- Israel's relentless bombardment of Gaza has killed and injured tens of thousands of Palestinians and the human cost is incalculable.
The toll on infrastructure is massive, resulting in absolute destruction and a lack of basic requirements to sustain life.
Entire neighbourhoods, homes, schools, hospitals, churches and mosques have all been targeted.
Whoever runs Gaza after the war ends will have to rebuild the besieged enclave and create a functioning economy.
Elsewhere, as Germany's borrowing limits spark a budget crisis, calls grow for its "debt brake" to be reformed.
Plus, Saudi Arabia and China agree on a currency swap.

It is unfortunate we are considering only infrastructure, hospitals and schools destruction , what we forgot is human lives some of the families lost their bread earner. This loss also to be included . Of course besides the two parties involved in the war the others who supplied weapons for the ongoing war should contribute for the reconstruction of GAZA.

@@TMGold60 IDF have killed 15000 civilians. Majority are women and children. During the ceasefire IDF continued to kill Palestinians and detain civilians in the west bank where there is no Hamas. The ceasefire broke down because Hamas did not hand 8 women. Instead Hamas wanted to hand over hostages that were killed in an IDF bombing. According to Hamas the 8 women were categorized as soldiers. IDF could have extended the ceasefire a few more days to settle the problem. IDF as a vastly superior military power can wait as long as they want. Hamas is not going anywhere. Is Hamas going to run from the Gaza strip? Israel has Hamas cornered.

This whole mess came after the Arabs backstabbed the Ottoman empire in favour of British. They had and are still declared a terrorist organization. Palestine hasn't rejected terrorists in their lands creating problems in other lands. They are no different from the wars in the Americas from Spain to England to France well before the United States of America was born after 1776. The main International laws were were against savages were justified because terrorism sponsorship to reasonable decent livelihoods is an International okayed replacement of such ideologies. Maybe the paradigm that someone has to pay for the damaged infrastructure in Gaza after each flare-up that Gaza starts should be ended.
Maybe, if the people of Gaza will build the infrastructure (and pay for their necessities) on their own expense they will think twice before starting wars. It would also put their priority straight like it's more important to increase hospital capacity then increase the tunnel capacity. It's more important to have food,water and fuel then to build rockets and launchers or that's time to see reason and attempt reaching an agreement with Israel so that trade will be resumed. It's price is de-militarizing Gaza but when you pay for your own expenses it would be a cheap price to pay.
When the aid paradigm ends even the over-population problem will end. When parents and not UNRWA feeds the kids they might think before having 6 kids without having a job. They might start valuing real education so instead of learning Jihad they will learn something useful so that many countries would accept them as immigrants while they could also find something useful to do in Gaza itself.

Also if the UN security council failed to declare a ceasefire then the UN is liable for damages. That case will go under the International Court of Justice (ICJ). We in UN and Israel paid for Gaza, the Israeli left but we in UN specialy Europeans and America paid for Gaza so no worries about the damage we forgave Israel already.
