+Kartik Jain His greatest weakness and strength is that he wore his heart on his sleeves. It made him a powerful force user, but it also left him vulnerable to those who wish to take advantage of him, like Palpatine.
"Everybody thought of Darth Vader was this big evil guy who had no heart, he was just evil. But in the end is not that at all i mean here's a guy who's lost everything" - George Lucas
I don't think Palpatine really did corrupt Anakin like people think. If you look closely, Anakin had tear streaks on his face after he "turned". He hated what he was doing, but Padme was all that mattered to him. He was willing to kill young ones, countless Jedi, and everything else just to save Padme. And when she rejected all he did for her because she feared what he became, he didn't kill her. She was alive, she had just "lost the will to live" because of what had happened to Anakin. He didn't truly become Sith at heart until Padme died, and Anakin isolated himself with the Empire. Anakin and Padme is one of the saddest, most iconic love stories I know of.
+Gavon Raymond Ever since he lost his mom, fear and hate struck inside of him corrupting his mind where you can see at :36. Yoda even says it at 1:20. But you're right, Anakin was willing to do whatever it took to protect Padme. The result was her death and the birth of the empire.
+Gavon Raymond "Anakin and Padme is one of the saddest, most iconic love stories I know of." - This is so right and maybe one of the things, which most of all star wars fans or watchers have never realized.
One thing you've got to give Hayden cudos for is looking angry and tortured whenever he slipped towards the darkside. I dont think anyone else could have portrayed that anger and hatred the way he did with just his facial expressions.
+fernando zelaya Take those last two shots at the end for example. The one where hes carrying his dead mother and looking around with hatred in his eyes, that image always lasted in my memory. And the one where he is killing Sand people. He was very good in expressing the rage, hatred, torture and fear in his face.
+fernando zelaya Take those last two shots at the end for example. The one where hes carrying his dead mother and looking around with hatred in his eyes, that image always lasted in my memory. +Anton Nzl I'm pretty sure a lot of other actors could have done it just as well. I'm not trying ot hate but saying no one else could portray him is kinda extreme.
Manuel C Because the directors who worked with him are dumbasses and couldn't pull a proper performance out of a fleshlight. Besides that, Hayden isn't the best Actor, but who could have suited Anakin better? I know that he can perform well, I have the utmost confidence, but without a good director people can't shine. That's all it was, bullshit direction.
It will be odd to see a Star Wars movie without Anakin Skywalker in it since the story is mainly about him, his rise, his fall, his redemption, and his legacy
"I've accepted the truth...... That you were once Anakin Skywalker, my father." "THAT NAME... no longer has any meaning to me....." "Oh, right... Sorry, Caitlyn."
The most powerful thing about Anakin's story is that he DID fulfill his destiny. He WAS the chosen one, the one to bring balance to the force. Even though he turned to the dark side he found redemption through the help of his son, and by killing The Emperor he fulfilled the prophecy. No matter how dark his path went, and how he took a complete wrong turn from his destiny he still fulfilled it at the very last moments of his life. His last actions redeemed a lifetime of sins. That's why he's one of my favorite characters of all time, many can relate to him. I'm a Christian and that lesson means a lot to me. Kind of like the thief on the cross. #ILoveYouJesus!!
The new movies destroy what anakin was meant to do. He was the chosen one to destroy the Sith. But now the sequel trilogy is coming out and the Sith are back... Ruins it...
Some people think that, but Anakin was the one to kill Darth Sidious and bring balance. The chosen one turns to the dark side, only to have the son he never knew he had help bring him back to still fulfill the prophecy over his own life. pretty deep lol
Darth Vader is a man suffering, he lost everything, his mother died, then his beloved wife died, he then betrays the jedi, then suffers years of hate and great despression over the death of Padme and i'm sad that people think hes a monster and a evil man but hes just a man who lost everything
+TheStefan1114ever she died during labor so it wasn't anakin's fault, but anakin is told that padme died when he choked her and he thought his child(ren) is also dead because of him so yeah
+Chintya C it kinda was Anakin's fault when he choked her she was near death but she was strong enough to go threw the pregnancy but in the end she died if anakin hadn't choked her she would've been still alive
+TheStefan1114ever officialy the emperor kill padme......that says star wars wiki and wookipedia, the emperor grav th force of padme and bring that force to darth vader......becouse he was dieing.
