Two points. Were Bach, Mozart and Beethoven really thinking about colonialism while writing their music? Also early on the question was posed as to why classical music organizations are so favorable of zion@zis. You later answered the question with funding. Here in the US donations make everything happen and these people see themselves as gods and everyone else is a lowly animal so they have no problem calling the people that run such institutions and making their demands.
@@txsphere the point on the composers is very true; I highly doubt they were but I’m not very educated there. The music itself is wonderful; but everything else about the industry is so colonial. Even just by looking at which countries have the best orchestras, and then in smaller countries, who set up their orchestras. There’s a lot of “Royal” somethings in countries like Ireland 👀 The funding thing in the US is insane. Europe generally has some sort of state aspect to it at least. Id love to do a deep dive on shady US orchestral diners
