6.4L 392 Daytona with Hellcat everything moved over!!! He's currently looking at hp90's as well. Good Stuff
That’s dope RT!! Glad you meeting some mopar buddies.
What are hp90’s?
@@carguy0389 8hp90 transmission. The 8spd auto that comes in a hellcat/demon.
People just dont understand. Custom builds like this are fun and unique. Leaving your opp clueless to what just happened. I would take the badges off and hurt some feelings around here.
These kinds of builds are the reason I love cars. Having a stock hellcat is very cool & probably just as fast - but this is unique, cool & awesome.
@@RTLife Facts.
I would’ve left the Daytona badges on it they really are head turners even with my Daytona 392 they don’t even call my car a scat or anything everyone just says “there goes that Daytona” 😂😂
@@albanybestdrumline Definitely leave the Daytona badges
@@albanybestdrumline i swear thats what goes on in my head 😂😂😂 imma call it a daytona all day
Always nice to see people building and doing their own thing. There is always those few people that say well why didn't you buy a hellcat. Because it's more rewarding building a car within your own means. Props to this guy!
I like this build man!!! I'm happy to see people do something other than cat deletes and wraps lol
Right!!! This is a real build. Was awesome going over it & seeing some accelerations
@@RTLife yeah because I initially came from a nissan tuner back ground 240sx, silvia's, z's and the aftermarket and builds for jdm were insane and cheap to do. Got a 392 and was like crickets lol now seems to be picking up, dodge made promises with the direct connect but this is better
It's expensive as fuck so I don't blame people and they lose the warranty for fucking with a car that come damn near perfect from factory for the money
@@invalidusername_5101 yep lol
That car looks awesome sounds great ..it’s awesome to See all the different engine builds that people do .And I like the color. Thanks for the video👍
I think it's cool as hell seeing all the Hellcat parts shifted over to the 392. Builds like this make the hobby so much more interesting
This car is badass! I'd love to do my own 7 liter gen 3 hemi with supercharger.
Thanks for the cool video!
Bro I never thought I'd see garage driven car again. He took it to a different level. Great choice going forged. If you're going in the motor anyways might as well beef it up. Very dope content 💪🏾
He really did a great job with this widebody. I remember watching a couple of his videos - that 392 with those strips looked great. Cool to see it getting built up & modded even more.
He’s local to me so I would see it daily on my way to work when I lived closer to him. I’ll definitely get with him sometime soon to see it closer. Still have a love for that Car 👏🏽 one of my favorite builds.
If he swapped to a hellcat crank that would change the stroke and it would no longer be a 392, it’d be a 376ci. I’m assuming he just did drop ins and kept the 392 crank since it’s forged from the factory there wouldn’t have been a benefit to changing it unless doing an actual stroker motor. Either way, sweet build!
I have a question , so what was your point of the first part of the paragraph?
@@Bahpes the video said hellcat crank but said it was still a 392. Those 2 do not go together… changing the crank changes the stroke…. Which changes the ci of the motor. It’s not possible. So basically in a nice way I was saying dude doesn’t know what he’s talking about…
@@B5beast422i was thinking the same thing. Hellcat crank would mean 6.2 displacement vs. 6.4 (392) he claims it is
@@elcentenario1 correct. It doesn’t add up. Most people don’t really know what they’re talking about once it comes to the motor builds/details though
Quite amazing. Didn’t think that the 392 block could take the extra power. Nice to see. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I really like how all the hellcat parts swapped over - 392 Hellcat is unique!
Why wouldn't it? It's a cast iron block.
Love the beautiful Daytona build thanks for your awesome content
it's such a nice ride. Very clean looking & has the performance to back up the looks
@@RTLife you are so right it's very clean and tastefully done
Keep up the great content. Ive been watching for years. Your car has come a long way.
Thank you, def appreciate the support. Plenty left to do with this R/T!
@@RTLife can’t wait to see what you do next. I’m building my scat it will be a slow build and I’m impatient. I swear if I hear just buy a hellcat again I’m gonna lose it.
Glad to see this car again

Great interview
🤯🤯🤯🤯 Mind blowing the builds that can be done.
pretty awesome right?!
@@RTLife yes sir!
Another great video my brotha!
Thanks man - pretty cool seeing what other people are doing with their mopars
That's awesome! I love how people do something a little different than everybody else. Very unique. Beautiful car. I wonder if he did the forged components from MMX? I am working so mostly just listening to you in the background. I am stoked people are coming out to showcase their builds with you. I like seeing what other people do. They are all awesome. Great job!
He used parts of the MMX conversion kit. I was impressed how many parts he swapped over from the Hellcat engine - Supercharger, Cam, Crank, fueling, he even setup a killer chiller! Pretty cool meeting up with people & getting back into some of my normal content. Thank you & hopefully we see plenty more builds go up on the channel.
Love it dope build
Beautiful Charger! 😍🤩😍🤩. Garage Driven even installed custom vertical fog lights on it too!
He did a great job with this widebody - mint condition
I remembered when Garage Driven own that car it had white stripes
yah I watched one of his videos 11 or so months ago. He did a greta job with the widebody conversion
Amazing car and hopefully one day I'll get there, great video sir. Got my R/T and would love to get more mods.
let me know when you're ready - we can get your build up on the channel
💸🤘🏽 love it & sounds amazing