A-Ryan they said he will bring "balance to the force" he did even being darth Vader because he killed the emperor and himself with him and they defeated the sith so ankanin is always going to be the chosen one
+Clsyy The shitty script writing meant he didn't do a good job. That's no knock on Hayden, the only good performance IMO was Ewen Mcgregor's. Even Samuel L. Jackson struggled with his lines and he's an absolute ledge so that's saying something
+Alex Oxlade- Chamberlain I say they all did a good job, and I say Heyden also did a good job, as many criticize, as you say all struggled to do a good job... Sorry for my English
Anakin touches my heart. He first trained to become a Jedi with Ben Kenobi and Qui Gon Jinn in the first Star Wars, Yoda sensed some evil in him. Which is why about ten years latter in the second one you could sense some more evil in him, when he said "I will become the most powerful Jedi" he was right, he became Darth Vader at the end of part three. It gets more serious in the third one which is the most saddest movie I seen in my life. He betrayed Obi Wan Kenobi, Qui Gon Jinn and also Padme Amidala completely. He betrayed them by joining the dark side and never got to meet his own children. You are obviously aware of the scene where Obi Wan Kenobi said "you said you would destroy the Sith not join them" he never thought this day would come. Meanwhile while Padme was giving birth to Luke and Leia Obi Wan was probably thinking to himself "I can't believe the father isn't here to see his children being born because he joined the dark side, I can't believe it!"
I find it annoying that the Prequels received so much hatred. This may just be me, but I find them to be some of the best films out there.. Sure, they have problems. but they’re very enjoyable films to watch. You can see how Lucas wanted to put much more creativity into the prequels, and he did. It didn’t work in some areas, but I love the Prequels. (And if you haven’t already, check out “STAR WARS THE CLONE WARS”. It’s great to see the story between Attack of The Clones and Revenge of The Sith). Thank you very much if you read through all this, and have a fantastic rest of your day/night...
+Tristan Hartup Its funny... This video has me thinking... Nobody knows that vader turned back to the light side except for his son. Yet Kilo Ren is under the impression that vader died a sith. He thinks vader failed as a sith. So the question is what will Ren's thoughts be if he actually runs into Luke and luke spills the beans that Darth Vader killed the emperor himself. Will he still be a fan boy then ?
In episode I, Anakin was a fearful boy, in episode II, he was an angry young man, in episode III, he was a hateful man, and in episode IV-VI he was a suffering old man. "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, and hate leads to suffering." -Jedi Master Yoda
i think we can all agree that aside from how good we think the movies are, that the universe created and the imaginative possibilities are simply some of the greatest in science fiction to date.
If you think of Star Wars as the first 3 movies and as the story of Luke, it's really just a "fairy tale". If you think of Star Wars as the 6 movies and the story of Anakin Skywalker it really becomes an "epic", where his rise, fall and ultimate redemption is also the fate of the galaxy.
Of course he IS THE MAIN character.. When someone asks you what is star wars about my answer - its a tragedy of a jedi named anakin who loved too much..
Me toooo!!! Oh my god. I really cried. I hated Star Wars actually. But Hayden Christensen's charm made me love Star Wars. Basically I just watched to see him(so my first movie of Star Wars I watch was Episode II then Episode III, haha) and after that only I begin to love Star Wars slowly because I finally knew, the story is more than just about space ships and war. So, when seeing Anakin went to the dark side just because he loves too much, damn I cried.
