I "grew up" as an artist using Wacom tablets, and I'm grateful for their quality but I agree, they used their market position very much. As I said in the video, I don't see a reason paying for the brand any more.
The real question is, is their quality backed by their pricing? I’ve been using a iPad Pro for art for years (not bad) but I want to upgrade to something dedicated to 3d modeling and art so I do t know ow if I should go Wacom or Huion 😢
@@scarvello I don't think Wacom is ahead of Huion any more when it comes to product quality. The only thing I can't tell you is how long the tablets last, cause Wacom USED to build indestructible stuff. Apart from that, I'd save some money and go with Huion.

I had zero interest in using a drawing pad but didn't want to go huge in a 24 inch just yet. I only used Procreate for digital drawing. @@plasticpen WHOA!!!!!!! 😮- can’t blame you, with Huion’s built in express keys and SLIM design it’s way more convenient! I’m trying to decide between the Kamvas 13 2.5 or the Kamvas 16 2.5

The Huion is definitely a great choice for that, as it's very slim as well. However I'd consider an iPad if that's in your budget range, as that is the most mobile option you can get (I love drawing during train rides for example)
After having a 27QHD die on me after 3 years and Wacom telling me it was EOL'd and they weren't able to repair it even if I paid, I went with Huion 24 Pro 4k. I do miss eraser on my pen but I can definitely live without it.
Sorry to hear about the Wacom giving up on you...they used to be mega reliable, I remember having an old Intuos that ran for well over 10-12 years. The gap between the brands is certainly closing fast, Huion tablets were rubbish some years ago and now are great alternatives!

Hey, if you still have that problem you could change display scaling in windows from 100% to 150 - 175%, that way you can keep the 4K resolution but all of the icons and text will be bigger.
It would be really cool to see a direct side-by-side comparison between this Huin Kamvas Pro 2.5K, the XP-Pen Artist Pro 16 (Gen 2) and the Cintiq 16! I only heard of it related to old hard- or software..did you recently make any updates? Sounds like it could be a driver related issue. I think the easiest way to find out if your tablet may be the problem is connecting it to another computer and see how it behaves there.
I just started taking my art digitally and I have a Wacom intuos 4 from when I was in school, I am struggling to draw with it since the response time is quite laggy.. I love drawing on the iPad with procreate, but I need to learn vector drawing so it kinda sucks.. do you think I should purchase a Huion drawing tablet? I am currently doing my vector art with a mouse and keyboard and it’s taking SO long
I've been doing vector art with mouse and keyboard for many years, I think it works fine but it's certainly a whole different approach compared to pen & tablet. Honestly the best app for this I tried so far is Affinity Designer as it can do vector AND pixel graphics seamlessly. It's available for desktop and tablets so you should be able to use it with the huion tablet as well.

Wacom recently: customize your own cintiq but all the add ons are going to make u pay over thousands of dollars Huion and XP-Pen: has reached the cintiq level and still giving more with a quarter of the price. I have a wacom, but i may ditch it soon if other brands are already at wacom's level.
