You missed this in TROY

- You missed THIS in Troy. In the famous fight scene where Achilles and Hector duel each other, the actors didn’t use stunt doubles. Brad Pitt and Eric Bana instead came to an agreement, where they would pay the other in cash for each strike that accidentally landed for real. The stakes were $50 for a light hit and $100 for a heavy blow. One actor got the better of it, as Brad Pitt had to pay Eric Bana $750 while Bana didn’t have to pay Pitt at all, but who actually got the better deal?

Missing the behind the scenes stuff isn’t really our fault bro
Except when you first watch the movie in theaters or on TV….
Hahahaha I was thinking the same thing.
Was gonna comment the same 😂
Noticing a lack of stunt doubles is definitely something you can spot if you look close, and that was the main point he was making. The actual deal between actors was just additional information to the main fact.
@@jaspertaylor2810 go touch some grass
“You missed this…” proceeds to tell us something that wasn’t stated in the movie whatsoever
To be fair, we missed on the duelist actually being the actors instead of doubles
You missed this in Django. Schultz didn’t actually kill the slave owners, they actually use special effects which allow them to look hurt. Every time Schultz actually killed someone, he had to pay them $500, so he stayed safe
Omg tnx i missed this, like... Im so blind 🤧
Hilarious 😂
You learn something new every day.
Alec Baldwin should've taken notes lol
Lmao
Eric Bana, not hitting Brad Pitt during the fight: "Ha, I don't have to pay you anything."
Brad Pitt, counting out $800: "That is why no one will remember your name."
😂😂👍
🤣🤣🤣 good one
A lion amongst men.
Lol great comment.
😂😂😂😂
The scene where Achilles throws money on Hector's corpse because he "hit him many times" must have just been in the directors cut.
😂😂😂
Hahahaha
Savage bro..💪
Troy is legendary because of these two actors. I watch Troy once a year forsure lol.
We got the better deal. The duel was amazing.
It was.
It was also a surprisingly good film.
Realistic too
Eric Bana is so underrated
How could we have “missed” something that was discussed by the two actors off screen?
You're clearly slacking in your ESP skills, you need to level up!
No he's right. We MISSED a fun fact. I also missed what the actors ate before and after this scene.
This is hands down my favorite movie
Brad Pitt was so beautiful in this movie.
the whole theater made drooling sounds when this scene came on lol everyone wanted that bod for a variety of reasons.
I'm a straight, good looking man, but yeah, I wish I could slightly look like that mf.
@@thadofalltradesI wish there was a theater that would play older movies, this is one movie I would love to experience in theaters.
There are some, but they are a thing of the past
He was, so sexy.
It's a classic. I never get tired watching it.
Thats why this fight was epic. No bs. You seen them the entire time. IMO greatest movie ever.
Even if we missed this we the fans enjoyed it all. It was a great movie. ❤😊
Yes, I remember, Hector scratched his chest plate with the tip of his sword. Achilles/Pitt actually lost his footing!! So he looked up as if he was gonna say something like “ well damn, I owe you 750!”. It then just went to the rest of the fight. But they were both winded for real because they were actually trying to fight!🤣🤣 cool👍🏽
One of the all time great films
That is still one of my favorite fight scenes.
Right, hector was holding his own and then...
It is an amazing story of duty and honor. Hector knowing he could not win still did his duty to family and country.
brad really took it personal
Brad knew what he was doing
Dude… how were we supposed to know that? I’m sick of you making us feel dumb
If this makes you feel dumb then that's kind of weird
calm down
@@mathewrhoden8164 right 😂😂😂😂
You missed this in TROY: he breathes
Hard to miss what was never in your line of sight. Good vid!
Pitt ended up tearing his Achilles tendon
🤣 Poetic justice!
I could watch these two priceless works of art thrust their rods at each other all day
Wow, that’s awesome. This is my favorite fight scene of all time. It’s so beautifully choreographed, but still feels gritty and raw. It’s both satisfying to watch and tells a self-contained story that also drives the film’s plot forward. It’s a perfect movie fight scene.
This scene need respect ... Probably most important scene in whole movie
Arent you the infographics guy
You are the 10000th person to comment that and to answer the question yea it is him
@@hippyjesus01 mostly everyone thinks a voice will work for one studio or one channel like watch mojo so every1 will think someone’s voice works for 1 channel only i heard this guys voice and a few other channels the be amazed voice as well
Aint you Nathaniel B?
Love this movie and the actors.
The people got the best deal!! That was an amazing fight scene and we all were glued to our seats watching it.
Legendary scene
its not a miss tf are you talking about, its behind the scenes we didnt miss anything
I did miss that detail, I also missed watching the entire movie but that was on purpose
You have to watch it the movie is great
I'm not a movie guy.. honestly.. but. It was indeed one of the movie's worth watching. Has a good quality of settings that detail how maybe these times were during that reign.. had good props, it looked good with decent acting.. the tense moments were good ones..
