Did you miss it? Brian broke down his fire eating routine in this new video: ua-cam.com/video/-crd2rUsRP0/v-deo.html
Not only did Brian break the routine down, he’s also giving away THE book on fire-eating for the next 48 hours at gimme.scamstuff.com. Practice safely and with proper supervision!
Congrats to the winners of last week's Cutaway Handcuffs giveaway: Christian Schmidt, Marius Bakken, Thijs Konijnendijk, Ricardo Esquivel, Dylon Wake, Larry Trahan, and Jason Huang

I notice Brian has some facial hair, will it be an issue to try this if I have more than Brian?

I am fully behind The Modern Rogue and the stuff you do. Learning sketchy stuff is a passion of mine. I jumped on the deal for the free Professional's Guide to Fire Eating, but I still want to show support. My sister's birthday is quickly approaching, and like any responsible younger brother, I went on scam stuff and bought her the greeting card you have available.
For those who don't know, it's a rather plain looking card that plays music that will not stop. Pressing the play button again will only make it play louder and according to another customer, attempts to destroy the card will just get glitter everywhere. It is the most beautifully malicious thing I have ever heard of and I will be filming the entire process.

Brian is a trained professional, it's not often you can say that and MEAN it. I also love that the title card has a "do not try" card and 5 seconds later it's like "Hey, Knuckcle head did you hear me?" as if we were itching to toss kerosene on kebob skewer and burn our faces off as we hit the play button... that said, Hey you reading this, put the kebob down.

I wonder if a ceramic coated rod would provide you with better insulation and less risk of burning yourself.

I noticed that when you actually close your mouth around the torch once the torch douses you can actually notice a slight "vacuum" feeling in your mouth from the air being consumed by the flame. I feel like that MAY (definitely dont take my word as fact i am entirely an amateur) be a decent sign the flame is extinguished.

Few questions: what's your opinion on using denem? Though I think it's a bad idea, what's your opinion on sponge centers for your fuel? In this series, will you only cover fire sticks or will you include the human Jack-o-lantern, human chimney, and holding a fire ball(with cotton) as well?

I see people saying it was Frankenstein monster but it was Frankenstein that created the monster so like a mother or a father to a child it would assume it creators name unless otherwise stated. the monster was never given a name so it would be assumed it's name was Frankenstein. also not in the books but later in the movies the monster is referred to as Frankenstein ie Frankenstein meets wolfman, Frankensteins bride and so on.

To the whole "nothing synthetic" thing. What do you think about Kevlar?
I have seen shops that sell wicks out of Kevlar which seems like the ideal material for this sort of thing. It is non-flammable, doen't melt under heat and it doesn't disintegrate under heat. It is actually used to make fireproof plane seats and some fire proof clothing.
