She is so smart and sweet. I love her pup too. This is truly the most impressive rig yet. Love her life philosophy and ease. And the art, wow. I loved. your rock. I'm gonna buy some paints and play too, never done that. You are an inspiration LuLu. Take good care!
My suv sucks gasoline and has less usable space to store necessities. I can't Nomad in it. I could downsize library but I don't want to, don't have to YET.
IT'S ALL IN THE MIND ! this lady has to be incredibly organized AND resilient to be doing this since she's doing it because she wants & makes her happy , not because she has to. Congrats!
Awesome!!! I do the same! Swim as many days as i can..then shower. Ymca national membership. Plus public pools. Always Keep head neck feet and hands warm u got it made❤
I don't think I could get by without a regular sized towel. She's a true minimalist! She definitely knows what works for her. I really like this lady!!
She has all my respect. A wonderful, articulate, thoughtful lady living and enjoying life the way many of us could benefit from. Please consider starting a UA-cam channel sharing your life with us. Take care.
Highlander Squad!! 🤗 This was so inspiring to go more minimalist! I drive an '05 Highlander but I have two big Alpine goats and a chubby pig, so I'm farm-bound for now! Love the frou-frou pup!! 🤍🐩
HiHy squad member checking in! Well... _former_ member. I had an '07 HiHy, but now in an '11 Prius. The climate control just burned through too much gas - at least in the first generation HiHy. Of course, WOW, that 3.0 V6 + 3 electric MG's sure made it quick for a "soccer mommy mobile."
Kathleen is heroic. She, and many others in similar circumstances, manage to gather the most important necessities around them and keep going. It’s been a while since I’ve watched one of your videos since I went back to “ normal “ life. My mind set is so materialistic again. She gave me a nice reminder that stuff really doesn’t matter.
After much contemplation, I have decided I could easily live as a minimalist with one exception... my leather working gear. I gotta have room for all my leather working tools, everything else, minimal. :)
This is so promising for me. I have one of the smallest SUV's on the road and they don't make them anymore. Mine is all packed and ready to go. I also have two min pins that will be with me. I really needed to see this video. I'm in training to be a backpacker. I need to order my attic so I can carry my backpack and screen room and a doggy stroller. And put those loose items I don't want inside my living space. I enjoyed this video. She is truly a minimalist.
They're "chucks" not chalk, lol..used em for patients as a nurse now use em for myself..love her minimalism..I have far too much but once my son stops "dropping in" for overnight visits or when I leave the area that'll change definitely 😊 Love that she has hobbies knitting art etc to keep her busy..most days I'm bored to tears..I'm also fairly stationary bc of family n obligations but the road is calling n springtime sounds perfect..appreciate her independence, esp in a smaller vehicle with a big puppy..she's mastered all she needs✌️❤️😊
I have found a nighttime hat to be frustratingly wanting to move around and especially try to escape my head. So I use a fleece bathrobe and place it beneath my shoulders and bunched up around my head. So if I move it’s within the fabric. No more tugging at a hat✔️
Wow! Really impressive how much is inside and how it satisfies all your needs! This shows it IS possible to be a minimalist and have everything you need! 😊
yet another amazing human that has the skills to pay the bills and the knowledge to live the simple life. thanks for another great video bob. your life is rich with all the folks you ve met. so much more than money can buy a person.
Very impressive to me, due to the organization, cleanliness, & the ability to be comfortable and continuing too be moving forward for the last 4yrs! Outstanding! More power 2U Lue Lue!, take care!
Merry Christmas from Australia. I enjoyed this Bob thank you. I have been on the road in my van for just over a year now. When I left by unit, the van was packed and the floor was covered in 'stuff'. I have down sized a lot but still have more clothing than Lulu. She is a very creative lady. Clever idea with the fork light holder and the way her wood bed extension
@CheapRVliving I'm surprised that I don't see more people with Luci lights. They are portable, great lighting and you can leave on the dash to solar charge. No batteries, cheap and last for years.
Merry Christmas everyone it's another year that were all here living day-to-day and enjoying life to its fullest bless all of you and love the ones you're with❤
She has a lot of skills that have come in very handy. It would sure be nice to able to live like that. I'm 1/2 way there in my travel trailer full time. She's blessed to have an income without having to work.
What do you keep in your rooftop box? Do you keep a storage unit back "home"? Did you keep the seats you had removed? I have a Highlander that I consider using but always feel like I'd want more space. I'd love to hear more about your experiences, Lulu!
Hello 👋 my outdoors friend, thank you for sharing this informative video. She has a really nice set up. She is certainly well organized. I've done a similar thing with a Dodge Caliber; although I am not as organized. Stay safe out there. 😊
Highlanders are my favorite cars. I've been looking at the hybrid versions. Also to see if anyone has converted any so this was exactly what I've been looking for. Thanks for sharing Lulu and Bob.
🙏💕 thank you. I am about to retire my 2002 Subaru Forester and am wanting a Toyota Highlander. Being a women who likes to camp out on my own I must have the space to camp out in my vehicle. I love how you use those round pillow cases💕 great info Thank you
inspiring! What a great reminder to work with what you've got where you are, and a satisfying life can come with few things, just stepping outside your (car) door. Thanks!
Man I’m empresses with how little she needs to be happy
I have a 2003 Highlander and she is a beast! 265,000 miles and going strong. The storage in these cars is incredible!!
What an amazing lady Lulu is!! Thanks Bob for the interview/tour of the neat SUV. We wish Lulu the best in her home and travels.
I’m so glad I saw this tonight. I am a minimalist who wears all black too! Great person, inspiring. Thank you.
Yhanks
💕black protects you from others energy
Now that I bought a Highlander I have to watch this video again. She rocks it!
Smart woman to rent her house out rather than sell it all and end up with nothing 👍🏽😊🇦🇺
great way to organize clothes!

