I have always used rice water .. And trust me it works.. I ended up getting breast cancer and lost all my hair last year... My hair grew back after radiation.. And I have since then started back to using rice water.. But after watching your tutorial... I will be adding in the ingredients you used.. Thank you so much for sharing this video!
Did the big chop and my hair refused to grow. I tried it for a month and was amazed. I was unable to do for a few months and my hair is still growing fast and healthy. Thanks Mercy
It works for real. my hair grows fast on its own but this rice water boost it so fast. I trim my hair so many times & grew it back & people always ask how the hell my hair grow so fast. The thing about rice water its not even the growth of the hair it keeps your hair very healthy prevent you from hair lost. How I use it I soak it overnight.I wash my hair every Sunday so I soak it from Saturday night. Once you have curly hair it shrinks a lot lol
Hello this is my first time actually sitting down watching your whole video instead of just escaping it from the ads and I've been looking for something to grow my hair back because I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 and I lost my hair and I got some of it back but it's not where I wanted to be sew-in by me watching this video I'm very impressed so I'm going to start my rice water treatment tomorrow because I have all ingredients. I just want my hair back I really miss my hair through the middle of my back or least to my shoulders and thank you again for showing the videos for us women God bless you
IM SOOO JEALOUS WHY CAN'T MY HAIR BE THIS LONG I'm 12 and I'm trying to grow my hair to like your length so then when I'm older I can cut my hair and give it to hospitals so they can make into a WIG for black girls with cancer but WHEN I SAY MY 4C HAIR TAKES FOREVER TO GROW!!!
Hey hun, I have 4C hair too and on my journey my best advice to you is to braid, cornrow or twist your hair into a protective style and leave it alone. When my hairs in cornrowns moisturized and oiled every night and covered with a bonnet or scarf(this will also induce heat which will make the oils penetrate better) my hair flourished. For about a year if you continue to do that and wash, condition and deep condition it when you take it out every 1-2 months, than just put t back in the protective style, you will see growth trust me. Get a mix of 2-4 oils that help grow your hair type/that your hair absorbs well, get a staple leave in conditioner, and find a hair style you can do that’s long term. Like mini twists. Cornrows, single braids with or without extensions. If you build I routine like that believe me you’ll see a difference. Also make sure you’re consuming you’re daily water intake as our hair is like plants too growing out of our scalp. Your diet sometimes can play a roll in slower hair growth so if you tend to eat more junk food, try and eat more healthier options like fruit and veggies, smoothies unfried foods and less meat. Hope this helps. ☺️☺️
I love seeing melanin enriched women rockn their natural hair. No chemicals, no straighteners or any form of European hypnosis that will alter the texture of it. I like it fluffy. And the thicker that shyt is, the more I am infatuated.
@@MM-nh1bv idk what the others saw but I was feeling the comment up until the very end. When he used the term "infatuated " it made it seem a bit fetishistic. And he probably didn't even mean it that way.
@@cheritaogunsanyamsp sorry if this reply is late, but it was definitely the last comment and insinuating hair can't be worn in any form, for me. Natural hair is fire, but understandably, some wear wigs for protection, straighten hair (hopefully without perms and such because possibility of cancer) for manageability, etc. Just seems weird, ya feel me?
If you use perfumed okra slime to wash your hair it will enhance the effects even more, and use a shower filter and trust you'll see even better results. Update: I did some digging and found out the oil that was used by the Yao and by other Asian countries is Camelia oil. I use this oil all the time. Its a flowering tree related to the tea plant. My Mama is Korean and I found out from her!! I been using a combination of African and Asian remedies on my hair and it has grown in so damned THICKKKKK!

Rice (rinse it off) Add warm water to rice. Run rice between fingers 5-10 mins. Drain water off rice into pot. Use orange/lime/lemon to get rid of smell ( use the peels). Let the rice water and peels boil for 8-10 mins. Let it cool, then transfer to jar (add the peels), use essential oils aswell. Set it in a cool, dark place. After fermenting for 1 week - 1 month. Transfer to spray bottle (take out the peels). Then use it
I literally love her videos especially the rice water ones. My hair has grown an inch and retained since I started watching her. I trust mercy and only mercy to tell me the facts
This is the best thing I’ve ever tried. My hair was suffering because I kept dying it. I did this for 4 times a week massaging for at least 5 minutes and it worked really well for me
I made this formula for the first time ever and I’m highly excited about trying the rice water hair growth treatment for my very first time as well and I’m very nervous about this so wish me luck 😌😌
Great one there I've tried the rice water and what I realized is, my edges have grown intact ✌️so if my edges have experience growth, definitely the inside of the hair is ✌️✌️✌️✌️
Rosemary would be lovely with the orange and rosemary brings blood flow and stimulates the hair follicles promoting growth.. so i think that would be a great choice of herb 😊
Also, I noticed my hair was so soft as I combed through my hair with the rice water on it. It remained soft the entire time the rice water was on my hair that I didn't want to wash it out. It smelled bad but I didn't care, I was just happy with the way it felt. Thanks Mercy!!!!