Very sweet. I've seen that Charger in Port Saint Lucie. I work right up the street from Hades.
He's doing a great job with this thing. Has the looks & performance to back it up

Sounds like a monster right?! Great exhaust setup & build
Cool interesting build!
agreed. Pretty cool how all the hellcat parts shifted right over with no issues
The skys the limit. Awesome video
He can make some crazy power with that setup - He needs the Hp90 next though before cranking up the boost
Great idea
@@RTLife he is gonna get the hp90, crank up the boost, and then the rear end is gonna break. Knock on wood. I want to build my 392, jeep myself, including forging the engine and potentially getting an hp90, but everywhere I look, it's just one problem after another. It always goes the same. First they blow their engine, then they forge their engine. Then they blow their transmission, then they replace if with a stronger transmission. Then they blow their rear end. Then they replace it with a stronger rear end. And then there's another issue. After all this, we are well into the $30k's 🥲 and so as unique and cool as it is, it's just purely more cost effective to get a hellcat or trackhawk.
Thats awesome 👌 👏 😎
def one of the cooler builds I've loaded up
So sick
That is clean af

Def a cool build - basically built his own hellcat
@@RTLife Right now I'm kind of on the fence opting out of 5.7L AWD Enforcer (aka law enforcement) version. I didn't mod it much but the 5 speed imho is killing the power, specially when the trans temp get hot.

such a cool build right?!

BEAST mode right there. Solid 1/4 mile times
I like it

Edgard from Dsmlights is a great tuner!!! Awesome guy too!! He got my 1320 build running 11.2@121 in 2800 da
Damn! Beast mode right there. That's some great tuning, just shows the true potential of the 392
Badass car

Pretty unique build. Don't see many hellcat blowers on 392's.
Yah def a little something different. Pretty cool seeing how the hellcat parts can swap over
More on this build. I want to try it. 🙏
I will def have this back on for a follow up video. He's doing a great job
That power is good with me, I don't massive I just want a lil more than what I got and reliable
That thing has plenty of power - very cool & unique build
I like Destroyer Grey on the Charger, not so much on Challenger. Sick Daytona!!!
But you havent seen mine
I Wanna do that to my RT . I think a RT hellcat would be pretty cool
There’s a guy that did that he has a UA-cam called Wervenom345 i found him watching one of hemilife44 videos and he’s making almost Hellcat power, i can’t remember if he swapped the motor or kept the original motor and built it (probably kept the original motor) but yeah check out his UA-cam and see what he did to his build
There's a handful of guys now with Hellcat blowers on their 5.7L - they see some solid results
Beautiful car 🔥what did you do to exhaust that sounds so bad ass
Catless mids & Corsa extreme catback
All good, except for the fact that the hellcat 6.2 has less stroke than the 392 (same 4.09" bore, 3.58" vs 3.72" stroke). By swapping in a hellcat crankshaft- and the required connecting rods with it- the motor is no longer a 392ci [6.4L] displacement engine. It's now a 380ci [6.2L].
Sounds like a terrible idea considering the compression.
I’m in, I’ll take 2 please
LOL
Stroker kit…
@@SRT_DRE that would not help at all
@@THESLlCK you clearly don’t know what you’re talking about.
@@SRT_DRE clearly you're a pagliacco that thinks that increasing stroke is going to alter the negative effects of increasing CFM and boost to an engine that was built with high compression to accommodate natural aspiration. You donkey.
I need to be out more I rarely seen molars out
A lot of really nice Mopar builds out there
Which conversion kit did he use to install the Supercharger?
He took parts from the MMX kit
Nice. Daily driver?
Yes it is
🔥🔥
Why it's not whining loud like a hellcat??
probably the intake cause the 16 HC dont whine loud like the 18-current
Where is he from?
Florida
I was just a little confused on his killer chiller. How does it work instead of AC?
My guess is there is something in the cabin he presses to switch the AC air going into the cabin or the intake.
I should've asked more questions about the killer chiller system
@@RTLife I googled it, that's first time I've heard that. Thanks anyway.
Neon green 💚 ✅ stripes make it pop?
I’ve never seen anyone put a hellcat cam in a 392 or hellcat, do you think it’ll work on an RT ??
Yes it will work. A 5.7L Ram had one installed

