its crazy to think that for a brief period of time Eddie appeared on the scene and was the best grappler in the world
Not only that, he allegedly originated a lot of the concepts related to the modern leg lock game , along with Danaher, that DDS became known for.

@Joao Vaz That match was in the second round. Eddie never medaled at ADCC worlds. If he had made finals and lost he would have won silver and it also would have meant Tanquinho would have won gold in 2015 when it was Cobrinha who got gold that year. Tanquinho did not win ADCC gold until 2019.

Our community is wild. 1st submission loss in his own weight class by another elite guy like Tye Ruotolo and now Garry's washed up. I think Garry's gonna do very well at ADCC this year.
