She did a video with Manny where she talked about mixing the eye paints and using them like paint to make a ton of custom colors. That video was really fun to watch, she's so down to Earth and they were so fun with each other

that green eye paint IS YOUR COLOR 💅🏾 literally gorgeous. About-face is the only celebrity brand that made me feel excited.
I *think* she made these products with universality in mind. I get what u mean by traditional-typically nude/neutral colors aimed at a white audience-but that’s why we need more things like this. I am dark skin and I as well as you can use all these shades. That’s what being an ally means. Thanks for the review!

Passing as white is actually not “getting it” your whole experience is different if you pass as white. She clearly does not get it. No one really wants to mix their own color. It should be there already.
You were one of the first youtubers to do live swatches the way you do (which is 1000% the best and most efficient way to show how they products perform) Halsey should have sent u the entire collection in PR. U litterally give them sales with your videos. Colourpop knows what I'm talking about 😏
Aesthetically this brand is kinda what I expected from Haus Labs when it was announced.
I like that the products are a little more interesting than the typical new brand launch.

That’s the key word “play” that’s what she goes for, play with make up have fun, and definitely u should have bought the white eye paint to customize the darker colors, also your look blue and green something Halsey would do

The way the blue one blended out reminded me so much of watercolors. It’d be really cool if you did a messy watercolor inspired look with all these shades 😍

Love seeing you play with these! She really designed those eye paints like oil paints -- they stay wet to allow for time to mix your own colors. Halsey has several vids on her own (music) channel playing with the products and talking about the development. She was the makeup artist for all the product shots and promos! I think that's so cool.
I think playing with different eye brushes might be beneficial in achieving the affect you're looking for. My first choice would've been a flat brush to get the shadow where I wanted it, the using a smaller fluffy brush to blend any edges I wanted blended.
You'd think a beauty guru would immediately be able to figure that out.. lol

I Nudist Judas, reminds me of a more intense NYX London Soft Matte Lip Cream. The shadow stick is actually in the shade 2002! I've seen people call most of the shades pearly, not sure why they decided to make the text for pearly/matte (the 2 formulations) larger than the actual shade name lmao

I’ve wanted liquid eyeshadow bc I don’t like how my powder eyeshadow sometimes looks kind of powdery. I kept wishing for a liquid matte shadow in bold colors. I even tried using my cream blushes once (didn’t work), so I’m exited to try these.
Same! I used to wet my fingertips with water and tap over my eyeshadow in high school to take away the powdery look, and honestly it still works better than setting spray mist too. Liquid and cream eyeshadows are just nice and can look a little fresher and keep your lids looking idk how to say, but... younger almost?

Ah I’m so excited to start seeing videos on her line! One major thing I love is the environmentally friendly packaging! Also it’s nice to see COLOR, especially so many colors that work with deeper skin. I got Dionysus eyeshadow and Nudist Judas lipstick and they’re so perfect on my brown skin😩😍 Plus the liquid eyeshadow is so easy to blend IMO and great for oily lids! I’m so excited to see more from this brand.

The best part of those shadows is you can mix them to make a unique color, just think, with a white and a black to the cold you got, you could have at the very least 15-20 different shades with just moving them.
That is why I wear nothing but cream/liquid to powder eyeshadows💜💜
Also, instead of putting directly on lid.. take you brush and just tap on the applicator, then apply and blend, then add layers to build up colors
I got the white eye paint, and the liquid and stick highlight... Honestly i'm way more impressed than i thought i would be!! The eyepaints are seriously awesome. Im gonna order more colors.

I got the terracotta-colored eye paint, the gold eyeshadow stick, and a few other items! I didn't get any liquid lipsticks because I have so many but if I do now I know they are a little darker than the cap! i love everything so far!!

Bless you, Shae. I am an avid Halsey fan (of course) and I've been wondering about the line and how it looks and acts on the skin. I bought the Anti-Vday lipsticks, specifically the black and fire engine red because those are my signature colors. I'm so excited to get them, I hope she adds them to the normal rotation

dude I LOVE THESE! I ordered the green and the tan color, then they sent me a free white pencil too and they all slay. The staying power is crazy. No creasing. I am going to order them all! I subscribe to Ipsy and they are sending a magenta/pink shade in my box for this month so I'm excited lol.
The poop brown reminds me of Tansy from Colourpop- a shade I used to love! It was such a good nude.

I really want to get the white eyeshadow and then one of the fun colored ones so that I can make different shades of the same tone like Halsey did in her vid with manny those look sooo cool
She designed the liquid shadows to be like oil paints so that’s why they take longer to dry, she wanted there to be time to blend them out and blend them into other colors before they dried on the lid and you had to start layering more product to get your desired effect.
