Flat out, this is my favorite creepypasta. It's able to sound like it was written by a teenager who went through this kind of thing, and the monster itself is never truly glimpsed by the narrator either. Sometimes I wonder if it's a true story.

I miss these types of stories from that time.
Honestly most Goatmen stories just sounds like a cryptid that either wants company, curious, or territorial. Most of them aren't even violent, just like to scare people lol.

This is one of my favs cuz I live close to Huntsville and have heard stories about a goatman in the woods but I always figured it was made up someone heard bout the Jersey devil and change the location to Huntsville to scare people but I never took a chance find out 😎🤘

You honestly bring such life to these stories with your narration style and improv acting. Literally made the story twice as tense as it otherwise would have been. Keep doing what you do, this was amazing.

I'm from northeastern Illinois, along the Wisconsin border. I've seen things. I will never go into the woods without a two handguns, one a .357 magnum revolver and a .22 pistol loaded with .22 magnum hollow points. There are things out there.
This is one of my favorite spooky stories but I always feel like I would have left after the first night/noticed that the bathroom had a window 😅
Still..after hearing the story a few times I always get chills when they notice there’s an extra person so I do still love this ☺️
Truly one of the greats. It still unnerves me, where other stories get kinda convoluted and too involved in themselves... this one is told just enough that it grabs you, pulls you in and throws you in the middle of it all.

As juvenile as it was, it really feels like the story loses something without the excessive profanity... Still a great reading though! And if you haven't listened to the original dozens of times like I have, I'm sure you'll hardly notice.
As much as I miss the swearing adding to the fear factor of the story, the detail at 20:24 of the “person” speaking gave me chills.

I remember reading this on 4chan close to a decade ago. This video has great narration and background music. You did it justice and I love showing it to people whom think they’re invulnerable to horror stories only to get pissed at me for having trouble sleeping or smoking outside by themselves.
