Facts. Of course morons think that if you don't win a ring you can't be a legendary player. They have low iqs of course so don't pay attention to them. Ur right both are legends
Adds to the proof that Lebron is better than Jordan. We know Lebron is a good amount better than Charles. And Charles got a better stat line than MJ in his prime.
Kids these days only know of Charles Barkley as Chuck and think he's just some heavy set, washed up guy who only talks about the old days. Kids don't know what a beast he was. As good as he was here, I'm not sure he even peaked. I think his best years were in Phoenix.
Whats even more criminal is that he never played with a teammate as good as he was until he got to Houston. If he had a HOFer sidekick like how Jordan had Pippen, he might've won a ring.
@@spiidey1 That's not true at all. Barkley joined the Kj led Suns, who were a 50+ win team every yr 89-92, they went to two WCF. Kj was the better player & was more accomplished than Pippen going into the 92-93 season. Injuries slowed down Kj.
@@blo2706 KJ was great, and is one of the more underrated stars of his era, but he's not a HOFer teammate. Jordan had Pippen, Stockton had Malone (vice versa), Hakeem had Drexler, and Duncan had Robinson. KJ without injuries would've benefited their offense a bit more, but the Suns really needed a good shotblocker to deter people from scoring in the paint.
@@spiidey1 Kj should be in the HOF. My point was Barkley had help way before Houston, it's a myth Barkley never had help, he just had a small window of time with Philly & Phoenix. People seem to think the Suns were a one man show which is false, they were 50+ win team without Barkley. Remember Kj outplayed Barkley against Houston in 94 & 95. The Suns real problem was Kj & Barkley were never 100% healthy at the same time.
Again, in this day and age, had a star player dunked on another star player like Jordan did over Barkley @2:15 there would have been major showboating and posturing going on. But not Jordan. Not the GOAT. He dunks on his man and doesn't need to tell everyone about it. He KNOWS he's the best and shows restraint and sportsmanship by tapping the ball out of bounds for the defender to inbound and moves on. It may seem like a little thing but that means something. It's something that Barry Sanders knew as well. People naturally love a person who is amazing and doesn't need to tell you they just did something awesome. Wish more players these days were like that.
Well said David, I agree. For example, Jordan would never say that he's the greatest player of all time after winning his 3rd championship, like a certain somebody did, even though that player still lost 6 NBA Finals and got swept in 2 of those Finals. Jordan has more sportsmanship than that egotistical maniac.
Oh, it's not a little thing, especially for us older heads. We love the humble assassins. So damn true about the flexing and mean mugging in today's game - such a turn off. My favorite football player all-time (Ronnie Lott) would almost decapitate wideouts/runningbacks and would try to help them up. I loved that sportsmanship.
@@vexotimmer2675 Bron is just so damn insecure. Another of the many differences between him and MJ. Jordan was the most self-assured athlete I have ever witnessed. And James hears what the masses are saying - that he couldn't tie Mike's Air Jordans.

It's not even that Jordan was good, he had to be good night-in and night-out against the 80s/90s East. It was a gauntlet on that side of the country back then. (this particular Sixers team is not quite the great example outside of Barkley)
Always admired how Jordan would run back on defense after every play. LeBron scores and acts like it's a big surprise and he must stay at one end hitting his chest, and if he misses he stays down there to argue there should have been a foul called.
