    When selecting a brush artist ensure you are purchasing commercial rights from the artist for reselling. Some offer this on their gigs for a premium price and others you will have to talk to to work out a deal.

    Hey. You showed my gig in this video, and i would like yo clear something up: you don’t have rights to resell my brushes that i make for you. When someone wants to resell it on other platforms, they make sure that i know about it and pay extra for reselling rights. Thank you.

      Yeah I’m kind of surprised this is still up, giving out advice for people to break copyright laws and screw over the people making the brushes to begin with. Not cool.

      I should have been more clear in the video about ensuring you have commercial rights. Do you offer a premium version of your brushes with commercial licensing?
      I’lol add a pinned comment to the vid

    lol... When "marketers" don't know about one of the largest markets in digital art...
    The brush market is flooded and has been for 20 years.

    Great video James 👍👍 have just smashed that like button and I am already a subscriber 👍. Can I ask a question about research tools for Etsy ? Which of the tools that are out there would you say is the best to get when first starting out . I have no niche at all right now and with all the niches out there I just don’t know where to start 😂😂

      I would recommend eRank. Its the most comprehensive and will only set you back $6 a month I think. Great place to start

    Can you tell?
    Where people use these digital products?

    • @jamesybeattie

      For this specific product people use the brushes inside the Pro Create application to create digital art.

    Yikes. I was interested in this until you suggest hiring someone to make the brushes. You can’t sell the work someone else did. That’s a huge violation of copyright laws. It’s not super responsible to suggest this to people, because they can most definitely be sued by the creators of the brushes. How about learn to make brushes yourself and THEN sell them on Etsy? Keep it legal and ethical. Not only is it theft of intellectual property, but it’s also just totally unfair to the person who created the brushes to begin with.

      I maybe should have been more clear in the video but obviously you should purchase gigs that have commercial rights or discuss the situation with the fiverr artist you are purchasing for.
      Many fiverr gigs allow you to pay more to use the end product with commercial rights

    It's against Etsy TOS to have someone else make the product.

    • @kelsey5572
      @kelsey5572 2 роки тому +2

      No it is not. You just have to disclose it. When you add a product, you can specify if you made it yourself or hired someone to make it. If you use a production partner, there is a space for that as well. Etsy has changed as it has grown
