1. If ur hair gets wet or even a little bit it will hella shrink in a few minutes
2. any physical activity like gym leading to sweating will make ur hair will shrink

You can blow dry you hair if you get braids and braids help grow your hair longer and make your hair grow the more you do it the more longer it gets

I've been experimenting with my hair recently, when I discovered it's not that I don't have hair, it's just extremely curled. When it's straight it's awesome. All it needs tho, is the tiniest spray of water.

Hey idk if you figured it out already but you should get some heat protectant products and shampoos and use warm air instead of hot u should be fine

Ohhhhh yeahhhhh..... I only have type 2 hair, so my bangs just don’t go down as far like 4.25 inches instead of 5.5 inches, but I just fully realized how much it is for type 4 hair.

My hair is about 3 inches long. Barely eyebrow length. I have a winter break coming up and I really wanted side braids; a part down the middle of my head with my hair being braided in the direction of my ears. Do you think it would look fine? (Some hang time) or should I just get two-strand twists until my hair grows more?
Kinda late but I'd recommend getting some twists until it grows long enough for cornrows or other braids.

If you live in humid climate, or not protecting your hair when you shower etc by using shower cap etc, the moisture will make it revert. Also when it comes to keeping your hair moisturized you can’t use liquids (like leave in conditioners) as that will also revert your hair. Which is why we don’t really recommend trying to keep this for long periods because then you can’t really moisturize your hair. You couldddd use grease and oils which is “dry” as it won’t revert your hair but it’s not going to truly hydrate your hair either. Hydration is key for healthy hair, so depends what’s more important to you. I haven’t found a way to be able to do both, if that makes sense. Also it tangling a lot is mosttt likely due to lack of moisture.

How much should i blow dry my hair without getting heat damage
The less the better, ideally no more than twice a month and always make sure you use a good heat protectant! We usually blow dry before doing a braid hairstyle to elongate it and that hairstyle usually lasts about 2 weeks.. so if we were to repeat that, we would do it every two weeks... but we don't, we only do it once in a while every month and now that hair is longer, its every few months or sometimes not at all or simply for video purposes. Hope that helps!
