Sure it was a big massive sacrifice that Revan did. But not too relatable. The most relatable thing I can think of to Revan is the soldier who come back from home changed after seeing so much shit. But even that is a stretch With Anakin though his change is more personal. It’s small little choices that end up resulting in this massive change. And honestly if any of us were to change alignments and go evil. That’s most likely how it would happeb
Anakin suffered his whole life & never had the chance to live his life the way he wanted. Died in his son’s arm smiling shows how relieved he was to finally escape that suffering.
Adeel2k11 But still... What's wrong with the writting? The point of the prequels were to show Anakins path to the dark side, and they did! And it was awesome.
Well... He had a good reason to care too much... He had a vision of his mother dying and she died. Then he had a vision of his wife dying so its very understandable why he was panicking
He was so scared of losing Padme, that would do anything to save her. He just didn't know, that it was _himself_ he couldn't save her from. Scorched and burned as his body may be, it pales in comparison to how deep the pain of knowing what he did is.
DODDERY RAGES Luke saves him figuratively ,he even says so in Return of The Jedi “Father I’ve got to save you “ -to in which Vader replies “you already have “
Yoda saw his future anikan experienced all of those in order fear for his mother hatred then hate for himself. Suffering because he was so depressed being vador. But the. There was regret in the end
well in my opinion it’s more like suffering leads to suffering. he suffered from his mother’s death, and then suffered even more once he turned to the dark side.
Tippotipo I agree, i feel like it was more like attachment that jedi should avoid, not emotion. Emotion in its purest expression, to love, not lust. To maintain balance, neither good or bad.
@@Tippotipo Dude, that's so fucking true and that's why Anakin brought balance to the force. He wiped out the Jedi who, just as the sith, misused the force. And then ending the last sith, ending all who misused the force thus bringing balance to the force.
The more times I watch Star Wars the more I feel for him. I've really only just realized that Anakin was a slave his entire life, up until the point where he was dying. What a sad ending.
It’s sad that he did all those evil things just to save his loved one and he ends up killing her as well, he was willing to do anything to save her. Anakin’s story is the most tragic love story of all time
He didn’t actually kill her. She died from a broken heart. Vader was correct when he said “she was alive, I felt it”. Sidious told him that he killed her to fuel his hatred and anger

Anakin says in the Clone Wars. "I'd never turn to the dark side willingly." He is turned by Palatine only because he wants to save his love...he became so lost and feared and his anger took control and he was known...as Darth Vader.
@@williamwinder3466 Have you considered those younglins were child soldiers and considered as traitors thus would get executed by the troopers under the enacted Order 66?
I’m convinced if Qui Gon wasn’t killed that he would have prevented Anakin’s transformation. He wasn’t as orthodox as the rest of the council and he could have helped him with his personal conflicts. Obi Wan was not ready to be a master yet, he had just finished his training when he took on Anakin. The fact that Anakin was the Chosen One and was given a brand new master to lead him is foolish of the council. Should have been a more veteran jedi after Qui Gon died.
I feel as if they made Obi-Wan his master on purpose because they feared Anakin's power. This was mostly because he was "too old" to be indoctrinated into the teachings. They didn't trust Anakin enough to give him someone more competent/experienced like Yoda or Windu or literally anyone else in the Council.
It’s so brilliant how they made Anakin the main protagonist to the Main antagonist, sometimes I still can’t believe that Anakin is Darth Vader. After watching clone wars it’s even more sad
And i agree mate, the problems the movies have where not enough to make me think otherwise, and now i like them even more seeing what fans are doing to highlight the subtleties those movies have.
I feel like Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones were two placeholders, all building up to Revenge of the Sith, all to my favorite Star Wars movie...
Being a young boy watching the phantom menace, attack of the clones and revenge of the sith all in theaters this is everything to me. I grew up with ani. It hurts and puts me in the feels to watch this so much every time
Anakins life is a sad story. He turned to the dark side out of love. Not personal gain. To save the woman he loved and the only one who offered to help him save her was the villain. His friends and mentors didn’t help him.
Because they were teaching Anakin to let go to accept that the people he loves will die someday and that he shouldnt be controlled by anger and fear. Anakin would've done anything to just save Padme if that isnt true that why did he have to slaughter children. Also he would've betrayed the Jedi either way even if they helped because sooner or later they couldnt find a way to save Padme and thus him running out of options turns to the dark side
Follower 8 Wrong, he lost Padme because of fear, his dream were possibilities of what could happen because of his own choices. Had he not turned to the dark side he would have never choked Padme
Losing a mother is one of the hardest and most painful things a boy can go through... They will always remain with you so fight to become the man you should be and not lose to the man you became, for me this is the story of Anakin and Luke and a reason I love SW so much.
I agree as I lost my mother back in 2018 to ALS. Although I have moved on(was a complete reck that year in 2018) feel I have never quite been the same & miss her terribly to this day, so I cam empathize with Anakin’s loss in Star Wars…..
Anakin had everything. He was the "chosen" one in prophecy, like the prophesied Christ child. Amazingly, Anakin rebelled. Anakins story more closely resembles that of Lucifer when he was still a loyal angel in God's [The Force's (?)] Government/Kingdom. At some point Lucifer turned to the Dark side, becoming the Creator and architect of the Dark Side. The difference is that Anakin was saved later on by Luke.
He wanted power, he wanted it all and it seemed Anakin didn't have patience to wait for it for it to be given to him. He lusted after it. He even lusted after Padme breaking one of the Jedi's code's about not dating. Anakin committed SIN!
@@bulldog2173 I know a lot of people slagged him off but Hayden Christensen was Anakin, when he screamed "I HATE YOU!" at Obi-Wan as he slid into the lava, powerful stuff.

