I loved this so much as I singer I always admired him, but after seeing this I loved it that much more. Singers don't sing like this that much anymore. You were all terrific!! I hope I am lucky enough to meet him someday as the Bible promises.
Sammy Davis Jnr at the peak of his powers. OMG what talent. The power and projection of that voice are just astonishing. Once you've heard this, no other version measures up...
One of the greatest performers in history. Everything he did was golden. More raw talent than the rest of the rat pack put together, and THAT'S saying something. More charm than Dean, better vocal technician than Frank, a more commanding presence than Lawford, and funnier than Bishop. Total package.

@bettigiom hi i was the little kid who ended the play, i definitely remember you. what a phenomenal experience it was! ive been looking for this on and off for years. i stumbled on the what kind of fool am i a couple of weeks ago and it was the first time i saw the ending since the premiere in 1979 in nyc!! thanks joe again for sharing this...great memories
How can he sing so clearly while dancing? I dont know any of todays singers that could do ANYTHING like this!!! All you hear from todays singers is huffing and puffing or just pure out of tune singing whioe dancing!!
