Really believe this is a special exercise in so many ways - possibly the peak crossover of fun and function. I put a lot into making this, it is part of a series of about 15 videos all like this in my 'Springs n Swings Course'. I hope you enjoy!
Its so funny to have naturally known how to do it as a kid after many times of repetition as a kid and it to mention less weight but now somehow relearning it again as an adult. Thanks brother. Its also been a week since I started rope flow and it has brought me great joy in flowing between all of the sneaks and rolls transitioning between underhand and overhand and pivoting. Thanks brother.
@@Tims_Gym yes both new to me! Love the look of the running man, would take some practice to have it as smooth as yours I’m sure 🏃🏽I’ll let you know 👍🏼
This makes me think it's a shame there aren't adult monkey bars all over the place, I'd definitely do it a lot, but there's only one very short monkey bar set up in my town.
Other than me just saying AMEN like several times before under other people's videos numerous times before, I just like to add on to this video about the pull-up bar exercises, including the brachiation which Tim Shieff mentioned in this video, by saying that pull up exercises, including the monkey bar exercises (brachiation) and some other calisthenic exercises, are good for knee recovery since you are resting your feet from the ground to focus more on your upper body, you are relaxing your knees as well so that you knees would be able to absorb more impact when doing running or doing some parkour/freerunning jumps or some other general jumps as well like the box jump. AMEN.
Great 💪💪 and that video in instagram was Nice! Dont you have any pains after those big gaps? I felt next days some pain near my shoulder always when I did something like that. Not so big gaps 😁
I am overweight guy, yesterday i was exercising near the parque when i saw the monkey bars, there was no one so I was like:" i can't do it but lets just try" I tried one by one but was too hard, then i balanced my body and... without thinking i did it! Kind like the 3 step you show, my body simply did it. Was wierd.
My real problem now is that since I am overweight, my hands hurt a lot in the end. Should I buy gloves? The bars I have are thick I am looking for a park with thinner ones to start. Thanks for the video
I loved monkey-bars as a kid - now, school yards don't have them... so sad

Can't wait to hop on the bars tonight!!
'sir please step down off the bar. And put your shirt back on.'
"Shieff's Kiss" ha perfect. Great video, the clear progressions and explanation of the physics was very insightful. Thanks

Man, I LOVE monkey bars
Espetacular! Eu não entendo o seu idioma, mas vou aprendendo a braquiação observando e praticando. A braquiação é um movimento muito bonito. Obrigado.
It's a pity there's no calisthenics parks or monkey bars where I live ! 😢😢😢 Would love to practise it
The 360 spin is sick!!
Love it Tim! I’ve got some new things to try 🐒 I’ll be out on the bars as soon as I can 🥷🏻💪🏼

Yeahhh buddy!
will you make a tutorial of 90 degree bend arm as well?
Brachiation on monkey bars teaches the mechanics of throwing action as well
It’s the reverse of throwing
“Awaken it.”🤌🏾

Where did you get that monkey bar setup?
I wish i wasnt 6'4" sometimes.. its hard to find bars tall enough for me to train on. My grip has suffered for years
I feel you brother