actually they both saved themselves as Luke figuratively saved Anakin from the dark side and Anakin saved Luke from Palpatine by throwing him in that hole
The story of Anakin has to be one of the saddest stories you'll ever see developed on film. From a boy taken away from his mother, losing her when he could have protected her, receiving no help from the Jedi counsel on his emotions and allowing himself to fall to the darkside just to save the woman he loved and children he didn't know yet. After watching the prequels and then watching the scene where palpatine is about to kill Luke it brings deeper emotions that Anakin was not able to save Padme, but he could still redeem himself by keeping that promise "I won't let it happen again". No matter how far he fell into the Dark he never forgot the true purpose of allowing himself to fall saving padme and his children
Samir Boodan I feel when Palpatine wanted kill Luke, Vadet probably thought Palpatine was right. He now has the power to save the ones he love from dying.
Darth Sidious manipulated everything up to that point, but the one thing he never predicted was the Father's love for his Children. The only part of Padme he had left.
Anakin story is a heartbreaking tragedy. I can't help but crying. I believe the council abandoned him and they get to him to late, he had so much pain inside and no one saw it. He will always be my favourite, I couldn't get over his tragedy.
Fun fact well no not fun The reason R2d2 never left Lukes side on dagobah when finding Yoda was because his last Master Anakin when he said R2 stay at the ship never came back People don't realise R2 also had a tragic story GOD BLESS✝️ REPENT HAVE A GOOD DAY I PRAYED FOR YOU

Its sad to see how someone could lose so much. Lose everything, and at the same time become the most hated person in the whole galaxy. All because he cared so much. 😭😥😩
You know that is possible because he is a spirit now just like obi Wan and qui gon and Yoda and Luke now, so they could make a star wars episode IX: soul revival which would be about how anakin came back to the light side and fixing everything and therefore Rey making herself useful and with some kind of ritual give Anakin a second chance, and bring him back to the normal world
SanPanta he attempted to care for the ones he loved through gaining power. The dangerous side to the concept of power is that there isn’t a limit of it that you can have. Like Heisenberg, they both started out trying to gain power for the sake of their families , but then slowly morphed into selfish tyrants who sacrificed their families to gain power for the sake of gaining MORE power. That’s the sad part.
thats so true. Anakin was in conflict with a lot of the Jedi teaching. and Qui Gon sometimes went against it willingly (like insisting to make Anakin a Jedi) without turning to the dark side.
You guys think maybe if Anakin was trained properly by a better master, then he would've had a purple lightsaber like Mace Windu? Let me explain. Mace's purple lightsaber signifyies that he is a Jedi who harnesses some of the Dark Side's power and uses it for his own advantage. So maybe Anakin could've learn how to control his anger like Mace Windu if he was trained properly.
Watch “Anakin Forgets”, then come back and watch this. After doing both it nearly brought a tear to my eye. This is the true story of Star Wars, the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker. Powerful.
Anakin will always be my favorite character of Star Wars he literally just lost his battles wit his demon but his intentions of going to the dark side was still pure that’s what’s crazy I can’t do nun but respect it
LEE Blenderiano I figured not. Its not a story the Jedi would tell you. Its a sith legend. Kathleen Kennedy was a dark lord of the sith so powerful and so wise she could use the force to influence the midchlorians to seduce George Lucas into selling star wars to Disney. She had such a knowledge of the darkside, she could even keep the political agenda she cared about from dying.

The most relatable thing I can think of to Revan is the soldier who come back from home changed after seeing so much shit. But even that is a stretch

Should have been a more veteran jedi after Qui Gon died.
that's one of the main plot points of TPM. It's funny how people are just now realizing the greatness of the prequels.
Qui Gon could of saved anakin’s mother from Slavery but he chose not to.
There's a reason why the soundtrack for the final fight is Duel of the Fates, it was a duel for Anakin's fate and they lost.

He wanted to protec; he was forced to attac

The religious analogy also relates to the Galaxy and the entire universe where those events took place.
