You're welcome! I've heard some people mentioning that, I personally didn't have issues, I use it as security cam 24/7 and it never freezes, so I'm not sure what could be the problem.

Yes, unfortunately, the same thing happens with my Logitech webcam too, they need a better app or chip inside to save the settings, however, my Logi is C920, so maybe the new ones are better.
So for my windows machine, it was necessary to install the driver too - then it worked. Basically just a small addtion to step 4, all in all very simple

Hi, trying using the PS5 joystick microphone. It works for me, but the first time, doesn't work for the USB port. I use the cabinet's port, and the joystick only show the orange light when is in charging mode (and the microphone not appears in the device list). Then, I put in the USB ports of the motherboard, and works perfect. I hope this will be useful for someone.

I thought Sony made every all of their devices encrypted with their secure chip, but I guess it is controller only. because I think USB 3 bandwidth costs too high to encrypted with their own chip with limited usage. By the way, it is the cheapest stereoscopic(3D) USB camera available on the market I believe.
And also, two images is also can be cropped persicely with source edit transform(ctrl + E), the image source is 3840*1080(two of 1920*1080), so, crop 1920, then It will be 1920*1080. so just 1 image.

Hi, no, Nvidia is just a way to have a virtual camera, if it doesn't show up, ensure it's connected to USB 3, also from bluetooth and devices section, and try another USB 3 port if possible.

I followed every step outlined but it just doesn't want to transmit video in any way, obs won't register it and neither will discord, it's showing in the usb list, I've downloaded the files and run the updater, everything is in the same folder, but it's just not working at all

@@StenchFinger-e7jhey man, idk if you figured it out but I found something that worked for me. I right clicked on the PS5 camera source and opened properties. Set the camera control settings as he shows in the video then select apply. I then pressed “deactivate” and then “activate” again and it showed up. Hope this helps you.
unfortunately this did not work for my ps4 camera. I did use a 3rd party adapter, but im not sure if thats even the issue or not. I also tried this on another computer and got the same result, its a shame because i would love to use ps4 camera as a webcam.
Hi, I've only had 2 PCs and a laptop to test, it worked on all 3 as long as I had it on USB 3 ports, however many people reported that it didn't work in comments, so I'm not sure what the issue was is exactly, it's kinda 50-50 and the adapter might be fine.

Hi, my camera doesnt seem to work but i have followed all the steps correctly. I missed out the Nvidia step because my graphics card doesnt support it but other than that everything is exactly as you did in the video. It says that its working on device manager but when i try to actually use it, it just shows nothing. On OBS it shows a black screen and on discord it shows a constant loading logo. Im using a USB 3.0 port connected directly to my pc and ive tried multiple different ports that work fine with other devices. I had no idea what the issue is so any support would be appreciated. Hi, I'm not sure why the driver doesn't work fine on some PCs, the only things that come to my mind are deleting the driver, updating Windows, and reinstalling it, as I tested it on both of my PCs and Laptop it worked so I couldn't investigate in the driver issue, I also tested it once again recently and it was working fine!

@@DanielZH I'm currently using streamlabs to go live , I have just got my PC 3days ago and still learning to set everything up , I have everything is fine , just the camera freezing is the only issue at the moment , the camera freezes when I switch over to a game or when I minimize the streamlabs window , ive set the resolution to 1920x1080 and the fps to 60 🤔

If you have the PS5 camera you don't need any cables, it connects to USB 3.

Hi, that usually comes to issues with connection to the camera, the only thing I can recommend is trying another USB 3 port and load again!

Hi, for custom res in OBS, try 5148x1088 and see if this fixes the problem, you'll need to crop the picture though.

hi, open .exe file, there's an md5 file as well which doesn't open, the one that shows as .exe, application should be opened.

Hi, I recommend restarting the PC, and redoing the process with a different USB port. it happened to me once and fixed this way.

I haven't found anything like drivers for mac, if I found, I'll let you know, BTW I recommend C920 overall. much better choice.

That's the most important option you need; I recommend running it again from another USB port and see if it fixes.

Set the camera control settings as he shows in the video then select apply. I then pressed “deactivate” and then “activate” again and it showed up. Hope this helps you.

unfortunately this did not work for my ps4 camera. I did use a 3rd party adapter, but im not sure if thats even the issue or not. I also tried this on another computer and got the same result, its a shame because i would love to use ps4 camera as a webcam.
Hi, I've only had 2 PCs and a laptop to test, it worked on all 3 as long as I had it on USB 3 ports, however many people reported that it didn't work in comments, so I'm not sure what the issue was is exactly, it's kinda 50-50 and the adapter might be fine.

Hi, my camera doesnt seem to work but i have followed all the steps correctly. I missed out the Nvidia step because my graphics card doesnt support it but other than that everything is exactly as you did in the video. It says that its working on device manager but when i try to actually use it, it just shows nothing. On OBS it shows a black screen and on discord it shows a constant loading logo. Im using a USB 3.0 port connected directly to my pc and ive tried multiple different ports that work fine with other devices. I had no idea what the issue is so any support would be appreciated. Hi, I'm not sure why the driver doesn't work fine on some PCs, the only things that come to my mind are deleting the driver, updating Windows, and reinstalling it, as I tested it on both of my PCs and Laptop it worked so I couldn't investigate in the driver issue, I also tested it once again recently and it was working fine!

that sounds weird, as I used it like a security cam with OBS Virtual camera for hours and it worked fine, with which app are you using it? is the frame rate and resolution set correctly?
@@DanielZH I'm currently using streamlabs to go live , I have just got my PC 3days ago and still learning to set everything up , I have everything is fine , just the camera freezing is the only issue at the moment , the camera freezes when I switch over to a game or when I minimize the streamlabs window , ive set the resolution to 1920x1080 and the fps to 60 🤔
@@UltimateG33 Oh I see, did you set the camera res to what is shown on video with 30FPS? this way it shouldn't crash, and crop the extra part with holding alt and dragging, I have a video on this you can check here its in OBS but works in streamlabs too: ua-cam.com/video/mb-x8E63nXg/v-deo.html
