Thanks for the Christmas video, Paul. These are the first two Christmas albums I ever bought, I think the only two that I bought in the 70s. I always kinda resented the Beach Boys cover songs, so the Phil Spector album wins out pretty easily. Merry Christmas!
I wonder how many musicians played on BOTH albums? Funny thing, I had no idea this had been posted until I got home from work. We listened to both of these albums at work tonight!
Well all right! Two classic Christmas albums.....and they'll still be listened to decades from now. One weird fact about the Spector Christmas album......its release date: November 22 1963.
I was keeping score and ended up with the same score as you. But that being said, I really like The Beach Boys Christmas Album a lot. Hard for anyone to compete against those Darlene Love and Ronettes tracks. 🎄 🎅
I was sitting here watching this after a very hectic shopping experience, it was awful, anyway and then you said ' I don't really give a shit about the Bing Crosby version and all that kind of stuff ! And I lost it, I was laughing so much I couldn't finish eating, that was hilarious, 🤣 thank you Paul , have a very Merry Christmas 🤶 ❤
