- How to change out your cabin air filter in the 2021 Toyota Sienna. I used the Fram CF12157 which you can get on Amazon with this link.

Whole job takes about 5 min.
Cameras I use:
DJI Action 2 - amzn.to/3uukoyG
Canon M50 - amzn.to/37AMTSn - Авто та транспорт
Dealer wanted 100 bucks. This video made it 12 bucks for two.
That’s a win!
camerawork shows the details clearly. Thanks!
Happy to help dude!
@DadDoingStuff yeah, it was easy. The STP engine air filter doesn't fit, after 3 tries. See you other video.
My local dealership wanted $90 for this. Thank you!
OMG! $90 is ridiculous!
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
Happy to help Mark!
Always good to know how to change these for 10$ instead of like 80 at your dealer
Most definitely!
TYSM for this! Your tips were very helpful ☺️
Very happy to help!
You explained this DIY very well. Thanks.
Happy to help!
Easy to follow! Thank you! I’ve used a washable K&N VF2054, a little tricky to align the rubber seal with the middle fin, but appears to be a solid filter overall.
Heck yeah! Reusable is even better!
Thank you! This is super helpful. I followed the video in the AutoZone parking lot LOL
All great car maintenance happens in the Autozone parking lot! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Great video. This was easy as a walk in the park.
Thank you sir! Happy to help!
Thanks to this video I was able to do it all by feel seated in the passenger seat.
👍🏼
Right on Toby!!
This was really helpful and easy to follow. thanks
Very glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
Thank you. Done in about the time it took to watch the video.
Haha! I love it. Thanks for taking time to comment!
Love the barf bag in the glove box.
It’s a pro move for parents! 🤮
Thanks for the nice instruction. Easy.
Happy to help!
Much better design than my nissan
Yeah some cars it’s a real pain to get to. This one was definitely well thought out.
cool 🎉thanks for your videos brother ❤❤❤thanks again
Thanks for watching!
Thank You 🙏 ! Good luck !
Happy to help!
Just wanted to say my 22 sienna XLE AWD is doing fantastic.
I realized the vibrating second row seats was because I folded the third row forward (not stowed) and they were pushing against the middle captains chairs.
I’m averaging 41 mpg at 1700 miles !!!
That’s amazing mileage!! Right on!
Question from another viewer. Does your XLE have power folding side mirrors? Thx!
@@DadDoingStuff no. Just power adjusting mirrors.
I’ve noticed people get confused when it says power side mirrors.
Toyotas description would say “power folding mirrors” if I remember correctly.
@@americandude3825 thanks a ton!
Good job!
Thanks, much appreciated!
Nice job. I used the same fram cf12157 but when I put in the tray one side towards the front won’t sit flush down I need to adjust little and then it will sit down all the way
Will be curious to see if it was just a one-off filter that was a bit misshapen?
Thank you!
Happy to help dude
Thank you
Happy to help!
Thanks!
Happy to help!
Thanks alot
No worries! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
Useful thanks....
👍
I love the vomit bag, you know you’re a parent when you roll with several of those on the ready.
It’s my wife…..between the van and her purse, she can produce just about anything you could need on a road trip!
@@DadDoingStuffmy wife makes our minivan feel like a mini Cooper. Although I’m guilty too. 🙋🏻♂️On top of the vomit bags she brings in the driver side OEM cargo bin.
1.Full change of clothes for the family in vacuum sealed compression bags.
2. Portable John pee container
3. Water/trash bags
Passenger side oem bin (my side)
Compressor
Road side emergency kit (tools/lights/gloves/etc)
I always have a trauma kit in addition to a regular first aid kit. And recently added a 18L 12V fridge for drinks 😀😬 with a battery under the bridge console.
There’s a ton of space behind the spare so I’ll be putting road side things in there to try to consolidate.
@@TobyCostaRica You win. That’s totally next level! 😂
Easy enough a housewife can change it (and did) :) Thanks for the helpful video.
Haha! Right on, glad to help!
Kool. 😎

Hi, I know you have Sienna 2021, unfortunately not too much info for these new 4th generation vehicles yet, but I need you to do me a favor please if you can? I bought Sienna 2021/xle but was involved in crash and missing many parts in front. Do you know if I need to buy Headlight modules on each side if so, where are located exactly? Thanks
Are you wondering where to purchase the headlight modules?
@@DadDoingStuff Actually, little confused about headlight modules, 'cause some sellers on Ebay told me you don' t need modules because they have already built-in chip in the headlight itself. So, why are they module sales on market for this model 2021. "Could be Two different types of headlights" for this model 2021/XLE.
Which one i need to buy.
By the way, one seller of headlight also told me only Limited& Platinum trims come with external headlight modules! Not sure if this is true or not.
Do you have enough info 'cause i wasn't able to verify his statement when searched online.
Thank you
Sorry for the delay. In short, from what I can tell, yes, the Limited and Platinum headlights do have another control module as part of the assembly. That assembly is called “Headlamp w/Signature Lighting”. The XLE does NOT use signature lighting. For your particular model, the Left side is part 81150-08130 and the right side is part 81110-08130. Hope that helps!
Fram fresh breeze CF12157 are there any other brands that would work?
amzn.to/3Qu5vEh
amzn.to/3BrVByN
Both of those should fit as well.
Hi,I am in the dealer and having my service. They want to charge me 162 for the Cabin filter and engineer air filter change. Thanks for your video. Save me a lot of money! Can my 22 Sienna XSE Hybrid use the same filter or different?
Same filter in 2021-current model year. Glad to help you save some $$! 😃
Have you replaced the engine air filter on this one yet?
Not yet.....but just about to and I will for sure do a video on that.
What seat covers are those?
Those were some kind of cheap ones off Amazon that my wife got. I finally convinced her to get rid of them!
How often do you change that filter?
I think that honestly depends where you live and how dusty the outside air is. I’ve only changed it once so far, and we’ve had the van about 19 months now. I think once a year is probably acceptable for most places. But probably 6-8 months if you live in a particularly dusty area or spend more time on dirt roads. Hope that helps!
@@DadDoingStuff yes thanks love the videos
How often do we have to change it?
Depends where you live, but I think 1-2 per year.
Why didn’t you go with a k&n ? Just curious why the Fran?
I’m too cheap to pony up the $$ for K&N. They have good stuff, but so pricey!
okay just saved me $50 on filter change by dealer
Winning!!
@@DadDoingStuff Thank yoy
dealer charges me $120 to replace that filter...
That dealer should be holding a gun and wearing a ski mask. Because that’s robbery!!
Thank you