Honestly it does work! We all have different types of hair, means it could work for one person but doesn't for another! But it works on my 4b hair! Between, there is something else im doing for my hair...it does work too, boiling aloe vera, and spray it on my hair, rinse it out with warm water after about 1 hour... Thank u🌺
I got sumthin that might really work. Go on google and search Hollywood. Buy one of them (24 dollars). And put it on your hair every day for 3 weeks. (Make sure you have your rice water ready) after the 3rd week you wash your hair with the rice water 😃
I gotta say .. I am a believer. I used it on my hair. Im dealing with post covid 19 hair loss (Yes its a thing).. I had a spot that was really thin and my hair was not growing. Ive used this for the past 2 weeks and I see growth that is retained. I spray it on my hair a few times a day. Ive done the same with my sons hair (who also had a bald patch) and his hair is growing in nicelyl Its awesome. Saved my life. RT
I used it back in august and my hair actually grew a few inches within a week or 2 of using it. I cut my hair a month later since I went natural so looks like I’m about to be using this again 😌
How many use put the rice water on your hair because ppl in here say once a month or twice but I’m so impatient and want to know my hair is to thin and fine I been trying to grow my hair out for years
I don't trust you first cut your hair and make the same method and use it on your hair so we can see if it really works if I'm saying the truth pls let us greater here ❤❤❤ thanks
I tried rice water and found that it really strengthens your hair. Warning, if you are protein sensitive you may wanna space your treatments out. I was doing it every wash day and at first it felt amazing but by the 3rd or 4th treatment my hair started to feel hard and brittle. I think this really works but now I will only do it once or maybe twice a month.
I noticed my nails grew faster than my hair which was still a win for me. I stopped using the rice water and now using natural herb products...... I think I'm going to try incorporating the 2.
This has helped me a lot. Rice water helped my hair get a bit stronger. Even though my hair is extremely curly (4c,4dish) my hair is also extremely thin. I’m young so I was wondering what’s up, which made me hate my hair for the longest time. But now I can put it in two puff balls with them looking full. I’ve been using it for about a month or two now and it gave me more confidence in my life!

Her hair is beautiful and so is she. I love her spirit. She's so humble and down to earth. I'm going to do this process.
I recently finished chemo, so my hair is so thin, and damaged and now have Alopecia and a bald in the back of my scalp, so yes I am going to try this for a few months and let you know....🙏🙏🙏

@Bjay Sweeney I completed 6 months of chemo, my hair took a bit of time and care, but it is growing back. Just be patient.
Is no one gonna talk about how cute her accent is
Lol
No way! I can’t with “here” instead of “hair” 😂😂😂
Yay she sounds like someone from west Africa (Liberian)
Maybe it’s because it is one of those things you don’t know how the person will take! Personally, whenever someone mentions my accent, I feel really bad about myself. I haven’t learned how to deal with people’s need to point out I’m not like them - even if they mean it positively!
She’s definitely Liberian!
I did boiled cloves, rosemary and hair growth oil, almost a month and my hair on the sides is coming in. I have suffered since 2009 bald on sides no growth, so to have hair, I appreciate all of you, who do home treatments with natural things because they work. Better than chemicals.

Did you boil the rice water??

I know that your dream will come true
@@TTTTL995 Thank you😄
Girl I think we living the sane life. I'm 12- too and want to do the same thing
We have the same goal ! I really want to grow my hair long, so that I can cut it. I'm also gonna study to be a doctor so i'll kinda be doing my job😅😅
Who is watching this in Nigeria

This actually works, if you add this to your natural hair regimen and take care of your hair, the rice water helps boost growth🤍
I used rice water (about twice a month) for about a year... absolutely significant hair growth. All I was left with was bags of jasmine rice.
Can I use it on a relax hair, my hair is not virgin
@@emmanuelanna8753 yes
Mercy, your recipes are simply the best. Cause all the ingredients can be found where I live.
OMGsh!!! Are you kidding? It worked beautifully! Two weeks and you got that kind of growth! Wow! I cannot wait to try this! Thank you so much for caring and sharing!
I didn't notice growth til after the 3rd week. I repeat the process once towards the end of every month. Omg i love it. Trust the process. yall
How long did u leave it in for
Rice (rinse it off)
Add warm water to rice.
Then use it
How I’m exactly doing! It’s my third time using rice water and this time decided to boil it and let ferment for a week.
I literally love her videos especially the rice water ones. My hair has grown an inch and retained since I started watching her. I trust mercy and only mercy to tell me the facts

Also, I noticed my hair was so soft as I combed through my hair with the rice water on it. It remained soft the entire time the rice water was on my hair that I didn't want to wash it out. It smelled bad but I didn't care, I was just happy with the way it felt. Thanks Mercy!!!!

try adding a few drops of pepperment oil in it!! It masks the smell a lot
I add orange peeling but scrape the white vitamins off to the jar and take it out before your pour into a spray bottle.

Ive done the same with my sons hair (who also had a bald patch) and his hair is growing in nicelyl

Hi
I tried rice water and found that it really strengthens your hair. Warning, if you are protein sensitive you may wanna space your treatments out. I was doing it every wash day and at first it felt amazing but by the 3rd or 4th treatment my hair started to feel hard and brittle. I think this really works but now I will only do it once or maybe twice a month.
Sounds like the results I got after using cloves on my hair.

This has helped me a lot. Rice water helped my hair get a bit stronger. Even though my hair is extremely curly (4c,4dish) my hair is also extremely thin.
