    This isn't traditional Alfredo which is only pasta water, butter, and parm. But we love it this way. If you came to tell me that, you win the internet today. As always the print recipe along with process shots is linked above. Thanks for watching and liking my videos!

    I have only watched 2 minutes so far but I just want to say thank you for adding grams to the ingredients. As someone who's watching from Germany, I almost always had to look up some of the measurements (like Cups or Ounces) so that really helps a lot! By the way, I don't think you need to add grams for stuff like Salt or Herbs, only psychopaths would measure 2 grams of Herbs and I think every kitchen has teaspoons :D

    • @Dwynfal
      @Dwynfal 2 роки тому +1

      Indeed, and I appreciate the metric a lot too!
      If need be some things can be measured by volume in ml instead of g! 1 cup = 237ml and that's usually rounded to 250ml to keep things simple!

In comparison to James, he wasnt honest at all, always scored it at 10, even now he always tell me its awesome, with tears in the eyes bcs sometimes i put a little extra heat (like Jalapeno, he hates spicy food xD).

    I use a digital scale that goes to 0.01g in the kitchen along with a regular kitchen scale. I get super accurate with small quantities for bread making mostly. Amazon has these scales. And 1 TBSP of parsley is 4g, just sayin. I love that you are really cooking and its not scripted. You include the errors and always say it will be fine. That is after all what cooking is all about. Messing up and learning how to fix it, or just going with what you have. Your show is 'real' cooking and it's perfect.

    I love these simple, easy and quick recipes. I think you have the best cooking channel on UA-cam by far. Looking forward to seeing new postings every week. It's also nice seeing the family joining in on a taste test along with James from time to time. James knows what he likes, adding pepper before giving the dish a score of 10. Nice James!! Thanks for sharing.