"Monster are not borne, they are created!. Anakin's life was a tragedy, and though he was consumed and psychologically manipulated, he redeemed himself in the end, and brought balance to the force. I love the prequels, and that is purely because of Anakin Skywalker. He is such a complex character, and Hayden portrays him very well -especially in episode III. Luke is a classic hero, but Anakin has so much more to his character, plus he is so fucking badass! I agree that Hayden Christensen had some insecurities in Episode II, but he is flawless in Episode III, and deserves way more recognition than he got. There were some flaws in "The Phantom Menace" and "Attack of the Clones", but in my opinion, Revenge of the Sith" saved the trilogy, and i'd actually say it's the best Star Wars-movie of the entire saga. I truly hope that the rumors of Hayden Christensen/Anakin being a part of Episode VIII are true, because Anakin is, by far, the most interesting character in Star Wars :)
***** I get your point, and i agree. However, I think Anakin's reactions to his suffering, is just as realistic and "normal" as Luke's and Obi-Wan's.He goes another way, which isn't good, but it happens. Not everyone are strong enough to overcome the pain they suffer, and Anain is a great example of that. But remember, Anakin was also much heavier manipulated that Luke was, which makes his "situation" different.
+Rosita Mariposita the biggest difference between Luke and Anakin is that when luke was tempted by the dark side, first during the revelation from Vader, the second when Vader threatened to turn Leia, both times initially he almost embraced the darkness and pain, but in the end he gave in to the Force and was willing to sacrifice his own life. he trusted that the Force would not only save him, but save those that he loved. Anakin didn't have that trust, and it is why in the end although he redeemed himself he suffered for years for not letting the Force save Padme and save him.
Idc what anyone says, Hayden Christensen did just a superb job at depicting all the hatred and suffering he went through to try to attain the power to save his loves life in episode 3
I think the end where Anakin, Yoda, and Obi-Wan are together is perfect. It shows when they died, Obi-Wan and Yoda remain old aged because they remained on the light side, but when Anakin traded to the dark side he could have died then, because the legend of Anakin no longer exists, only Darth Vader does, so it shows when they all died as a Jedi.
all anakin tryed to do was save his pregnant wife and secure a future for him and his family and in the end he ended up suffering more then any planet or rebel soldier in the galaxy torn from the galactic civil war to some he may be the face of evil but really he's the face of suffering, sadness, redemption, and hopelessness George Lucas did a great job displaying that in the his movies I have a lot of respect for the prequels because it's more action packed and connects everything together
Great work - such many emotions in details! People may think about George Lucas what they want , but his character Anakin - including Darth Vader is most genius in this Star Wars Saga!
Omg man this is the 20th time I've seen this and I still get goosebumps and tears. What a sad story for Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. Regardless what people say about the prequel trilogy I still watch the third film all the time with the original trilogy and now I will watch the original trilogy, revenge of the sith, the force awakens, and rogue one together!!! That's again man such a touching video!!!!
This is what got me to Star Wars. This one video, and I can’t thank it enough for what it did. Without it, I would have never watched Star Wars. I watched this when I was 6. I just came to revisit this 8 years later.
+Afrojoebro That whole chosen one-stuff was pretty pointless in the movies though, I have no idea why George even put it in the movies. They all could have just said that Anakin was just pretty strong for a jedi and not any of that chosen one-garbage and it wouldn't affect the story at all. In summary, Anakin was made too important character than he really was if you get my meaning.
+No Name But Anakin Was an Important Character. because he did Bring Balance to the Force, and Did Destroy the Sith. Vader Didn't Destroy the Sith, Anakin did. When Vader threw Palpatine over the ledge, That was Anakin. Anakin had to turn to the Dark side to fulfil the prophesy, because of the rule of 2 that Yoda told Mace WIndu about at the end of The Phantom Menace. He had to defeat the master and the Apprentice. All Anakin Wanted to do was save the Person he love. And in the end he did Exactly that.
I always had the hots for Anakin Skywalker, such a tormented soul. He's by far my favorite character And Hayden Christensen portrays him well. Especially in Episode III with that long hair and those evil glares
This video and this song is 1 of the best cooperations I've ever seen. Remember first time when I saw this video as a kid. I had a goosebumps(from 1:39), then I felt some little pain in my chest(from 2:06), and then i had tears in my eyes(from 2:21). And then seeing in the end how Anakin saved Luke after the flashback on his 1 fight with Dooku was great. My favorite moment was when the music was calming down and there were a scenes from Anakin's life. This video is a masterpiece and it's one of that things, that made me love Star wars even to this day. Because when you see videos like this, you realize that it was not only about action and shooting and fighting... It was story, about one great character💛💛💛 Anakin Skywalker: The Chosen one🥇
this is so amazing it brought me to tears. I literally watch it over and over again bc I love Anakin and I love seeing his life from start to finish. in the end he really was the chosen one, and he never was bad! :....)
