Though Garry has a size advantage over DJ, it seemed to me that he was really able to not lean on it (or even utilize it), and just focus on technique. It takes a ton of talent and focus to not lean on size (or strength) advantage as you get tired, or just as the roll progresses in general. Very high level stuff from both!

What a pleasure to watch! Your movement is so quick and fluid. It looks to me like you were really leaning on your agility and athleticism to compensate for only being able to use half of your arsenal against a world class grappler like Garry.

Who wins in an mma fight between Demetrious and Garry?
Demetrious advantages - striking, speed, mma experience
Garry advantages - grappling, size, strength
What ya'll think? Demetrious would need to keep moving, stop the takedown and beat him on the feet. Garry would need to close the distance, cut off the cage and take him down to finish with bjj.
