Normally this show invited both the leading man and lady of what ever show they were featuring, but it is suspected that Paula Wayne is not here due to the interracial leads of the show. Certainly no network - even PBS - would have put that on the national airwaves in 1964. The white public would have complained en mass if Sam and Paula had sang together here.