MindaugasLegend there's parts where you could see Hayden could really act and other parts where ur like this guy hasn't acted a day in his life . I feel that was more writing/him being told how to say things
Why did he have to become evil He had the women of his dreams Enough power And two children But I'm glad that in the end he realised that he'd done wrong.
I loved it so much that I started crying. It shows the truth of Anakin Skywalker, not as a monster but as a warrior who walked the line between light and dark, and fell. In the end, he finally stepped back to the light, proving that he was the true chosen one. He brought balance to the Force, and through unwillingly destroying the Jedi Order and the hundreds of Knights, bringing about a new era of light in the end. I cannot fathom the depths of Anakin, but I will say that he paid the greatest price for the salvation of the galaxy, losing everyone that he loved by inadvertently attempting to save and protect them. The death of Count Dooku, and the death of the Emperor, and the life of Anakin Skywalker truly had come full circle.
I like how they didn't really turn Anakin 'evil' as in he did what he did for the sake of being a baddie. I hate it when movies or shows have characters where they just want to bad for no particular reason. Anakin just like real life bad people, believed he was doing the right thing, just like real life, through misunderstandings, manipulation and unforseen events he was twisted into thinking the wrong thing was the right thing and I feel it results in spectacular tragedy
the fall of anakin and obi wan's friendship is honestly the saddest movie twist ive ever seen in any movie ever! it was pure brilliant, tear wrenching stuff
cr1msoN His life was so hard and sad bro :( when his mother died everything go off for him, he was misunderstood in the Jedi Council, no one accepted him. All of it contributed to act like this 😭. But he could redeemed himself and that’s heroic.
What would complete this would be Vader's melted mask from force awakens and Kylo Ren saying "I will finish what you started"...although this was made way before force awakens so all I can say is nicely done!
Growing up my 7 year old who just got his first VCR copy of Star Wars: Episod I, and later the rest of the prequels, found himself idolizing Anakin, wanting to become Anakin, with his flaws but also his values and search for answers, taught me to stand my ground and fight for those i care for. The Chosen One
This tribute is beatiful, I love it. Star Wars Episode 1, 2 and 3: The Fall of Anakin Skywalker. Star Wars Episode 4, 5 and 6: The Redemption of Anakin Skywalker. Star Wars 7, 8 and 9: The Legacy of Anakin Skywalker (Probably)
+Darth Micho George Lucas stated in an interview once that the story was always centered around Anakin. That was the idea. I love the way you put it though.
Episode 2n3 are my favorite. The love story really gives allot more depth to the hate in Darth Vader because he killed the only women he ever loved. And in the end we see something amazing. Anakin goes full circle by I believe letting his son win and destroying Vader the only thing he wanted was power but it took all his power to give up becoming Vader.
Anakin Skywalker's downfall and entire life in general is incredibly tragic. He like many others such as dooku, the separatist council, the senate etc. were just pawns in Palpatine's game.
All Anakin did was for love, probably the most epic love story ever. Most definitely my favourite character in Star Wars.
+Kartik Jain His greatest weakness and strength is that he wore his heart on his sleeves. It made him a powerful force user, but it also left him vulnerable to those who wish to take advantage of him, like Palpatine.
Still a better love story than twilight
+Kartik Jain "What is done out of love always takes place beyond good and evil." -Friedrich Nietzsche
mine too! :)
+Kartik Jain he kills younglings for love?

+Colin Huntley his performance was fine, it was the fucking dialog written for him that was the issue.

I don't care what the others say. Hayden did a great job playing Anakin.
Amélie G. I don't like sand.
Baraco Barner Yes that was a strange line :D but c'mon it didn't ruin the film.
+Amélie G. agreed, the problem was not the acting, it was the writing, lucas write a dark brooding shitty teenager and thats what hayden acted.
+Amélie G... He really did..