Those Toyotas are very dependable and comfortable! Lulu 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

She’s more of an efficient organizer than a minimalist. Good job!
What a Cute Lady! She has thought of Everything! 😊❤

What year is Highlander?
2003 here! Her name is Ol' Pearl and she has 259,000 mi and going strong!
Great demonstration of Minimalist on the road. Everything nice and clean, tidy. She is a pro
Thanks for sharing. Just got a RAV4. I'm encouraged. Thanks again.

Love it!! I do the 2 sleeping bag thing and love the chucks. I love how she brings
Her paints too ❤ happy trails
Lulu has given a great testimony for the simple life.
Toyota Highlander.....and the older body style. One of our favourite vehicles. And Lulu has done a great work on this one!
She is very organized , and tidy. Just a perfect home.👍👍
Hi Bob. This lady is not a novice but is not bored with her Nomad life either. Love her doggie too. I picked up several helpful hints too. Good video.
WOW! She is so organized. She even has room to continue her craft hobbies. God bless her!
I always feel like I need a whole vehicle just for craft supplies. 😮
Thank you
Lulu you are awesome. I thought my old Land cruiser was too small for me and my dog but now I know better.
After much contemplation, I have decided I could easily live as a minimalist with one exception... my leather working gear. I gotta have room for all my leather working tools, everything else, minimal. :)
Leather working is an excellent trade/craft/art to have on the road. Tools for your trade are not anti minimalist. No apologies.

She is also out west where there is more space to live partly outside her suv. I am jealous.
What about crappy weather? It's often too hot, cold or windy. Then what? Very confining.
I have found a nighttime hat to be frustratingly wanting to move around and especially try to escape my head. So I use a fleece bathrobe and place it beneath my shoulders and bunched up around my head. So if I move it’s within the fabric. No more tugging at a hat✔️
The hat I use has ear flaps and it ties under my chin… hope this helps.
She has a great home!! I am happy for her!!
Finally someone addresses peeing when in a car. It's the most important but least talked about. Great setup.
Wow! Really impressive how much is inside and how it satisfies all your needs! This shows it IS possible to be a minimalist and have everything you need! 😊
Thanks!
Lulu has figured out wants vs needs. Merry Christmas!
Good job Lulu!
Lulu has shown what is needed. Her dog is beautiful and her spirit and the Highlander is an excellent choice. Thank you for this video 😊
Awww, love your white standard poodle. I lost my white boy this summer and seeing yours is bittersweet.
Her art is Amazing!..heck, she's amazing!
One of your best interviews. Loaded with great ideas

Great lady & amazing building. i was t expecting a poodle but what a cutie!
Wow loved this, this how minimal I love to travel and the use of zones was great too
@CheapRVliving I'm surprised that I don't see more people with Luci lights. They are portable, great lighting and you can leave on the dash to solar charge. No batteries, cheap and last for years.
Smallest trashcan I've ever seen! 😮 I'm a little jealous. 😊
Wait... a phone holder for racing cars? 🤔
That’s what the sails person said.
Yes, very blessed! Thank you!
I can’t imagine living that way! To each his own!
Good one for the rest of us car campers. Minimalism is the key.
Nice tips and thanks for sharing 😊.
Love you Lulu! Minimalism = happiness!
Merry Christmas everyone it's another year that were all here living day-to-day and enjoying life to its fullest bless all of you and love the ones you're with❤
Wonderful and smart. Awesome woman. Thank you Lulu.
Thanks LuLu for sharing

Did you see a longer version than I did?
@@janet1744 I don't think so, why?
@@janet1744she rents the house, só has income. Spoke about this in the beginning.
Little towel makes sense. I think i might go a bit larger lol.
Love the minimalist. great effort. ❤
Great interview Bob great guest she’s one smart lady. 👍👍
Thank you Bob for introducing Lulu, She has got so many great ideas.
What a really cool woman. She’s practical, capable and having fun with no fuss. So genuinely likeable.
What do you keep in your rooftop box? Do you keep a storage unit back "home"? Did you keep the seats you had removed? I have a Highlander that I consider using but always feel like I'd want more space. I'd love to hear more about your experiences, Lulu!
The attic holds my chair, table, books, extra yarn, yoga Matt, and stuff, yes I have a storage unit, yes I kept my car seats.
What a great lady! Thank you Lulu!
I thank you so much for sharing
Beautiful! Way to LIVE! Helpful tips! 🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻💛
Nice to turn on the ignition for an hour to charge all the devices with that big hybrid battery
Hello 👋 my outdoors friend, thank you for sharing this informative video. She has a really nice set up. She is certainly well organized. I've done a similar thing with a Dodge Caliber; although I am not as organized. Stay safe out there. 😊

So simple. Love it!
Reallyyy organized lady and has a healthy outlook on life!!! Her dog is so beautiful!!! Alll the best to her on her travels--God Bless you Bob!!!❤❤❤
Good content
The thing that was not talked about:::::it’s a hybrid so she could use the a/c and heat all night long off the hybrid system:
I wondered about that. She has no fans. Wondered how she could survive heat.
Along as her car battery does not run out of charge.
It is like the PRIUS basically
@@janet1744the gas engine will turn on to recharge the battery and then turn off just like a Prius
l think l would be disappointed with 23mpg even with that roof carrier, considering that SUV has a overall 36mpg rating.
What an awesome guest! I really loved this one.
Excellent !
Excellent!! Great advice!!
I like the painted rock.
🙏💕 thank you. I am about to retire my 2002 Subaru Forester and am wanting a Toyota Highlander. Being a women who likes to camp out on my own I must have the space to camp out in my vehicle. I love how you use those round pillow cases💕 great info
