    You've got some of this wrong. Dennis did not walk into the ocean and drown, It's very well known that he was diving off his yacht (which was for sale), retrieving things when he drowned. He also got kicked out of the Beach Boys in the spring of 1983--I know, as I was there and personally witnessed his drunken tantrum onstage that day, which got him fired. He drowned six months later.

      I can't believe they messed up on that fact. It was reported everywhere Dennis dove in to retrieve the items and drowned. There is no excuse for that error.

    I was a rock/music photographer in the 70’s; at a BB show in Eugene, OR….Dennis had to “save” his brother Brian on stage: Brian literally froze up…almost catatonic, couldn’t play. Dennis got off his drum kit, put his arms around his brother, grabbed the microphone, and started singing….
    “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s my Brother”.
    Everyone was in stunned silence…at the Humanity, and the disintegration of Brian; this was just the beginning…for DECADES, before he got it together again.

    • @Slinkygal
      @Slinkygal 4 дні тому

      Oh my, that is so heart warming about Dennis singing He ain't heavy, he's my brother with his arm around Brian. I love that song. I love Dennis as well as his brothers too. I wonder if there is a recording or video of this moment? This video doesn't' show Dennis' good qualities enough & instead twists a lot of facts to try to make Dennis look bad.

    Wait, Manson did know that Melcher didnt live there anymore. He actually stopped by the house and knocked on the door one day looking for Melcher. The person opening the door (not Tate) informed him that Melcher no longer lived there. Some have stated that Manson saw Tate.

    • @wiffley
      @wiffley 5 днів тому +2

      Yeah, the Manson followers knew who was living in the house. Some say Tex had attended parties there, and there was a drug deal gone bad with Abigail Folger's Polish boyfriend, who was a big-time dealer to the stars type.

    There were 6 victims at 10050 Cielo Drive.
    Sharon Tate, her unborn child, Jay Sebring (famous hairstylist), Wojciech Frykowski (friend of Tate's husband, film director, Roman Polanski) Abigail Folger (heiress to the coffee fortune) and Steven Parent (who was visiting groundskeeper, William Garretson. Garretson was not harmed but arrested the following morning as the prime suspect).

      if only Roman was home alone that night?, would of saved that 13 year old girl?, up there on Mulholland drive, from SA.

      Probably so.
      And Roman wouldn't have had to go to Europe to escape extradition.
      Still one of my favorite 'Family Guy' scenes....
      Stewie had the neighborhood bully bound and gagged in the basement, and Lois asked, "What are you doing?!", Stewie replied, "We're playing house". Lois asked, "Then why is he tied up?!" and Stewie replied, "It's Roman Polanski's house."

    I remember Barbara WIlson and those two little boys. A gorgeous woman who was getting her life on track when I knew her, which was after the divorce. Dennis leaping off his yacht to get things only to drown... I remember that story too. Manson's talent for songwriting was right down there with Hitler's talent for painting. But Dennis was the real deal, and I'm sorry he didn't live through his adventures.

      Manson was never a cult leader. The whole story was a coverup for all the underage girls Roman Polanski drugged and raped. Like epstein, Polanski is jewish and they always get a sweetheart deal. Roman Polanski was convicted and just flew away. Still wanted for child rape after all these years. And you drank the kool-aid. 😊😅😂

    The Beach Boy was a multi-talented artist with a complicated personal life. His dark side was part of who he was, and perhaps should just be seen as part of a life filled with ups and downs. It is important to weigh his talent against his personality.

    Dennis changed three words,on Manson song,which pissed him off.Dennis told Manson,the cello drive address,Manson went to cello drive,to see melcher,but he wasn’t there,a friend of Sharon’s,answered the door,that’s why he sent the family there,because Melcher,rejected him.Also Dennis,dived of he old yacht,a few times,to retrieve,he’s treasures,he was found,at the bottom,in a position,as if asleep.He never walked into the water.But I loved the video,nice one.

    My appologies but i forgot somthing (chemo memory loss) i know a gal who was at spahn ranch (i wont divulge her name for her privacies sake) when she told me i said"HOLY S_ _ T YOU WERE ACTUALLY THERE !!!! " & she simply nodded yes. I dont know if she was there before during or after that hideous nightmare but i do know she had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with it ! she was only there in passing needing a place to stay temporarily & did not become one of the monsters subjucated girls nor do i know if she ever even saw or spoke with him - i was to stunned to do anything but listen ... she later on got straightened out & went to universty & may have even got a p.h.d. (again sorry bad memory) & did teach at a major university . So if anything good can be said of that horrific time its that one girl survived & ultimately contributed to the benefit of society... thank you , Kevin James Windsor

    Beach Boys are one of the most talented groups, the vocal range of Carl Wilson is legendary: I Can Hear Music is one song. They were one of the best live performances (underrated) ever. There’s more to the story than mentioned here; Manson was a CIA MKULTRA plant. Everyone has a dark side.

      Manson release from prison in Washington state was more than a little suspicious. He was paroled, in spite of Manson pleading to NOT be released, to San Francisco, specifically the Haight-Ashbury. I guess the government thugs wanted to see how a thoroughgoing sociopath would react to a culture that was despised by the status-quo. He didn't stay long in SF and we know the rest of that ugly story. His release was certainly done with malicious intent and government funds, but he was nothing more than a psycho-patsy.