+Amélie G. Good and bad stuff, but on the whole I think he did a great job
Why does everyone hate Hayden? He's pretty good in revenge of the sith and has the mysterious vibe

Because his line delivery is so bad it makes me wanna turn to the dark side
He's a victim of poor script writing. He's a good actor and I've seen his other movies. Lucas just got lazy with the prequels
Abood Ash I've also liked him in Awake.
It will be odd to see a Star Wars movie without Anakin Skywalker in it since the story is mainly about him, his rise, his fall, his redemption, and his legacy
yeah
I guess not
I like prequels a lot more.
Hopefully his ghost appears in Episode 8 or 9

Yes ! Forever the best
A-Ryan they said he will bring "balance to the force" he did even being darth Vader because he killed the emperor and himself with him and they defeated the sith so ankanin is always going to be the chosen one
A-Ryan agree
i think it was him becoming Darth Vader that brought balance to the force because the jedi had unmatched power its yin and yang.
Yup
I thought Hayden played Anakin amazing honestly. Always was Anakin for Halloween when I was little
I agree with you

my favorite star wars character
He s so handsome

(i think it should be a book of the story of anakin skywalker/darh vader)
He is my favorite as well.

The prophecy was true, he did bring balance to the force.
yoda was hella right when he said "Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering" all of those things happened to anakin.
@Rocky // Docky and now they're saying the sequals are terrible.
TCW made the prequels more beautiful
TCW is a fantastic cartoon. Sure, the first few seasons are kinda childish, but I think they’re good no matter what age you are..
I very much enjoyed Force Awakens. Can’t wait for Episode 8...
they had some corny acting but overall they are meant for the original star wars fans. if you don't like the first ones u won't like the prequels
the greatest character story ever told
Prequel trilogy - Rise and fall of Anakin Skywalker
Original trilogy - Redemption of Anakin Skywalker
Sequel trilogy - Legacy of Anakin Skywalker

+stormtrooper 501st The Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise?
He is really the main character of the saga!
I agree
Henrique Oliveira He isn't 'really' the main character, he IS the main character.
Of course he IS THE MAIN character.. When someone asks you what is star wars about my answer - its a tragedy of a jedi named anakin who loved too much..
His whole story is just so sad and filled with horrow, from beginning to end :'(
IKR!! People be hating on the prequels but episode 3 is actually the only SW movie that made my eyes wet at the end :(
Me toooo!!!
Yeah me too :'( its sooo sad
Well said 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
***** I get your point, and i agree.
Anakin didn't have that trust, and it is why in the end although he redeemed himself he suffered for years for not letting the Force save Padme and save him.
well said to me episode 3 is the best cos it shows you the transformatiom from good to evil and his performing is amazing
gerardo P Im on the same page bro -Episode III is the best i the saga, by far :)
Idc what anyone says, Hayden Christensen did just a superb job at depicting all the hatred and suffering he went through to try to attain the power to save his loves life in episode 3
This makes me feel so emotional and the use of the music is superb. I also feel sorry for the vitriol directed at Christensen. He is not a bad actor.
I’m watching this 6 years later and still crying over it
Am i the only one who liked Vader's orgin story as Anakin?
The story itself was great but it was potrayed by the worst Acting and directing and dialouge I have ever seen
We need to make a petition for Hayden to be in Star Wars 8
Signed
+ellie rivera if as a ghost, then agreed. If as a clone like some fans are theorizing, then no.
I sign
i sign!!
GHOST ANAKIN!!! Signed even before the comment was made
Hayden as Anakin + Hans Zimmer's Time = pure pleasure! Thank you!
And I liked every comment below because they're so true! :D
It’s 2020 and I’m 15 and I’ve been watching this edit since I was 9. This video has a special place in my heart.❤️
You're not all powerful. "Well, I should be. I will be the most powerful Jedi ever.."
He's not the villain but the victim.
+Eli Skywalker Anakin has seen finally the price of his addiction of power and decided for mercy. He could let the emperor kill Luke But He didn't
I dont understand why this video doesn't have over 1 million views
Great work - such many emotions in details! People may think about George Lucas what they want , but his character Anakin - including Darth Vader is most genius in this Star Wars Saga!