That is one of the best edged weapon fight scenes in movie history.
Ditto
Best spear fight scene i have scene
I love this great epic film Troy and this fight of Achikes and Hector. - Oraculum
Great movie ..respect
One of my favourite fight scenes.
Definitely one of if not The highlight of the film.
Solid camerawork, editing, choreography, directing and acting by cast & crew.
Idc who missed what. This is still one of the best fight scenes cinema have ever given us. Kudos to them both.
This guy's voice is more recognisable than the president of the United States' voice
Great Hector was only beat by the intervention of The Grey Eyed Goddess, and no man can say otherwise. Hector was the Better Man, and the other guy was a wastrel, trouble-making fore-sworn brute. I spit on his memory.
This has been covered 100's of times already. This is almost like word for word....🤦🤡
The way Achilles runs around like a lion looking for an opening
Best Fight Scene Ever.... 😍👍✔️
Thanks for sharing this!
Great, movie ❤
That is a great fight scene. Cool trivia. But how could I miss something that wasn’t in the movie?
Reflective of Hector and Achilles true nature
I don't care this is the best scene in my entire Hollywood films
That is really good know, just for the Authentic idea of the Film. IT Means they were really Serious about the Fight Scenes then. Thank You for Sharing.
Who are we kidding? Pitt's duelling against the Hulk. 😂
Great fight!!
How did we miss that when it was never mentioned in the movie
Nobody knew about this, how can we miss it
At least he didn't make him angry
I could watch this all day!!! ♥️
My mom is asking me why do I keep replaying the phrase “ you missed this in Troy”. 🙈
Just Rewatched Troy to make sure I didn’t miss this bit of information. Unfortunately it went by without me noticing it. Idk how I keep missing it!
We all came for the thumbnail 🤩
You missed this in Troy. I had chipotle today.
Love this fight
Eric Banna is a great actor. I’m watching Troy tonight now. Brad is a great too!
Am I the only one who cried when Achilles got shot? 🥲
that little gaeboy paris
I cried too.
Гектор достойный храбрый воин!!
u missed this in every movie: there is a whole production team
I love that fight scene!
Love them both❤❤❤❤
I am Greek 🇬🇷 please Hollywood never make another movie , nobody can be better than those two ! Love y all people
Ρε
Troya : Héctor vs Aquiles
We all won thanks to them 🏆
En una declaración dicha por estos actores , se dijo que el que saliera menos dañado ,ya BRATT o Eric se pagarían uno a otro como caballeros qi son
Aquiles ❤😍
Lol that's like agreeing to a fifty cents and a dollar per light/heavy blow when they're paid hundreds of thousands
You missed this in Deadpool …… Deadpool doesn’t die, but each time he does die he’s forced against his will to commit suicide for every death offence he commits suicidally
Eric Bana is dreamy
Realism always makes the movie look better I love that scene. Me and my friend watch this movie at the cinema before it closed in my country.
You probably just made that up Mr. A.I.
I can’t believe when I saw this that I completely overlooked a private bet the actors made on set
Hahahaha
NO SE QUÉ CUERNOS DECÍS... *PERO ES UN PLACER AL DIOS BRAD PITT*
Best fighting scene of all time
Such an entertaining movie!
People also missed that the tree in this scene was not a stunt double tree, but a real tree, which most people would not have guessed
I didn't miss it. Like you, i read it on IMDb.
This is pretty interesting, just the usual casual wager between mortal foes lol. Thanks for sharing! God bless :)
Brad throwing some hard blows for real.
Ive watched this movie a few times, that wasnt the deal they made on screen, and who came away ahead in the scene was the one driving in the chariot dragging his foe behind him....
Of course we would miss it if it wasn’t in the movie.
Wow that scene was amazing 🤩
Real life Achilles and Hector
Very well choreographed.
I remember Brian Coxe saying that he was just stunned by how gorgeous Brad was in this movie - even being straight.
Great fight scene
Nahh.. I knew this info cuz I saw the interview they did and said that hahaha. I was THAT addicted to Troy when it came out.
"If you missed this in Troy"
*tells us something that didn't happen in the movie*
How the fuck would I have missed this while watching the movie
Pretty hard to accidentally land a hit in a choreographed fight where you land zero hits 😂
How we gonna miss sumtn that wasn't in the movie?
La responsabilità e la personalità di Ettore!!
Historical recount of this fight was less than a second of combat. Achilles beheads him.
“Who actually got the better deal?”
Bro the dude who got paid 3/4 of a 1000 dollars
Well he got his ass kicked and I don't think he needed the money anyways. I think that brat just used the cash in his pocket to take advantage of the situation.
You also missed what Brad Pitt said to Eric Bana, "The first rule of Fight Club is: you do not talk about Fight Club."
