I mean, you give the support, encouragement, motivation to people who are struggling to sing. I am absolutly greatfull that I have found you. Your tecniqs are uniqe and promising. God bless you brother.
Dude. This was game changing. I used to stress high notes (D4-F4 and above; I’m a Baritone) but after this, it’s INCREDIBLY EASY. You’re a genius. You’ve saved me so much time, thank you so much.
Love it and I love this kind of approach. I go the same direction sometimes with the guitar lessons that are seemingly ridiculous, but make all the difference. Keep on keepin' on, brother!
Another great video ! Is this knuckle approach to prevent gripping and tightening but encouraging passive acoustic transfer to upper register? Do you know any free spectrogram I could use to practice and visualise this? Keep on going Tyler, you´re the best!
Hey Tyler, I feel like this was in response to my recent email to you lol You definitely explained what I was stuck on here. Of course, I m only one of 1000’s who struggle with mix so thank you for putting this out for us lost children of Mixed voice singing!
Thank you so very much for your content! I started working with your videos and mix voice masterclass only recently and i´m really grateful for all the knowledge you share for free. I learned a bunch already and i always go back to your videos because they help the most. Thank you for sharing this path. i´d love to hear original songs with your voice as well.
Just saw the whole video, genius. And thanks for an objective way to get mix voice and to verify it, gosh I've always been so frustrated about vocal techniques being so subjective. Thanks! WWhat plugin do you use to check the formants and stuff?
The knuckle tip is great stuff, it really helps if you find you start splatting a little on the high notes. We all have that tendency to go wider when we go higher. This shows you don't have to. You can relax and just allow your voice to rise to unbelievable heights! I kind of glazed over on the spectrograph stuff... sorry... Always love your content though!
Hi Tyler. You sir are a 100% fantastic teacher and a genius. I never knew that by sticking you knuckle between your teeth would stop you larynx rising. I can now glide up and down through my range with much improved airflow and smoothly. Thank you so much for being here.
Wow your mix voice is so strong, loud and beautiful! I want it too. I can sing without breaks in my mix, but my mix is not strong, it's on thy light side. And I want to make it stronger. Do you have a video how to make your mix stronger when you already conquered the break in the passagio but your mix is just on the light side?
Bro can u help me, I can only connect my chest and head, with a very weak voice.i don't think it s a mix, just a connection if I sing very low volume. This also is rare. There is a fine break between them Can't find my mix, can u recommend a video?
Honestly how does anybody can give up singing? I’ve been doing this already for ten years, started from absolute zero all by myself, thousand hours I thought I sound like shit, but give up?? How? It’s just with me everywhere and everyday I still have very much to learn
@@caleb4521 it’s the Estill Voice Print one. If you have a Mac then this works great unfortunately if you have a PC then for whatever reason they have a completely different GUI and it’s different than what I’m doing here. So if you have a Mac grab it if you have a PC then I would not recommend.
Hey Tyler. I owe you an apology. Im really sorry for being so antagonistic regarding your views and opinions. Besides those comments i think you seem like a great guy and hope you can forgive me for coming across rude and disrespectful.

When a man loves a woman is NOT a Bolton song! It’s a Percy Sledge song from the 60’s which Bolton stole until he was forced to give credit to the original artist. The original was better anyway.
James… no one ‘stole’ the song. Bolton simply recorded a cover of it in 1991. Many vocalists had done covers before that (Bette Midler, Jimmy Barnes, Joe Cocker) and continued to do so afterwards. Why wouldn’t they? It’s a classic. To be precise, the song was written by Calvin Lewis & Andrew Wright and originally recorded by Percy Sledge in 1966. No one was ‘forced’ to give credit. The song belonged to Atlantic records and the original writers who were from the band ‘The Esquires.’
Dude.. the knuckle technique is genius.
Yay!! So glad it helped!

the emotional part is ingenious and that's probably what most great singers do without thinking about it, great video Tylor
Thank you so much!! My gosh! I felt the great difference with the knuckle technique!!!!
Hi Tyler! Which program did you use to perform the harmonic / formant analysis, please?
It’s Estill Voiceprint

Thank you soooo much for this video! Exactly what I needed to get this world of formants (just starting to read about it).
i think i already told you a few times already, but you’re awesome!
Tyler, this is a home run of a lesson. So much great stuff. Thanks for sharing the lesson.

I just LOVED this video. What a great explanation, maybe one of the best I've ever heard for mixed voice! Thanks so much!
Good job, Tyler. And thank you. 🤜

I hate the most is when I'm trying to sing head voice , when there's a high notes it just goes back at falsetto
I simply love this, thank you Tyler❣️Now, I‘ll stay disgusted but concerned when it comes to powerful singing😊 Great tip as always❣️
Thank you my friend! Yea go get ‘em!!
Great lesson! Thanks!
Awesome, thanks!

Hey Tyler, which Spectrogram website/app are you using ?
My girlfriend is a singer and we tried this. I said hey stick this in your mouth and boom instant head voice! Awesome!
Shit i always switch to head voice😂

I still have very much to learn
On my turnover, I encounter unavoidable distortion or a static sounding noise. I can't seem to sing around it either...argh
Touching the knuckle with the tip of the tongue was really helpful
Yes!!

It has to be developed, that’s totally normal.