I wouldn't be surprised if Dodge offers that package for 2023 during last hooray! 🤔
there's already a daytona hc model. bet you can still find low-mileage
@@zacharygriffeth7269 I nean only for the scat wb trim
I'm at a crossroads. I don't know if I should continue trying to sell my jeep SRT so I can get a Trackhawk, or to do something like this 😕 been trying to sell it for about a month or two and no luck.
This is not a bad route at all esp. if you can get parts or labor for a decent price. Having a larger displacement Hellcat is a unique & cool route to take
@@RTLife only issues is that I'm quoted 23k for a supercharger kit, building the engine and labor. Which i can do, but I keep seeing you say it cost this guy 15k? Is that what he said? Because that price seems low, and if it's the case, I'ma need to get in touch with someone for the scoop so I can follow in their footsteps.
yes that is what he told me - after parts/labor etc. ballpark $15,000.
@@RTLife man if I could do it for 15k I'd pull the trigger now. Because for that price I could also throw in a trans and be paying total cost what I'm being quoted for now just to do the engine build and supercharger added.
It really is a matter of where you are, what prices you can get the parts for & labor costs. I cammed my R/T a couple of years back for $3000 ballpark which is $3-4k less then most would pay. Just have to do the digging yourself & find the best deals.
How much did it cost, and damn that shits badass af lol I’d to it to a 392 if I had one
It was about $10-15k after everything all said & done
@@RTLife doesn’t sound bad. I think that would be somewhat cheaper then buying a hellcat from factory and a unique car too. You just took dodge’s most cubic displacement model and put a hellcat blower on it
he's installing the hp90 soon, so he can crank up the boost
@@RTLife that can't be right. It's 7500 alone just to put forged drop in pistons. Then another 6000 for all the parts needed on mmx to adapt the hellcat supercharger to the 392. Then the actual cost of the supercharger itself, which I think he said he got for 1500? And then the labor of having all that put on, then the tuning. I'd say closer to 20k
@@MrDionstarrr forged internals are 3k, and the conversion from mmx is about 3k as well, so if the labor was free, thats 8k to put the supercharger on and run
Hey bro I would recommend blurring out the license plates just for safety. Check you Valley racing on YT.
Hellcat the world! 😂😂😂
hahaha - so cool right?!
How far does he drive it daily?
I would shoot him a message on Instagram. Seems like a pretty dependable build - making decent power
Love this build, what, 30 some k for
the car and what maybe 15k at most
for engine build, still cheaper than
buying new Scat Pack or Hell Cat,
Sweet!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Exactly right. You're on point $$$ wise. The best part, this is unique & cool
I'm building a slightly upgraded 06
Charger R/T with about 5500.00
in parts, now Skye from Reignited
is building a 5.7 from 06 using
Eagle heads, I just bought a pair
of new Heads for my build but I
might upgrade mine depending on
how his build comes out!!
Is the crank also a direct swap ?
If you have a 392, he did it without any issues
@@RTLife my bad I meant for a 5.7

He did a great job on that widebody conversion.

@@RTLife 💯💪 Rock on brother! I have a friend that is building his just like the guy in third video. He already has the hellcat blower and next will be the forged internals 392 kit next. Then pull it out and assemble it etc 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I would’ve just bought a hellcat
Would've been easier but man this is (at least to me) so much cooler & unique
Especially now with a 35k mile used fairly new hellcat going for 80k.No thanks I’ll build up my 38k paid for scat pack with 4K miles. Other than quick convenance why would u trade up for power now?
@@bossstrick Yea it’s definitely cooler to build it. But when your engine blows or something happens it’s a costly mistake. Seems like this guy has hellcat money.
Why would my engine blow if it was built correctly?? A forged 392 or 426 swap would cost less
My mustang would gap it. 😁
Great video, only at the very end was I disappointed, because the view of that Charger taking off was blocked by your other video suggestions. Definitely a very cool car though!
Hellcat lifters arent a thing
I put them in when camming my 5.7
@@RTLife the hellcat lifters are just the new lifters that they put in all the V8s. Some vendors are calling them hellcat lifters and charging more. Unless it was explained wrong to me 🤘
I think you're right about them being identical but I believe most cam packages include hellcat lifters because they delete MDS.
Either way I need a set in my 05 R/T Magnum 😄 love the channel broseph 🤘
You should have just got a hellcat
So if he did a hellcat crank, he’s no longer 392 displacement. 392 and hellcat engines share the same bore and rod length. The crank is what makes the difference between them. 392 crank has a longer stroke, hellcat crank has a shorter stroke. He now basically has a strengthened hellcat bottom end. Especially with the hellcat cam. I don’t know where people get their information from but they should know what’s they are doing to their cars before they go spreading mis information. Not saying that that was his intention but he should learn a little more about his car and RT life should know the difference by now. Love the build though.
