- Only 4 seconds of the time vortex in the latest Doctor Who trailer, and basically all reused... I'm hoping that's to avoid spoilers in the main series, after what RTD was saying about it.

I like this one. They took the classic clouds, added colouring, and put multiple vortexes in the back like how 13's was
I like that the clouds returned. It was my favorite part of the theme from Matt's era. You felt the danger
There's never any love for the series 5-7a theme. It's my all time favorite, not just because 11 is my favorite Doctor. It gives a sense of danger to flying through the Time Vortex. You can see the TARDIS struggling and being struck by lightning since they're defying the natural law of time must move forward. It looks like trying to navigate a tornado or hurricane.
It might not be as spectacular or nostalgic as some of the others, but I like that is gives weight and danger to the Time Vortex. Something we don't really see in other themes
Another thing you don't really see explored in the show are the things living in the time vortex.
I would've hoped to have seen a little bit more, because the current one is so dynamic and pretty, but at least it looks like they'll be carrying on with the vortex shots in a similar vein to how they were handled with Jodie Whittaker?

I hope im not the only one who thinks 2005-2009s vortex looks alot better
For me I think it's the motion blur and camera moves that make it feel a lot more artificial than previous ones. Especially the shimmy from one side to the other. Hopefully it gets workshopped more though, and maybe they'll learn more into the nebular aesthetic.

Unironically the chibnall era has the best vortex
Do you know how hard it is to create a fully 3d doctor who intro from scratch? Have you SEEN doctor who intros before? they always look cheap.
The new one most certainly doesn't look cheap, but it definitely has that hyper-clean Disney look, and unnatural camera animations. There also seems to be far less visual continuity. I still like it though.
