That's what the union was paying back in 1996 25 an hour but you had to be in the Union mine was Laborers Union. Like it was money to be made everywhere at that point in time people had money they were willing to spend it I had so many housekeeping jobs and different gigs like that pretty much made my own hours and still made home made $600 a week it was good times rent was cheap like 250 a month Good times we'll never see that again 😭

Amazon, Starbucks etc workers are unionizing! I remember being on the picket line with my mom when the workers at General Dynamics striked when Lockheed bought them. Yeah we'll recession but those of us who are unionized typically fair better.

Today anybody with any awareness knows the number one enemy of workers are the union leaders, the democrats, and the republicans and of course the capitalist class that gives them all their marching orders. Enemies pretending to be friends are more dangerous than open enemies.
Fantastic job as Bonesaw Vic. The story and characters are very enjoyable, too. The writer is talented.
So far nothing too frightening. A sasquach named Harry that loves being groomed. But gets angry if you stop. A foul mouthed leprechaun that likes to get shiney gifts. A even more foul mouthed goblin that makes you clean his messes. Ew! A cute and loveable jackalope you just want to give hugs to. And a beautiful water nymph with a icy demeanor. Other than a mystery succubus the boss is the most scary thing so far.
I can't wait to hear more and find out whom this mysterious smoking man is watching the main character. Is it one of Vic's people, a reporter, a fed, or something worse?
I'm guessing they only showed him the comparatively less-dangerous critters on his first day.
This has to be one of my favorite stories ever. I really hope this turns out to be a series.

Man that was intense. If it was not for the whole gangster thing with the threat of being "Disposed of" if there was a slip up, I would think that would be a sweet gig to work at. Almost like the SCP minus 95% mortality rate.