Omg man this is the 20th time I've seen this and I still get goosebumps and tears. What a sad story for Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. Regardless what people say about the prequel trilogy I still watch the third film all the time with the original trilogy and now I will watch the original trilogy, revenge of the sith, the force awakens, and rogue one together!!! That's again man such a touching video!!!!
Sleepy Cerberus Same dude, Revenge of the sith was a great movie and one my favourites of all the SW episodes. Rogue one and Ep 6 is a tie.
This is what got me to Star Wars. This one video, and I can’t thank it enough for what it did. Without it, I would have never watched Star Wars. I watched this when I was 6. I just came to revisit this 8 years later.
same. this very video
Still the best Anakin video I've seen. Time by Hans Zimmer just makes it even more emotional.
This short clip was better than the new movie
This 5 minute video outshines force awakens and last jedi combined
Anakin's is a lot more awesome than Luke in my opinion. I honestly don't give a fuck if you disagree
Yeah honestly he's a much more complex character, and is less dull than the classic farm boy to hero Luke
Love you !
anakin is best
I agree. he's actually my favorite character throughout the whole saga. To see his arc grow from a cute innocent boy to a big bad villain was amazing.
cookiewilliams1990 totally anakin is better than any character
I always watch the movies and every time I hope that it ends differently and Anakin's life doesn't turn out so sad.
I was crying by the end of this :'(
The character with the most tormenting past in the Star Wars Saga
I'm feeling all kinds of sad right now
All kinds
I feel since he was the chosen one, he should've been trained under Grandmaster Yoda. Instead of Obi Wan. Things might've played out differently
Luke was trained by yoda good call
Clake844 Is there supposed to be a point in your post?
+No Name too important of a character? The Star Wars saga revolved around Anakin, of course he was important
Anakin is still the chosen one, he killed the sith.
He has allways been my favorite. He was my favorite jedi and my favorite sith as well.
I started crying.... This was so beautiful
Honestly the Inception soundtrack could make anything watchable.
Derek Zoolander oath
Episode 1 - A fearful young boy.
Episode 2 - An angry young man.
Episode 3 - A hateful man.
Original Trilogy - A suffering old man.
this is great, most people fail to realize that all 6 movies is about anakin and his legacy(luke and liea)
how to people fail to realize this?
This actually really well done. Made me tear up just a little.
I always had the hots for Anakin Skywalker, such a tormented soul. He's by far my favorite character And Hayden Christensen portrays him well. Especially in Episode III with that long hair and those evil glares
The tortured souls are always the hotter ones.
Even though I am very far from a tortured soul myself, I oddly find myself attracted to them.
In my younger days i was stronger than Luke but Luke was smarter and wiser...but you know it. Son is like a Father
Lord Vader you are the most powerfull Jedi/Sith ever.
Star Wars you are the best movie ever.
+Darth Vader xD
May the force be with you, even in death.
May the dark force be with you as well.Trust me,dark side is more powerful.Faster and stronger.Good when doing an exam. :)
No I'm not crying don't ask
It was story, about one great character💛💛💛
Anakin Skywalker: The Chosen one🥇
this is so amazing it brought me to tears. I literally watch it over and over again bc I love Anakin and I love seeing his life from start to finish. in the end he really was the chosen one, and he never was bad! :....)
I cry when I see pictures of Luke and Anakin. They look so similar to each other. Wonderful casting. Good video
I remember watching this 5 years ago and it still gets me emotional
visually he was perfect anakin, but his voice and dialogues made by producers for him, was ridiculous....
MindaugasLegend it's not his fault if they had better dialogue and writing then he would be better it's not the casting
but his voice sounded like 12 years old molested kid :D
MindaugasLegend no he doesn't
MindaugasLegend there's parts where you could see Hayden could really act and other parts where ur like this guy hasn't acted a day in his life . I feel that was more writing/him being told how to say things
When Padme died Anakin should've just killed Palpatine.
i love star wars so much i almost cry every time i watch it
Anakin deserved better
Why did he have to become evil
He had the women of his dreams
Enough power
And two children
But I'm glad that in the end he realised that he'd done wrong.
Because he was an asshole that's why.
