I wish you were able to share pics on UA-cam I have a 34 5 Window Coupe that I chopped did a body drop opened up the roof and added real balsa-wood braces across the top and airbrushed her metallic burnt orange turned out pretty cool !🤙
Yeah i did something similar on my first one, this technique the engine trans and floor pan stay in the same spot so unless you run a bigger engine it’s all good. i had changing the trans tunnel..
Awesome custom work Morris, I love scratch building and you have the best thing for do that, those evergreen shapes are the best, looking forward to see more of this project my friend
Awesome work man you had my attention at 32 Ford ! but a suggestion... when you cut that 6 mil out of the floor pan you could have used that piece that you cut out for your peace to strengthen the two pieces when gluing them back together. Just to save on your Evergreen styrene ...😎
Well anyways love the videos man, it's nice to find a channel that has basically the same taste and model building is I do I can't build a box stock I have to chop it up and customized anyways love the videos my friend ... have a good one !
It’s quite easy on the 32 fords as you can just chop a section out and it drops almost straight down, you chop it through the middle of the widows where the A pillar is the straightest. try to find some tape the width you want to lower it, you probably want 2mm or 3mm tape, if you cut along the tape edges it should stay even. just glue it back together and do putty ect. the hardest part is hiding the join at the windows
My nephew is named Charles…we call him ‘Chazzy’ too!

I had to cut the transmission tunnel out and replace it with one from a NASCAR model. Used a smal block ford with auto trans.

How do you chop the top one one of the 32 ford kits?
