      iirc when you throw your pokemon out in the "lets go mode" aka the auto battle mode they WILL NOT attack pokemon that are shiny, sooooo assuming your mon is strong enough you can just wipe everything while searching for even more rolls.

    Something I hope to see in a DLC which we'll inevitably get is that there's gonna be a literal Mass Outbreak of Paradox Pokemon in the normal world. I mean, with the Zero Gate open in Postgame, they could climb up and leave "easily". Would be funny.
    In general I hope to see a lot of Area Zero related extra stuff. Rebattling/re-encountering the professor(s), deeper access to Area Zero for the eventual Dogs/Justice paradox, and perhaps even access to the time machine in the way Ultra Wormholes worked (so like, being able to go back.)

    • @THEdarkkman
      @THEdarkkman Рік тому

      I don't think that we will see one day the Paradox Mass Outbreak soon.
      The time machine shouldn't work anymore since both the knowledge (AI Turo) and the material (Violet/Scarlet book) to make it work are no longer present in this time, and most unlikely to come back.
      And by the Zero Gate being open, do you mean the gate at the bottom of the Area Zero where the professor was ?
      If so, since the time machine doesn't work anymore, so they're won't be any Paradox pokemon leaving and making mass Outbreak.
      But if the scenario was a little bit different then that would be awesome I agree

    I noticed this pattern a few days ago (was wondering if any youtubers would also notice it), was trying to hunt for shiny Axew or Fraxure and did over 200 resets while standing in/near Alfornada and Mezagoza. Never really saw any Pokémon I cared about going for and decided to start moving around the map when resetting. Ended up getting different Pokémon to start spawning once I started going to random places, then finally decided to stand in the specific habitat/encounter area with the Pokémon I wanted. Had a Fraxure outbreak spawn within 20-30 resets.
    I believe there are a few things that can be determined for certain just off of my subjective analysis:
    - Outbreaks per day are between 4 and 8 Pokémon.
    - Position on the map (possibly the Biomes in surrounding tiles like mentioned in this video) play a role in determining SOME of the Pokémon that will spawn with each reset. (I believe there maybe a specific # selected for Pokémon of the biomes and possibly some set as "random").
    - Some Pokémon are significantly more likely to spawn as outbreaks, especially the pre-evolutions. (Flittle, Rufflet, Psyduck, Slowpoke, and many others).
    Best thing to do if you are hunting a specific Pokémon for an outbreak is go to an area on the map that Pokémon normally spawns in (habitat) and reset until you see the outbreak.

  • @redapetfm2162
    @redapetfm2162 Рік тому +2

    One important thing I don't think you picked up on is the spawns that happen within your tile that are rarer than the common ones all over the map will ONLY spawn next to you. So the tandemaus for instance would have only spawned next to you and not far away from you. The other outbreaks all over the map spawn regardless of where you are. With this information, you save time by just looking at the spawns around and you and not panning all over the map

    My programmer brain is telling me that this is probably what’s going on:
    Active spawn/encounter tables are determined by your location on the map. Then when it rolls for mass outbreaks, it’s picking from active spawn tables instead of all possible ones (which leads me to believe this was an unintended bug that could be patched later depending on how much they care to patch something as minor as this considering the current state of the game)

    I cant confirm this because I haven’t tested to the levels you have, but I believe also eating a sandwich with encounter power influences the outbreaks that spawn. I have had really great success targeting specific mons with both the zone and encounter sandwich boosts

    I'm pretty sure most people know this. But in case you didn't if you save the game before the midnight reset and leave the game or or turn it off (up to you). Then when midnight rolls over it does it usual reset on outbreaks. But if you don't like them you can just turn the game off then back on again over and over till you land on roles for outbreaks that you like. Just can't save again till you have a outbreak you wanna keep. Nothing special but figured I would mention it for those that don't know and don't wanna time skip.

    I think that there is another way to choose your outbreak with out date skipping, you save before the outbreak ends then when it starts you see what you have if you dont like the outbreaks you turn you game of then back on. the outbreaks will be different. Because of this you will be limited to where you last saved but you can still choose the outbreak by doing this without bate skipping. Also Keep up the awesome work Austin

    Thanks for showing us the isolated shiny method. It is by far the best method that I used
    I shiny hunted for Orthworm and for anyone else who wants to shiny hunt for it, they are the only steel type Pokémon in the desert.

    I need me a herba mystica farming tutorial! I did 4 zard raids, and 8-10 other 5&6 star raids and got none so idk if I’m doing something wrong. But also I heard certain Pokémon drop specific herba mystica?!?! If that’s the case that would be huge! You always give more effort to stuff like this than anyone I’ve ever watched…the entire Pokémon community appreciates it tremendously!!!!

    not even colourblind but i still cant tell a different between normal slowpoke and shiny slowpoke.. i know shiny version a little bit brighter but sunshine in the game plays a role too thats why sometimes the pokemon looks darker or brighter at some point and its really confusing unless it sparkles when you battle them.

    I'm guessing that you're most likely aware already- But on the off chance you are not... You don't have to advance your clock ahead 1 day at a time to force new outbreaks. Just change the time from am to pm or vice-versa, then go back to sync w/ internet. Quickly open game in between sync and force am/pm. Wash, rinse, repeat. Whichever one (am or pm) turns game time to next day, will respawn outbreaks. It does take a couple extra A presses, but at least you're not ahead in the future by months or years.
    I found that my auctions took forever to catch up when I had my clock ahead by a few days.
    Thanks a million for all that you do!

    This is really interesting, great to see it tested so rigorously! It does make me wonder what happens if you’re actually IN Area Zero, with that having a fair few exclusives and no mass outbreaks in the crater itself. I suppose the map always records you as being in the Zero Gate though, so there would always be some normal tiles bordering your position.
