  • Deep down we know that subconscious beliefs formed in childhood can shape our behaviours. These can be good or bad; we can either have incredible self-belief because we were made to feel like anything is possible, or the opposite.
    And as the Henry Ford saying goes: “If you believe you can, or believe you can’t, either way you’re right”.
    This week’s conversation with hypnotherapist Anna Lancaster uncovers the power of the mind in both our mental and physical state. She discusses how she helps clients overcome issues that we all face; such as lack of confidence, success blocks, fears, phobias and relationship problems, by addressing subconscious beliefs that may be holding us back from achieving our goals.
    Anna also explains the role of visualisation in healing and how positive thoughts can trigger the release of healing chemicals in the body - something she believes helped her heal from a traumatic spinal injury.