***** wow. That took my breath away
he feared losing all of them, everything he did was for love 😭
Hayden Facial expressions is awesome , you can feel the anger , the pain , the hate, and the good at the same time
Man this is fucking beautiful who made this
Kellen fairbanks thanks for being a smart ass
Chris Martinez Well Chris ain't wrong
The death of Count Dooku, and the death of the Emperor, and the life of Anakin Skywalker truly had come full circle.
wow your comment is deep ...why dont u write like that in writing class son!?? just sayin :)
People fail to realize that at the time of Anakin's betrayal the Jedi were just as corrupt as the sith
Kobe Bryant Why do you think Yoder didn't necessarily train luke the original jedi ways.
the fall of anakin and obi wan's friendship is honestly the saddest movie twist ive ever seen in any movie ever! it was pure brilliant, tear wrenching stuff
MrBlizzard99™ seriously they were like brothers
One of THE BEST Star Wars videos I've seen
this video hits my heart.
+Captain Rex I mean, you _were_ his right hand man throughout the entire Clone Wars. I'd be shocked if it didn't
CDRomBeta it's sad that Anakin joins the Dark side :(
cr1msoN His life was so hard and sad bro :( when his mother died everything go off for him, he was misunderstood in the Jedi Council, no one accepted him. All of it contributed to act like this 😭. But he could redeemed himself and that’s heroic.
What would complete this would be Vader's melted mask from force awakens and Kylo Ren saying "I will finish what you started"...although this was made way before force awakens so all I can say is nicely done!
argh man such an epic story and when the bit comes on when he says "I am your father" so dam epic! also great choice of music with hans zimmer
Love Star Wars. Love this video. Good job mate!
It’s sad to realize we will never get anything this good again
Growing up my 7 year old who just got his first VCR copy of Star Wars: Episod I, and later the rest of the prequels, found himself idolizing Anakin, wanting to become Anakin, with his flaws but also his values and search for answers, taught me to stand my ground and fight for those i care for. The Chosen One
Anyone still watching this 8 years later?
Anakin really was the chosen one. sure he did it the hard way, but none the less got the job done.
+Josh C From the boy racing pods to a dark lord. Who knew?
The Prequel Trilogy - Anakin
The Original Trilogy - Anakin/Vader and Luke
The Sequel Trilogy - Luke
Star Wars = Story about Skywalkers
(S)tar (W)ars ankin/Luke (S)ky(w)alker.
+Darth Micho the sequel trilogy have nothing to do with luke
+Daniel Castañeda The sequels will be about the legacy of Skywalker.
God I remember watching this as a kid
I was 6 when i see this at first time
Episode 2n3 are my favorite. The love story really gives allot more depth to the hate in Darth Vader because he killed the only women he ever loved. And in the end we see something amazing. Anakin goes full circle by I believe letting his son win and destroying Vader the only thing he wanted was power but it took all his power to give up becoming Vader.
If I had a nickel for every time a body part gets cut off in Star Wars
I feel sad for darth vader
+Mohamed Hussein he has a very sad story...
Don't be...
+Anakin Skywalker had a major crush on you
This foo
+Jack Sparrow Why is rum gone?
I dont get why so many people dont like the first three star wars, or prequels.
MH Scratch I actually prefer the prequel trilogy
walid shaikh yeah! I think they're amazing!
MH Scratch Nostalgia. If the prequels came out first people wouldn't be hating on them IMO.
The first two sucks legit but Episode 3 is my second favourite Star wars movie.
I'm not sure which of the first three I liked most...the last one was good, but I spent my whole time watching it like: Annakin NO!
I have to add that I couldn't imagine anyone else act anaki n than hayden! !! he's special he did an amazing job! !!!!!! great man
This video couldn't have more perfect!
Anakin Skywalker's downfall and entire life in general is incredibly tragic. He like many others such as dooku, the separatist council, the senate etc. were just pawns in Palpatine's game.
But finally he released himself from the evil and triumphed over his pain...
Gotta admit, when I clicked on this I didn't expect to be wiping my eyes at the end.
Anakin lived a full life to understand life's mysteries you have to take a wider view of the world.
