Love your videos man. Thea fascinating things about these modern headlights are the very different and unique approach and design between each manufacturer. Even those thay you mention as simple like the CX-5 does not look generic.

Firstly thanks for sharing these breakdowns, they're great! I wanted to know whether its possible to re-align the projectors on Sprinter LED Headlights? I have one that for some reason is angled down and isnt level in the unit. The auto-leveling is working and moves the projectors but the center point is too low. Just curious if this will be an easy thing to repair myself (maybe there is a track on the inside) vs junking the entire LED headlight unit.
Sadly, 2022 Sprinter LED headlights are insanely difficult to source right now.

There are generally a few things that I've seen cause this.
      1. the leveling sensor on one of the wheels is bad/sending an incorrect value. The headlight is adjusting to a position that it thinks is level because of the height sensor.
      2. the controller on the light is faulty and not correctly moving the light internally
      3. the the internal brackets have slipped on the gear so it's further down than it should be.
You might try to play with the manual adjustment screws on the light to see if you can bring it higher or you might check out your ride height sensors for any obvious physical damage.
My guess is probably #1 or 3 in your case as it sounds like it's trying to do something. So that makes me think it's either physically in a different spot than it thinks it is or something is giving it false height data, so it's trying to aim down to not blind oncoming traffic.
Those are the basics you can start with. If it is #1, replacing the headlight won't fix your situation.

@@gftgrill I alao suspect it is #3 as the leveling sensor is working as expected and already tried the manual adjustors. Will report back when I am back at my workshop. Have a happy Christmas 🎄

@@gftgrill its the white adjuster plug that isnt set within the led frame correctly. It was flopping around. I used some pliers to pull the frame back on and it popped in a bit more but doesnt seem possible to get it all the way back in. After I did that, now I have no vertical adjustment 🤔 is there a safe way to remove the lens? At the moment I am doing everything via the rear port for the plugs.

@@bikesbeersbeats baking the headlight is generally the safest method to remove the lens. It does tend to be hit and miss with the newer German headlights with the black glue. That stuff can be really difficult to melt.
I've seen similar where you can't get one of the adjusters to thread when the other is at one extreme. Sometimes you have to adjust the 2 a little at a time to get them to seat correctly.
Worst case scenario that you have right now is that those plastic threads are stripped/cracked/broken.
