Real heroes don't wear capes, they wear blue plastic gloves! Well done Foresty Forest, and a long middle finger to whoever it was that left it like that.
I'll be very honest, I would watch your videos even if you didn't talk. You take us along on your adventures, places we would never see otherwise! So thank you! Be safe,be free,be happy!
As a former ding dong, I appreciate your efforts. In my late teens, we would hike deep into woods, “party all night”; and thought we were doing our part by leaving all the trash in the middle of pit like what you walked into. I am not defending this action, just exposing the ignorance of those who weren’t taught better.
Foresty, thank you for being such a great steward of our beautiful Country Canada! It is really unfortunate that you have a few SELFISH individuals who could care less about their actions and what it is does to the land and others. I unfortunately feel that is the way society is, as a whole now a days...me first!
Years ago I did somebody's Poetry Workshop and part of the writing was chopping your original work down and preserving the meaning. I have a couple things I noticed in this one: (1) yes, it is frustrating that wherever it seems there is easy road access there is often trash left by bozos you are a mensch for cleaning it up. (2) the places you climb to and the footages that you capture with your drone are just jaw dropping. The ethers of the burning forests lend mysticalness and sublimity. You’re such a humble dude and a complete mountain bad ass. Thanks for sharing.
Great job Forest. I’m certain some of the trash was not fun to pick up. So THANK you! There are others like minded out here. As Mother Teresa said “look for the good being done”. ❤
A trashed campsite always reminds me of that saying, "Sometimes if it wasn't for low class, there'd be no class at all." Thanks for cleaning up and for another great adventure with you and Rocko.
I gave a Ghanian refugee family a lesson on proper trash disposal. I guess in Ghana, everyone litters trash wherever. Its a good thing we are bringing them all to Canada.
Thank you for this, Foresty. I'm a child of the 60's, and I will always remember my mother teaching me to take a bag with me when I go into the wild places. It makes me feel good to pack out other people's garbage when I go roaming. That said, it would be nice to be in a ding-dong free world some day.
I just bought a van to full time in and immediately injured myself. So now I'm stuck watching you for a while! Thanks for everything you do. I LOVE Rocko just as much! I have an austrailian cattle dog who will be joining me on my travels and it gives me hope to watch your videos.
I pick up trash on a busy road regularly. Some people are pathetic. Kudos on cleaning that site up and making it nice. Kudos on getting your van maintenance and managing not to get stuck in the middle of nowhere. Hey Rocko!
