Another excellent review, Arthur. Your reviews are very well thought out. I love the way that you share the menu, display the menu item on the screen that you are reviewing, share the bill, great job ordering authentic dishes. When I get back up there for a visit, your videos are worth reviewing for places to eat for sure.
Thanks for the kind words! I'm really glad that you find these helpful. A real challenge it to go through menus quickly. Chinese menus are usually gigantic, but luckily this one wasn't. :)
I live just lve15 miles from the Manitoba border. The closest 'Chinese restaurant ' is 20 miles away that I like is run by Vietnamese. Also there's also Laotians here and a Laotion American restaurant
Hi Arthur, I went to Eatery 19 yesterday (12/18/24) with my son for lunch. We arrived about 12:45. The doors were locked and the lights were turned off. I checked the sign on the front of the restaurant and is said that they were open every day for lunch and dinner. Not sure what happened yesterday. I'll try again in the future.
@@minutereviewshow Strange, but their website says open every day (so did the sign on the front door). 😊 No worries, I will try them again in the future. I want the chicken dish that you reviewed!!! Looking forward to your next review! Also, have you tried Pig Heaven on Upper East Side? They specialize in Pork Ribs and everything pork.
Splendid review...food looked delicious...thought the 3 cup chicken was a dish made from 3 sauces 🤔 (soy sauce, sesame oil l forgot the last one 😂)...have a great weekend...Happy Holidays to you and the family, viewers and subs...have a healthy and prosperous New Year 🎉❤😊
Actually, it’s Soy Sauce, Oyster Sauce, and shao xing wine. Seasoning is white pepper and sugar. The aromatics are ginger, Garlic, sesame oil and then basil for finishing it.
@@jadehom8067 I mean that’s the recipe my Taiwanese friends gave me when I asked. They’re all pretty much similar. Some may omit the oyster sauce and others may add dark soy. It can be 3 ingredients, but I feel it won’t be the same. But I guess it’s just a matter of preference.
@gotrice101 true, like you said, it might be a preference thing...but to me soy sauce and oyster sauce would be was too salty for me, but thx for clarifying it for me...Happy Holidays to you and the family...have a healthy and prosperous New Year ❤😊
Wonderful video. Taiwanese food is so underrated. The advantage of Long Island is that it’s basically a mystery in that even many New Yorkers don’t know about it. So as a result there can be some really good secret spots
You’re cantonese just like me, we should collab.😂😂😂 For Taiwanese I usually trek out to Elmhurst Taiwan Gourmet. But now that there’s one 15 min from me, I’ll probably hit this place up to try it. Thanks for the review. The 3 cup chicken at Taiwan Gourmet has been lacking lately. And Gushine in Flushing closed. But that one on 48th Ave in Bayside been alright.
Wow what a feast!!!
Glad you came to Nassau County. Definitely alot of food to test their Taiwanese Cooking Skills!

Hi! I used to work in a Chinese take out in Hicksville called Mee Wah in the 60s. Basically good Chinese American food!
What's your favorite Chinese restaurant now?

Hi! I just checked google and it appears they're closed Wednesdays, but open from 11:30am to 9pm the rest of the week.

@gotrice101 I actually Googled it for the actual Taiwanese recipe...it's soy sauce, sesame oil and rice wine 😊🙊

@ramencurry6672 I think you need to move back up!

I got to review those places too!
I've eaten there several times. Great place and good duck!
Now that you mention duck, I must return! Thanks!
@minutereviewshow my kid used to go to the mathnasium next door so I know that place well. Good choice for a review!
I haven't been there in a while. I just checked their menu. No duck? Maybe they stopped serving it?
Now i feel like eating 3 cup chicken!
Try master huang in auburndale!
Thanks for the suggestion! On my list!
