Hi Polina, I've tried several face yoga videos, and I find yours are addressing my age and skin issues the best. Thank you. My skin has sagged a lot in the last 3 years, hooded eyelids and jowls are terrible. I am only 57 years old, but I feel my skin really sagged a lot in a short time. I had a full, round face when I was younger, now all the skin is hanging down. I've never been overweight, so it's not from weight loss. I follow a fairly healthy lifestyle. Can it be hormones/menopause?

Delighted you're enjoying the videos🌸 Yes I think menopause and hormones can wreck real havoc with the skin and some women are more prone to collagen loss than others due to diet, lifestyle, genes etc. I don't know when you started face yoga but it's never too late! When you start contracting and moving the muscles consciously with face yoga exercises, it will strengthen the muscles and will also boost collagen production in the skin. So choose the eye, cheek and the jowls/neck videos and give them a go for 4-6 weeks. I'd take a before photo and after photo every 2 weeks to track your progress 🌸💆♀
Hi Manisha, if you have open pores that are infected and with some inflammation, then please wait until the inflammation subsides before starting. If the skin is clear and no inflammation, you can do the video, just make sure you apply less pressure and have spotlessly clean hands! Hope this helps, Polina

There are many reasons why the skin might look flabby and thin, as we age, our skin loses its elasticity and firmness, which could be due to decrease in collagen levels, diet, sun damage, weakening of the facial muscles etc. You could start with some gentle strengthening of the cheek muscles and the under eye area, for this I have two videos in my Face Yoga playlist - Smooth Under Eye lines and also Lift and Tone Your Cheeks. I hope you enjoy them.

I'd recommend incorporating one technique into your daily skincare, for example, once you apply your cream or serum to your face (either am or pm), tap the products into the skin using the tapping technique I show in the video - all over neck, cheeks, forehead and around the eyes. Tapping will help the products you apply sink deeper into the skin plus will help gently boost the collagen. Essentially, if you do it daily it will quickly build up to be able to see the results, you'll notice the improvements. Likewise, you can use the pinching technique I show in the video any time you feel your face needs a boost, daily is ideal. I hope this helps. Polina

Secondly, are your stress levels high and maybe you might be tired or exhausted? Thirdly, is your diet healthy and does it include plenty of vegetables, fruits, and dietary fibre? And is your skincare working to its best for you? I'm sure you're already doing some of these things , You might need to do some tweaks to some of these for your body to make the correct adjustments and start manifesting healthy skin, and vibrant facial appearance. When we lose weight in the body, especially a significant amount of weight like you describe, this also affect our face, essentially we lose the fat ‘padding’ under the facial skin, resulting in loose skin, folds, extra wrinkles and dullness. I would recommend a program of strengthening your cheek and under eye muscles, plus collagen boosting techniques to create a stronger structure for the whole face, so that the skin attached to the muscles can smooth out and plump up. In addition to the collagen boost video you’ve already found, I recommend you check out my Face Yoga for Cheeks video and Smooth Under Eye wrinkles video too. Do the Cheeks and Eye videos once a day, 6 times a week, with 3 repetitions of each cheek and eye exercises. Finish each time with the Collagen boost video. I hope this helps! Polina
