Thatll take some time but lets just say with the new setup with engine build and transmission build and doing all the work myself minus the transmission build Ive spent 14k. Previous to the new setup minus esthetics like wheels and bumpers and stuff and just performance parts and tunes and dyno days I think I was roughly 10k into it. Again this is just parts cost as I do all the work myself.
Great build so far. When building the engine I would consider porting the head due to the low flowing head of the n55. In my opinion this is the down fall of the n55 besides their small turbos and weaker internals. Looking forward to your build and progress in the N55 platform.
Is this car catless? On Carys website just says he wont work on cars with modified downpipes, just curious on how its working out on your car! Great build!
I wont answer that flat out but I will say my car is registered to our home in Arizona and in the county where our home is there is no emissions as you can drive sand rails and off road vehicles on the street that have no emissions equipment. 😜
Im literally doing the same thing as you with my 2013 f30 335i pwg. So I'm glad i have someone i can watch and get support from on pushing the high power numbers I'm currently on old ps2 with 500hp, forged internals , same vtt crank hub curious to see how your trans holds up in the future :))
@@Inhouseperformance Lol, I gotcha. How many miles on your car? I am planning to replace solenoids and seals in my transmission. Hopefully, that will help support the additional power and extend the life.

Ok because i have a F10 535 Also i just got at auction 6 months ago and i didnt even drive it yet debating if i should make it a daily with bit of pep (600whp) now i have a question for you...i want to do it once only (as far as tutbo upgtade) should i do a single big or should i do oem big and by single big i mean 6466 vband (i really dont like how close the turbo is OEM placement to the head of engine for the amount of heat it makes. Ive had my 6466 turn red on my Evo and i wouldnt want a oem placement turbo turning red on my bmw being that close to the head / block. sayingthat i would like to do drop in pistons rods bearings maybe some cams springs / retainers if they haveanythign i havent fully done reasearch on the head yet. how much TQ do the transmission take and when i say take i mean down shift hitting it on the highway a few times per day. i dont mean leaving it on D and pressing gas i mean holding the gear and hitting it at 5000rpms... i dont want to turn this car into my evo so i need it to stay together ...what hp / tq numbers will it stay together with VERY GOOD MAINTENENANCE drop in pistons rods bearings thank you
Honestly 600 whp in this car will no longer make it reliable. I think after 620ftlbs of torque you in danger of bending rods and the transmission wont be able to handle it. I had 525whp and was already experiencing transmission issues even with XHP flash and line pressure increase and so on. Pure stage 2 is as reliable of power you will get. On these engines once you start throwing more power so much has to change and Im coming from experience.😊
Hey for the next video, I’m guessing your shooting on an iPhone, go into the camera settings and switch to 16:9 instead of the current square ass 4:3. This ain’t the early 2000s anymore lol 😂😂
I have a B58 in my X5 that my GF drives lol. It tuned with a downpipe and intake but everyone is building those now. Id rather go into no mans land then a land everyone has already discovered. Thats just me tho

Trans was built by jacks transmissions so should easily handle 750whp as I also upgraded to the billet E Hub
Looking forward to the next content, it's a shame about the cv axles. Seems to be a decent weak point and haven't seen any "upgrades" for them either.

Just wondering what boost was pure stage 2 getting up to? And what did it hold to redline?
23-24psi and no not till redline. It starts to taper off around 6200 rpm so around 20psi at redline
What fuel were you running with ps2 to get that boost?

20x10 27 offset in the front with 255/35/20. 20x11 47 offset in the rear 305/30/20

I rolled my fenders and still some light rubbing. The wheels I got from my friends over at Variant wheels.

Downpipes, intake and a stage 1 or 2 tune would do that car good and get some good reliable power.

I wouldn’t waist money on the n55 , I would get rid of it and get the b58.
