    Dude. This was game changing. I used to stress high notes (D4-F4 and above; I’m a Baritone) but after this, it’s INCREDIBLY EASY. You’re a genius. You’ve saved me so much time, thank you so much.

    Love it and I love this kind of approach. I go the same direction sometimes with the guitar lessons that are seemingly ridiculous, but make all the difference. Keep on keepin' on, brother!

    Another great video ! Is this knuckle approach to prevent gripping and tightening but encouraging passive acoustic transfer to upper register? Do you know any free spectrogram I could use to practice and visualise this? Keep on going Tyler, you´re the best!

    You definitely explained what I was stuck on here. Of course, I m only one of 1000’s who struggle with mix so thank you for putting this out for us lost children of Mixed voice singing!

    The knuckle tip is great stuff, it really helps if you find you start splatting a little on the high notes. We all have that tendency to go wider when we go higher. This shows you don't have to. You can relax and just allow your voice to rise to unbelievable heights! I kind of glazed over on the spectrograph stuff... sorry... Always love your content though!

Do you have a video how to make your mix stronger when you already conquered the break in the passagio but your mix is just on the light side?

      I can only connect my chest and head, with a very weak voice.i don't think it s a mix, just a connection if I sing very low volume. This also is rare.

    I still have very much to learn

      @@caleb4521 it’s the Estill Voice Print one.
      If you have a Mac then this works great unfortunately if you have a PC then for whatever reason they have a completely different GUI and it’s different than what I’m doing here.
      So if you have a Mac grab it if you have a PC then I would not recommend.

      @@RutabegaFarmer Yes every one can be an “expert” now. It does create lots of confusion.
      I am a certified instructor and have been doing this for over a decade. You can have confidence in the things I teach.
      However I always say don’t be anyone disciple just be a good student. There is a lot of trial and error that goes into figure out your own voice. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. The mistakes are what will guide you to the solution. Hang in there and keep going.

    When a man loves a woman is NOT a Bolton song! It’s a Percy Sledge song from the 60’s which Bolton stole until he was forced to give credit to the original artist. The original was better anyway.

    • @vocalbooth8585
      @vocalbooth8585 Рік тому +13

      James… no one ‘stole’ the song. Bolton simply recorded a cover of it in 1991. Many vocalists had done covers before that (Bette Midler, Jimmy Barnes, Joe Cocker) and continued to do so afterwards. Why wouldn’t they? It’s a classic.
      To be precise, the song was written by Calvin Lewis & Andrew Wright and originally recorded by Percy Sledge in 1966. No one was ‘forced’ to give credit. The song belonged to Atlantic records and the original writers who were from the band ‘The Esquires.’
