Nice, I’ve seen your car on UA-cam before. I’ve got a stage 2 FBO 535i, looking to go big turbo setup eventually, but I’m PWG, so debating port injection or helix 🤔
Personally I would do a stage 2 hpfp but I am bias. Dorch engineering has come out with so many support modifications that focus on utilizing the stock configuration and still having more then enough flow to keep up with these big turbos we keep throwing at these cars.
@@Inhouseperformance I have not found stage 2 HPFP for my car, I have a 2011 535i, so have the continental planetary HPFP - there seems to be no replacement for these aftermarket

Good luck with the build and let us know if theres anything we can supply or help you with!
Hey Tyler, so glad youtube algorithm showed me this video, there's not much information on modding the 535i, or the f10 in general and I've been thinking about buying one as I love the f10 chassis the most. Thanks for all the info shown and explained in the video and I can't wait for the channel to grow more. When buying one, what pitfalls did you look out for?
just came across your channel, I just picked up a f10 535i x-drive M sport and was looking into what upgrades I can do. It says that it also has the M sport power kit not sure if that affects any upgrades I do.
Car looks good! I’d be interested in knowing more about the air suspension. I was literally just about to purchase UAS solution series kit for my F10. BTW - pretty sure your rear sway bar is installed upside down!
@@Inhouseperformance glad I didn't order the intercooler when you sent the link. It dropped to just under $200 now, so I just ordered it. Thanks again!
Yes now I have. I did both of those on my recent build of the motor. Also replaced the pistons and rods with forged Manley components. Check out My other videos.
Subscribed! Very clean f10, I remember seeing your car in the N54 Magazine video. Keep the videos coming, I'm looking forward to seeing the dyno video. The intake is definitely the way to go, I have the BimmerHausPerformance behind grill intake and love mine. Is there a reason you didn't pick that up? The piping on this looks to be a slightly smaller.
@@Inhouseperformance Cool. Well keep us updated. Also, checkout my channel when you have a chance. I cover my f10 535i build as well. I am FBO and waiting on the F55 FrakenTurbo to release so I can catch up with your power level. Also, shopping for new wheels. 😂
Hey, Subscribed. I like the intake. I see you replied to Grant who has mine as well, more power to you! That's great! I'm actually going big frame under mount turbo soon so I'll be updating mine. I'm also in version 2.x on mine, it's a lot of work to perfect it! I noticed in your video you don't have a MAF or I couldn't see it, are you just running that in closed loop?
Does your gplus intercooler handle cooling all that boost? Mine is now starting to run a little hot now running ps1 and custom David Shoup tune. Probably about 15 degrees hotter than outside temps. It used to be about 8 degrees difference on mhd 2plus.
I have a Rev 9 which is basically a Gplus and it does fine but I also live in Arizona and I also compensate with Meth injection. During the summer intercoolers are only going to help so much. I recommend everyone uses meth on their charge pipe to bring down your IATs. Cheap and affective way to get all your power to the wheels.
@@DJ-lc1en on E50 23-24psi at around 4200rpms I think but Cary built a slight taper into the boost through out the RPM which helped keep the turbo happy with higher wgdc to achieve the higher boost values. You could run 22-23 psi pretty consistent from 4200-6200 with that turbo
I’m about to fit style 469M X5 wheels to my F11. Rear offset is 2”x11 ET37 so I am 5mm wider than you. Am trying to figure out whether to go for a 295 or a 285. Have you had any issue with rubbing with a 305?
The cost of the m5 after mods would be way more than. Then you add in the reliability factor of the 535 too, anything breaks its easier/cheaper to fix. Maintenance on the m5 isn't cheap, parts aren't cheap and repairs...😩 Especially if it's the timing chain. Even the 550i is an expensive car to maintain or repair but I rather go with that v8 or the 650i v8 over the 535. Repair shops see the M badge and are for sure going to tax you. I had to learn to repair my n54 on my own because any time I took it in to a "complete care" shop the quote was always $1,400. Auto trans cooler and hose placement, upgraded control arms, belt and pulleys, the price was always 1400 just because I look young and they thought I was an idiot with money. They wanted 6k to replace the front and rear subframe only PLUS labor
@@Osamabeenleanin210 I had an 2008 E60 550i and it needed valve stem seals so I decided to take it to the dealership out of curiosity then they quoted $24,376.13 for the repair talking about it's an engine out job so it's gonna cost $16,000 in labor lmfao 😂😂 I told them at the time that I could literally buy 2 more of the same car for that price of the repair lol

Im getting an m5 style bumper i believe its the one you have on your 535 but what type of lip did you use, ive already done a fair amount of performance to my 535i, doing some cosmetics, but for the lip, I cant use a standard 535 lip so did you use one from an M5, I dont know how different the dimensions of the M5 differ from the 535, but just curious because I dont want to go through the hassle of ordering and having to return different lips, so what lip do you have on your bumper? is my question

Yeah Im not really worried about being super low when I lay it out just more convenient with driving around town and still being really low. Another thing is the aftermarket front bumper is lower to the ground then the stock bumper by at least 1.5” maybe more so I wont have to lower the front a bunch to lay out the bumper.
