Im bald headed. I'll keep you guys updated every week of using this and tell you if its legit .
Disclaimers: 4c hair. Tried out rice water before and grew hair a bit , but never this method , using twice a week because i swim and it will get washed out in the pool.
Week 1 : It made my hair really soft and easy to comb through . Haven't seen major growth, but its only been a few days.
Week 2 : i decided to do it a bit earlier. But after a few days i could tell that my hair is kinda getting stronger and thicker but still no major growth. Thanks for everyone checking in ❤
Week 3: I feel really bad that im not getting growth results . But the only thing i have really noticed is just hair strength and thickness.
Week 4:OMG! I am seeing some growth .Yup there is definitely some growth, minimal but there is definitely some growth there.
Week 5 : there's really nothing new to this other than last weeks growth but thats pretty much it for this week.
😊I’m starting school so pls bare with me

Progress update - it works! I tried it over 3 months and my hair has increased in length and thickness. I used BLACK RICE and it worked so well. It’s more nutritious. I felt a difference in my hair straight away. I don’t know how or why but it felt thicker! I have also done a comparative length check to show the growth.
    My advice ...
    1) try it! If you try it, use black rice!
    2) be patient, and don’t expect results overnight
    3) be consistent
Let us know how it goes ❤️

You don't have to. Please trust this procedure. I actually had my doubts too, lol. Then I made my hair into mini twists. I made sure they were firm enough at the roots, not tight, in order to monitor the growth. In THREEE days, it was already v LOOSE at the root. New growth! Just try and see. Hoping it works for you and everyone who tries it.

Nazii Ahmedey hey , I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now I keep mine at room temperature because once you put it in the fridge , that stops the fermenting process(when all the nutrients are getting in the water) so if you want to refrigerate it , you should let it sit for at least 24 hours in a cabinet , under your bathroom sink , closet , etc , then store in fridge. Hope this helps !💗

      @Dee-qo7gh 3 роки тому +23

@Chauna B I thought she qualify as dark, even tho she's not real dark. But to me if your not light skinned your dark. Ever since the internet people weren't forced to watch television any more where they show you every thing but decent dark skinned woman. Therefore the media and TV lost its hold on sensory of dark skinned woman. Because they knew if they put all pretty woman of every race and tone that it would be plainly obvious to the whole world that dark skinned woman have the most dominant beauty. All races came from black people which makes the black woman mother earth. A dark skinned natural head black woman is the image of mother earth. Thats why white people have a problem with your dark skinned girls going natural to school or at work.

So glad I found this video. I just cut my daughter's hair to get a fresh healthy start. My family thought I was crazy when I would wash her hair with her twists and I'm glad to see I'm not a crazy person but that it actually makes sense and helps a lot. Now that she has her little fro, I'm going to begin putting this on her hair as well as making DIY oils and things that are good for her hair. Thank you for the video, my arse has Indian hair so I turn to UA-cam A LOT for all things natural hair because I don't know anything about it and don't want to straighten out her hair. Her hair is beautiful and if she wants to straighten it out then she can choose to do so when she's older but my job as her parent is to show her that there's an alternative to the chemicals and heat.

The thing about rice water its not even the growth of the hair it keeps your hair very healthy prevent you from hair lost. Hey hun, I have 4C hair too and on my journey my best advice to you is to braid, cornrow or twist your hair into a protective style and leave it alone. When my hairs in cornrowns moisturized and oiled every night and covered with a bonnet or scarf(this will also induce heat which will make the oils penetrate better) my hair flourished. For about a year if you continue to do that and wash, condition and deep condition it when you take it out every 1-2 months, than just put t back in the protective style, you will see growth trust me. Get a mix of 2-4 oils that help grow your hair type/that your hair absorbs well, get a staple leave in conditioner, and find a hair style you can do that’s long term. Like mini twists. Cornrows, single braids with or without extensions. If you build I routine like that believe me you’ll see a difference. Also make sure you’re consuming you’re daily water intake as our hair is like plants too growing out of our scalp. Your diet sometimes can play a roll in slower hair growth so if you tend to eat more junk food, try and eat more healthier options like fruit and veggies, smoothies unfried foods and less meat. Hope this helps. ☺️☺️

Add warm water to rice. Run rice between fingers 5-10 mins.
Drain water off rice into pot. Use orange/lime/lemon to get rid of smell ( use the peels). Let the rice water and peels boil for 8-10 mins. Let it cool, then transfer to jar (add the peels), use essential oils aswell. Set it in a cool, dark place. After fermenting for 1 week - 1 month. Transfer to spray bottle (take out the peels). I got sumthin that might really work. Go on google and search Hollywood. Buy one of them (24 dollars). And put it on your hair every day for 3 weeks. (Make sure you have your rice water ready) after the 3rd week you wash your hair with the rice water 😃

I gotta say .. I am a believer. I used it on my hair. Im dealing with post covid 19 hair loss (Yes its a thing).. I had a spot that was really thin and my hair was not growing. Ive used this for the past 2 weeks and I see growth that is retained.
I spray it on my hair a few times a day. Ive done the same with my sons hair (who also had a bald patch) and his hair is growing in nicelyl
Its awesome. Saved my life. RT

I tried rice water and found that it really strengthens your hair. Warning, if you are protein sensitive you may wanna space your treatments out. I was doing it every wash day and at first it felt amazing but by the 3rd or 4th treatment my hair started to feel hard and brittle. I think this really works but now I will only do it once or maybe twice a month.

This has helped me a lot. Rice water helped my hair get a bit stronger. Even though my hair is extremely curly (4c,4dish) my hair is also extremely thin. I’m young so I was wondering what’s up, which made me hate my hair for the longest time. But now I can put it in two puff balls with them looking full. I’ve been using it for about a month or two now and it gave me more confidence in my life!
